Bought a car from them. They were amazing the whole time and answering questions and telling us about the vehicles. A few months after my girlfriend got her car serviced she started having a terrible noise come from her car. Upon inspecting it myself I came to realize that not was she short a lug nut but that the rest were not tightened to spec. This is unsatisfactory and her safety could have been compromised. Upon getting another lug nut and tightening ALL lug nuts to spec the noise ceased and also halfway solved another issue with the car itself. How can you be a mechanic shop and not tighten lug nuts to specs after removing said wheel for the service that the car was there for. That is basic mechanics right there. No other service involving the wheel being touched was done besides the service at this specific shop. I hope this is helps with future service as I am not intending to be rude in the slightest but just voice my concern as it is in regards to the safety of a human being i hold dearly.

Gary's is a fast, fair, and affordable auto shop. I recently had my car towed there, hoping that I wouldn't need another engine. Fortunately, I wasn't taken advantage of, and the issue turned out to be much cheaper than what my tow truck driver had estimated. I've been living in Augusta, Georgia for about two years now, and Gary's has worked on both of my vehicles without any complaints. As a mother who relies on transportation, it's important to me that I'm not deceived out of my hard-earned money. Thankfully, Gary's has always been transparent and honest with me. I am truly grateful for their service and would highly recommend this auto shop. They are very professional, helpful, and offer great prices. I will definitely be returning in the future…..

I'm a long-haul truck driver and new to the area.I live around 3 miles away. I was expecting to leave out that day and needed my front brake pads replaced, and after researching and reading all of the good reviews, I decided to take my dodge durango in for front brake pads replacement. They were very reasonable on price and did a good job replacing the pads. After leaving, I noticed it didn't seem to have the power it did before. When I got home, I smelled brakes and noticed the right front brake was smoking. I called them about it, and Milton informed me that the caliper was probably bad because he had a hard time pushing it in when changing the pads. It's an older vehicle (02),so I understood that. After finding out I wasn't leaving out that day, I decided to change the brake caliper myself. After removing the wheel, and before I began to remove the caliper, I noticed my stabilizer arm link was broken and had been for a while. They either didn't notice it or didn't tell me about it (I assume the latter). What I didn't understand and the reason for only 3 stars is that I wasn't informed about the caliper or the stabilizer link when the brake pads were being changed! I would've appreciated being notified about them at the time! I may give them another shot sometime if I need something else repaired & and I can't or don't have the time to do it myself. If so, I will let them know to notify & show me if they notice any other problem.
