Robin (more like Robbing) is a liar and a thief. I bought a used car off him that he allegedly replaced the head gasket on. His work lasted all of a month before white smoke stated bellowing out of the tailpipe (coolant in the cylinders). I immediately asked if his work was warrantied to which he says no. So he said he'd fix it for $500 when I asked him to rectify it. When I go to pick up my truck he now wants $1200?? Thanks for robbin me Robin. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I believe it's imperative for service oriented businesses to be everything that Gage Automotive is; professional, punctual, quality, with strong value add. I called around to many garage's in the area to repair my car and they were all missing at least one of these qualities, Gage Automotive has them all. In addition I was very impressed about how fair the pricing was around labor, these guys have it nailed for their industry!

I got a recommendation from a friend a few years ago and I have been bringing my car here ever since. The workmanship and price are great; plus the work is done in a timely manor. Robin is the owner and I trust him. Good mechanics are hard to find. Good people are even harder to find.

**0/5 stars** Go at your own risk!! Robin was an absolute nightmare to work with. They tried to collect payment upfront and got mad at the customer when I wouldn’t do that, then started the work anyways and held my car/keys hostage until I paid anyways. He has no accountability, zero ability to communicate, he physically grabbed my shirt and tried to push me out of the shop, my partner was with me and tried to de-escalate but Robin told her to “shut up, you’re just a woman”. In response to my multiple complaints, he said “well we’ve been in business for over 30+ years”… if that isn’t enough, look up this place on BBB they aren’t accredited even though they’ve got the sign posted at the front desk. Take the advice of a stranger and avoid this place like the plague.

Excellent, yes Exellent, I've an 02 Beetle, that's had issues since day one, Robin is ingenious, thorough, & came up with a solution for the problem & was very modest about it, I won't take my car anywhere else, the price was super reasonable, If you need a mechanic Gage is the one, Thnx Robin & Jose great work...

I took my car here for an engine replacement. The shop quoted me one price at the start, but in the middle of the job they increased the cost without giving me the option to cancel. At the end, they also added a 3.5% credit card fee that was never mentioned upfront. The lack of transparency and surprise charges made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this shop to others.

Robin the owner I did business with and he is nothing but good business. Straight shooter and honest. While I was in his shop he had repeat customers dropping off their cars you can tell they trusted him and had nothing but great experiences taking their vehicles to him.

I've been coming to these guys for over 5 years and every time I've come the prices have always changed. I've always stuck with him because they are a local business, and it was convenient for me however that does not take away from their loyalty, and their price gouging ways. I've been bringing three vehicles to their shop, just recently I attempted to bring a vehicle 2016 RX 350 F Sport to this location for the same work that I had done the previous year however this year they overcharged me $150 for the exact same work. I explained to him that I had receipts on all the pricings and business that I've been doing with them, in an attempt to show that I am a loyal customer, and that I was there not too long ago, and he told me that my receipts are Noel and void and these are the prices I called later and the price was changed on me again not knowing that I had called earlier, I took my business elsewhere found a new location with better work better pricing and even more so better customer service
