Worst car service ever! It is a scam. I brought my Jeep Wrangler Last May for a problem at the computer of the car. He said that he fixed it for $2600. It seemed that he was fixed but after two weeks I had a similar problem and I brought the car to another car service and they told me that the problem was about the same computer that was replaced. So I call back G.O.D.S. to ask if I had a warranty for my computer. They told me yes, so I brought to them. They charge me 3500 dollars because they say that there were other problems. They told me to pay 2500 upfront before the work starts. So I pay and I wait for over five months and obviously the work was not done. They told me that it was impossible to find the piece. So I wanted to move the car to another car service. But to do so, they want me to pay the remaining 1000 dollars even if the job was not done. When I had my car back I brought to a car service and he told me that he has never seen a car in these conditions after a car service. The fuselage box was missing with other stuff. G.o.d.s. told me that he would have given me back the fuselage box and the receipt with all the work. It’s funny because there was no work and obviously I didn’t receive anything. Now the new car service is trying to fix the incompetence and indifference of this guy. I have respect for every persons in this world, but not for him. He found me in a difficult moment and he took joke of me. I believed in him and he lied because he knew that I could be easily scammed. So, if you are undecided, please don’t go to this man. It is a menace for your mental health

This shop is the bees knees of shops. The owner Elias is a great man, I had issues with my transmission and decided to bring my Van in. Noone wanted to touch my van because of the age of it. Elias could care less, he helped me willingly and happily. At first he wanted to fix alot of things that I simply couldn't afford. I told him my situation and he broke down what NEEDED to be done and things that COULD be done. Once we got everything that NEEDED to be done. My Van drives like a brand new vehicle! ANY other shop would've tried to rip me off and pull the wool over my eyes on issues that didn't matter. The owner understood my situation and helped me out. He's a very reasonable person and is super understanding. Give him a shout, you won't regret it! Easily 5 stars. I don't even really leave reviews but this one is granted. Thank you Elias, R.I.P to your father. God bless you brother! 🙌

This is an easy review !! I live in the Galveston area where a local mechanic Supposedly did some work on my vehicle. I work out of town travel to Corpus and my transmission went out on my vehicle knowing I would be stuck here I needed to make something happen fast to get me back on the road.so I called G.O.D.S auto repair!! he was quickly to respond to my call come to my vehicle and diagnosed it immediately. He towed my truck to his shop for a very reasonable price within hours. He had a complete diagnosis and costs … there’s no need to go to thunderbolt G.O.D.S Put the Yeehaw back in my transmission and got me on the road back to Houston!!! This man was very thorough and even told me what the other mechanic shop messed up on my vehicle… I highly recommend this shop.. Any bad reviews most definitely must be a lie!!!

These guys here! Are freaking awesome! I drive a Ford 19 350, yes i know a ford. 😏 but this shop literally fixed any issue i had before that weren't fix by previous shop. From turbo, to egr cooler, up pipes, injectors, to bent valves. They got it all and did the job right. Feels better than when i 1st bought it.

I have used this company for multiple vehicles. It started with my diesel truck. I had an issue that another mechanic could not fix, wasted a good amount of money. I brought it here, they found the problem and got it fixed for a very reasonable price. On my wife's volkswagen the EPC light came on and turns out it was just $100 fix. On my ford flex another mechanic told me I needed motor mounts and I took to his shop, he called me back telling me it was a transmission issue. After all his tests and troubleshooting turns out it just needed a transmission flush. The car is running like new. Now he is fixing my ac on my other vehicle. He is very reliable and explains everything in detail. Elias is good trustworthy guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing mechanical repairs on their vehicle.

Oh, the drama! So, apparently, I’m being labeled as less than truthful about an incident that allegedly didn’t occur. How charming. Listen, I’m practically a saint for not escalating this to the authorities and slapping it all over this review—consider it my random act of kindness for the day. But no thanks forthcoming? Shocking. To clarify: I never pointed fingers at you personally for the vanishing act my catalytic converter pulled while parked in your establishment. It just… poofed! And now you’re boasting about having it all on tape? Marvelous! Too bad that revelation came fashionably late, after I’d already driven off sans said converter. Folks, take a gander at this exchange—does this sound like the kind of customer service that makes you want to roll out the red carpet? Go ahead, keep chatting; it’s like a free masterclass in dodging responsibility and playing the blame game with your patrons. Side note: Catalytic converter thieves? What a peculiar hobby. Not my cup of tea. And hey, being dubbed a fibber? Not fun. As for stars, I’m eyeing a solid three, maybe dipping to two if we’re feeling generous. I wrapped this up by shelling out at another spot for a replacement and called it a day. But apparently, that’s not confrontational enough for some. What a sophisticated operation. Thumbs decidedly down.

I went to seven different shops with my truck, some of them having the fanciest of equipment and with floors that look like you could eat off of them. Not one of those shops was able to get my truck going! After a couple of thousand dollars worth of trial and errors! I stumbled across what I would consider the “mom and pop” version of a garage! G.O.D.S auto! In a matter of less than an hour, they knew what was wrong with my truck! And after one day it was fixed! I told the owner Elias what I went through and he literally gave me the best price a person could ask for! The shop may not look like much but let me tell you! The quality of work for the price you pay is unmatched!! I’m a great judge of character and I can tell you right now that the recent low star review is a load of bull! These guys deserve better than for their reputation to be dragged through the mud! I will be coming here from now on when any of my trucks have a problem! -Much Obliged

I was driving home when my car suddenly left me stranded. Car would not turn on, so I called G.O.D.S, the owner Elias assured me they would make time and room for my car to be checked out. Car was towed to the shop at 1:30pm and no kidding by 2pm the issue was solved and I was ready to be back on the road! My issue was so minor that elias didn’t even want to accept my money. Though I could have handled the issue myself after their help, I refused and had them fix the issue anyway! These guys went above and beyond for me and I’m confident they will do the same for anyone who chooses to bring their vehicle here. Elias is a humble, well knowledgeable and respectful guy. They will be getting business from me and anyone I know who has issues with their cars (any type for that matter) for the rest of my life. I highly recommend you give them a shot!

I don't leave reviews to build rapport with an establishment, or if I'm asked to leave a review. My reviews are strictly reserved to give data to my fellow consumer so that they have enough information to make an informed decision. That said, when I tell you I cried...I literally cried after eight months of being talked to like a moron and then finally being spoken to with respect by Elias. A large dealerships service department talked to me like a moron. A nine bay chain mechanic shop...talked to me like a moron. Elias was respectful. Elias was also the only one who found a solution to every problem presented... including logistics. The only downside to this establishment is limited parking. However, same goes for my favorite bakery because so many value their product and service. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

2004 VW Jetta TDI, a car that many mechanics don’t have the specialty tools/ knowledge to work on. The owner Eli is THE MAN, he was very familiar with the TDI platform and knew right away what I needed to get the car back on the road. GODS lived up to its name and he had my transmission Dropped, cleaned, new clutch, flywheel, and all associated parts replaced within 24hrs of me dropping off the parts. He also was able to find OEM CV oil seals that the dealer couldn’t locate. Overall I have never been more pleased with a mechanic!

Broke down Tuesday night in mathis. I called every mechanic Tuesday night nobody answers. So I reached out to elias Tuesday at 8:30pm. Mind you I don't live in corpus. On Wednesday morning Elias diagnose my car. He removed the transmission Wednesday afternoon. Ordered the transmission for my 2022 Nissan Altima from the Nissan dealership. Thursday morning the transmission arrived. By Thursday afternoon 5:00 p.m. I was back on the road. What a amazing job. Warranty with $100,000 miles or three warranty which ever comes first.
