Great service from a great group. Only place in Lexington that I would take my Porsche. Always an enjoyable experience.

This place is a joke. Called and told the dealer what was wrong with the car and was told to bring it in for inspection. They literally told me the same thing I already knew and told them over the phone and charged me 135 for nothing! Stay away! These guys are a joke. I got a better code reading and inspection at AutoZone.

Brian, the owner was terrific to work with, I couldn't be more pleased. He was recommended to me by both of the garages I usually use because I spilled a cup of coffee into the console of my 2002 CLK Mercedes that fried the shifter so it wouldn't go into gear. Brian specializes in European cars and is the ONLY one in town that is Affordable, Honest and quick. I've used ALL of the Euro garages in Lexington for my Benzs (convertibles, Sedans, S, SL, E, C & CLK series) BMWS (3, 5, 7 series), Jags (xj & xjs), Audi (cabriolets), Volvo (c70) and have been outright ripped off or overcharged by EVERY single one of the specialty shops without exception until I used Brians. He is now going to get all of my Euro car work and referrals. Great attitude, great work, great price. Thanks!

The only place in central Kentucky to bring your German vehicle. These guys provide excellent service at a very reasonable price. They will advise you honestly on what the vehicle needs and won't sell you a bunch of unnecessary services.

I am not from here, but chose this place after reading all of the great reviews. I needed a full new wire harness from front to back for my 1972 VW. Bad choice coming here. The wires are hanging where they shouldn't, and my flashers haven't worked since I got it home. This is after my pick up date was pushed back from 10 hrs, to a few days, all the way up until a month had passed. They never once called me about any issues, or extra part/switch needed. I felt unwelcomed every time I had to go there. Terrible customer service from my experience. Maybe it's because I'm Er.. Tall. Yeah, it's because I'm tall...lets go with that reason. I was treated like my business meant nothing to them, and the work shows. Definitely didn't wire my 1972 VW the way a shop that repairs Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, etc would I can assure you. We are in the process of building a collection, and I initially told the owner I wanted to bring him my business with my future restorations. Well, I will not use their services again, nor send referrals to this business.

I have used this business multiple times for repairs and service on my Porsche 911, Ferrari 360, Maserati Quattroporte, BMW M6, and Range Rover. Straightforward, honest, and fairly priced!

Brian and team helped sort out some issues on an older car that I recently purchased. They were very knowledgeable and thorough in their work and the car is running like new. Thanks for getting me back on the road!

We own two Porsche Cayenne turbos and Brian and team take care of all our service issues. Getting the cars to Louisville Porsche is too much. Foreign Affairs does great work in a timely manner and at a good value. A short story to share in terms of value. A piece of metal debris ruined a rear tire on one of our Cayennes. I called S&S Tire, who works on our domestic cars, to see if they could get the Pirelli tire and the cost. They told me four days and $335 installed. I took the car to Foreign Affairs in the hopes of getting it done quicker. Larry, Foreign Affair's service manager, called S&S while I was standing there and S&S delivered the tire to Larry the next day. When I paid Foreign Affairs, they charged me $235 for the tire and $35 install. They were $65 less than S&S and three days faster than me buying the tire directly from S&S. It's a great example of the difference between auto repair shops in terms of pricing and performance. Foreign Affairs is the real deal. They get my highest endorsement.

Guys please be aware, these guys had mine and partners car for 6 months, kept telling me parts shortage, would never tell me the parts, wouldn’t answer their phones, and worst of all never got the job done right. Continued to have problems. Hippy kids with big ear rings and bad attitudes.

Thank you to the team at Foreign Affairs! I took my X3 in to Don Jacobs this time last year and they tried to charge me a minimum of $10,000, then sell me a new car instead. I got a recommendation to come to Foreign Affairs and they fixed the same problem for $2,300 and it's been running great ever since! Thank you for your honesty and quick, quality work!

Very knowledgeable techs. Great with high-end and exotic Euro cars (e.g. Porsche, etc.). If you need service quickly, maybe not your best option as they are often booked up, but worth a call.

Foreign Affairs is the best I’ve ever had for servicing my vehicles. Knowledgeable. Generous with thoughtful mechanical advice in prioritizing the dysfunctional repairs required. They are a great value. I priced several issues with a previous car, including the Lexus dealership and several of the shops that advertise their abilities in European and Asian brands. Hands down Foreign Affairs was 15-20% lower for comparable service. I have only written a few endorsements for a business. I depend on Brian and crew to get the job done efficiently. They never disappoint.

Brian and Shane provided GREAT customer service. I was greeted with a smile when I brought my Porsche in for service. They performed the work on time as promised, and were very reasonably priced. I even drove from Louisville, Ky to let them provide the service. Would recommend them to anyone. I will be back! Thanks

Dropped my girlfriend’s VW Jetta off because of an EPC light coming on when it was started. They cleared the codes and checked on it - didn’t charge me a dime when I picked it up. Bring these honest folks your business.

Instead of wasting 10 days of time (FA wouldn't answer the phone or call back) and $200 on vacuum hoses (which were not quoted or customer approved), go to Stuttgart Motors on N. Broadway and have your Mercedes properly diagnosed, quoted and customer approved and repaired in 2 days. This is the first and I hope only negative review I have written.

The guys at Foreign Affairs have been great. They don't push additional unneeded services and do and great job servicing both my cars. You will most likely need to leave a phone message, but they've always gotten back with me. Small shop, great results.
