My rear end went out on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler right before getting on the freeway in Saginaw. Had to get it towed. Fortunately Gales Auto Repair was right down the street from my location. Really good, friendly and professional service at a fair price. Also, emailed me a comprehensive bumper to bumper diagnostic report. I would recommend them as a benchmark facility for independent auto repair shops.

I was really impressed with Gales. I had a cooling issue with my car they fixed. They were able to considerably bring the cost of the repair down. Unlike so many automotive repair shops you find these days, there was no up-selling, or trying to push unnecessary repairs. Just straight, honest work to fix the problem I brought the car in for. I waited to write a review, because with so many repair shops, when you have a car fixed, they'll put a bandage on the problem, only for you to have the problem resurface a short while later because it wasn't fixed properly. This isn't the case with Gales. After about 60 days, I can say the work they did was done well, and what they fixed has stayed fixed because they did a good job to begin with, customer satisfaction in mind. In today's world, it's rare to find such a great team of mechanics and a repair shop built around integrity and customer satisfaction. I'm thankful for Gales.

Gale's is our "go to" auto repair facility for my daughter. We have done multiple repairs with them and each time they are professional, courteous and complete the work as promised with amazing follow up... and all at a very reasonable price! It is especially useful to have trust in the shop, as my wife and I live down in Florida, while my daughter still resides in Michigan. This normally might be a case where a company can take advantage of her, but Gale's never does. They keep everyone in the loop at all times and will even go above and beyond with some of our past "requests" to help facilitate drop off and pick up outside of business hours, along with working with myself for payment so that our kid can simply pick up the vehicle once complete. Gale's is top notch and will continue to be where I send my daughter (and other friends/family that still reside in that area) for any automotive needs. Check them out... I guarantee you won't be sorry!

These are theeeee most kindest and wonderful mechanics I have ever had to deal with! I have ALWAYS had a car that always has problems. And I'm 50 years old. I have never had a more honest mechanic in my life. I love how they EXPLAIN to you what is going on with your car so you can better understand what the issues are and for just an oil change or regular maintenance checkups they can find problems before they become a REAL problem and leave you stranded. I love that! I hate that my car has problems but I love how they have early detection of alot of things. GREAT PLACE TO HAVE CAR WORK DONE HANDS DOWN!!!! Also, if you qualify they have a payment plan that can and has been very helpful for me with free loaner cars. I love this company. Absolutely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 place of business!!

My wife and I were headed up to our cottage in Gladwin from Waterford and stopped off at the Love’s Travel stop in Bridgeport. After gassing up, my wife noticed that a tire light was on and we saw that her right rear had 19 pounds and was falling! We went to the truck repair area at Lowes and they highly recommended Gales Auto Repair, just a couple miles west. We pulled into Gale‘s on Dixie Highway and saw that they were pretty busy… We had quite the predicament and I went up and spoke to Ben, who was awesome! He said they’re extremely busy but he would see what he could do in about 10 or 15 minutes. Joe came out and said they could get us in and took the car around back. He also, was excellent! My wife and I were waiting in their very comfortable lounge when Tim came out and told us that they were able to fix it and we were all set! These guys were awesome and took the time to get us in, with no appointment, and during a very busy afternoon! I’m a retired financial advisor of 36 years with offices throughout Michigan. I also just retired as the longest standing board member of the Michigan Better Business Bureau at 26 years. I would recommend Ben, Joe and Tim at Gale‘s Auto Repair in Saginaw to anyone I know and I would personally rate the service we received a big A+!

My fiance took his car to a shop to have the water pump replaced, the shop that fixed his car did more damage and could not get the car to start. We then towed our car to Gales on Dixie and was able to get a diagnoses rather quickly and they assisted us on how to go about the repair. They repaired the car very fast, we needed a new motor and I believe a timing chain. We worked with Ben who was really great to us! I am overly satisfied with their customer service and expertise. The car was purchased from Gales auto a few years ago. (I told my fiancé that this was the best place to have repairs done but he did not believe me, which led us to all of these additional problems. I’m sure he is aware now that they are in fact, the best of the best)! Don’t be like him, make the right choice the first time, it may cost you more in the end! Thank you Gales for showing us how you take care of your customers! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a repair, big or small!
