Service department was 4 days booked in advance. By some miracle the service rep worked my truck in. Always went to Autonation Chevrolet south but they told me 10 days and leave my truck. Going forward, I will make my purchases and service appointments with Autonation Chevrolet North. They were very informative and professional and replaced fuel separator and it was no cost to me. My wait time for my service was good and the staff was friendly, but the only issue i had when I got back into my vehicle was that was traces on oil stain on my driver side door which I cleaned off and the techs or person who used my vehicle went thru my glove compartment and center console were as if someone ran sacked my car or if they were looking for something in particular. That was the only thing that was bothering to me and my vehicle when I got back into it after my service. I also haven't got a copy of my invoice for my service thru email as I was told by my advisor due to the ticket still being open by the tech.

An hour and a half later, my multi point inspection was completed. Everything was explained to me before I signed off. I was given information to call back if the battery was still acting up.

Had retrofit warranties done on my vehicle from back in 2022 when I bought it new and certain things were not on it due to a chip shortage. Finally got it taken care of before it expired and Robert C. was able to get the parts ordered when I originally took it in on a weekday and able to finally have my vehicle retrofitted with the chips needed on a weekend when I was able to take it in. I dropped off my vehicle and Royal said it would be about 2 hours, well no one answered the phone more than 2 hours later when my wife called to see if the car was ready. We arrived at the dealership and Royal said they needed more time and my wife agreed to leave the vehicle there so they could continue to work on calling GM to see about a part. I never got a call the next business day and no one answered the phone. My wife had to leave work to go over there and Royal was not there. A man named PIP spoke to my wife and said the technicians had to do the same thing they did when it was originally dropped off because Royal did not leave any notes about the tech needing to call GM and there were no notes from a tech stating they ever touched the vehicle when it was dropped off. My wife left the vehicle again and never got a call back, she went back later in the day and PIP said he text Royal and Royal said that it needed a diagnosis check, nothing about calling GM like he told her when she first dropped it off. PIP was rude and was very unkind to my wife he kept talking over her. We think the techs lied when we first dropped it off and then Royal and PIP did not show any kind of professionalism . We took the vehicle somewhere else to be looked at.

I'll start with, Robert was an amazing advisor and he is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 1. The issue I had with my visit was not his fault and he was very professional, helpful, communicative and friendly through it all. My only complaint is I had called to schedule my appointment a week ahead of time and when I scheduled it I told them I was coming in for a recall to be fixed. They took my VIN and I assume they verified that there was a recall for what I stated. When I got the "diagnosis" back that what I had said was in fact the issue I was told they would have to order the part. This was very frustrating since I use my car to drive around all day for work and I was without a vehicle most of the day and would now still have to come back another day because they didn't have the part. My vehicle is a 2023 so the fact that they don't have a part for an open recall on a newer model vehicle that fails consistently and is something that Chevy will replace repeatedly for the life of the vehicle in stock was frustrating. I was most irritated because when I had scheduled, I stated it was for that specific recall and the fact that no one checked for the part before the appointment, not whoever took the call and no one else at the dealership in the week leading up to my appointment looked at what the appointment was for and saw "recall" and decided to check if the part was even in stock. Like I said, Robert had great customer service throughout and apologized a couple of times for a miscommunication and I have nothing bad to say about him. The service department process as a whole could get it together a little bit more compared to my experience at 2 other manufacturers dealerships in the Corpus area so far.

We were having problems with the cruise control on our van staying engaged while at highway speeds. We took it to AutoNation Chevrolet to have the problem diagnosed. I was greeted quickly and kindly as I entered the service department and immediately was able to inform them of the problem. After leaving the van with them, I was contacted via email within 30 minutes and given the name and direct line to the individual who would be the front-end contact for service progress information. Each time I called over the time that the van was in their care I was able to talk to him and the work was completed in a timely manner. Thanks, AutoNation Chevrolet.

I’m give Sales four stars. Sale took five hours to process not to bad. I never give five stars because there is always room for improvement in some way. However I give service 2 stars and I am being generous. Process is way too slow. I don’t care about service department excuses or reasons I just want my vehicle in and out. Respect my time give accurate and timely updates there is no need for the fluff. I want to buy another car from my sales rep but I will be taking my experience from service into consideration. Maybe-maybe not I will think about it.
