Five stars - Local , small business. Gets the work done and isn't trying to convince you to break your wallet on things you don't need. I refuse to go anywhere else after working with these folks. This is the type of service that we need more of. Normal people working with normal customers. 6 stars if I could.

Scheduled a maintenance with them and only got a call back on the day of the appointment saying that they were too busy and couldn't get me in

Joe and Kerstin are awesome! Joe has been my mechanic since I started driving. I am now 32 and they're the only people I trust with my Honda. I always feel safe driving my sons around because I know they really care. It helps that Kerstin always explains things so clearly.

I absolutely love taking my F-150 to Gary's Full Service. They are exactly the hometown auto service I was looking for. The team is laid back, but super professional. They're honest about the work needing to be done and fast to get the work done. Best of all though, the cost is reasonable. I've already recommended people to them and I will continue to do so.

My Mom passed away from cancer in January and she left me her car. I had been putting off the repair of the A/C in her car for awhile. I brought it in and they priced it lower than I expected. I was happy that it didnt cost me an arm and leg. They were very responsive and Joe, the mechanic who worked on my Mom's car has 20+ years experience. On the plus side it's a woman owned business. I am all about supporting our females out there who are trying to make a living.I highly recommend.

Fast and friendly. no bs mechanic. A little fancy too. When they do inspections they actually take photos of the damage and show you. They tell you what needs to be fixed asap and what can wait. Price well. Will be coming here for all my repairs in the future

Wanted a mechanic close to my house, I prefer to support small locally owned businesses. I have been coming here for a couple of years now, and am very happy I found them. Not only are they affordable, they are honest... unlike the dealers in the area. I recommend them to everyone.

WOW, I feel like this level of honesty and quality is what is missing these days. I have been using Gary's for the last 3 years and they never stop impressing me. When I have a issue with one of my vehicles they are able to get it in quickly. I appreciate the full vehicle inspection that occurs but I don't feel pressure to fix stuff that is not necessary. In fact many times I have asked their opinion for the best direction to go for what we use the vehicles for and feel like I get an honest answer. I really enjoy speaking directly with the mechanic that is doing the work and not some shop supervisor that is giving me information 3rd hand. At Gary's I am often shown the difference in quality of parts they use and I am able to form my own opinion of what should be done. I recently moved 2 hours away and feel the commute to have Gary's maintain our vehicles is still well worth it. And if you are concerned about the bottom line, I have shopped around and in many cases Gary's is the lower price. I recommend you use this local shop and support local small business.

We had an oil leak on the car. I needed service asap. I called the car dealer ship, they wouldn't even work on my car. They said it was to old. I found Gary's full auto service. They were friendly and were able to get me in right away. I was so grateful! They fixed the car quickly and I want to recommend them, for their great service, I will only go to them now! I really appreciate you both! Thank you so much! Birgit & Marty

I had Gary's Full Service replace the front tires on my MDX. The last place I used did not balance them properly, so my vehicle had a shimmy from the front end at highway speeds. Kerstin and Joe did a great job for me. I have new tires and no shimmy. I am very satisfied with the service I received.

This shop worked on cleaning my alternator and replacing valve gasket covers. They failed to fix a loose connection between the battery and the alternator, which my partner asked them to fix (we were already being charged over $1500, so of course we wanted everything fixed). The next time I drove the car after getting it back, the alternator totally fried since it was basically an open circuit due to the loose connection. I was left stranded in the middle of the street, had to pay for a tow truck, and now I'm saddled with a $900 bill for a whole new alternator (at a different garage, of course). They claimed it was a 'miscommunication' and refused to provide any refund. Take your vehicles somewhere else, unless you like negligence. Edit after owner's response -- we did not decline repairing the stripped stud. My partner told them on the phone we wanted it fixed. Record your phone calls, people. The bottom line is what we asked to be done wasn't, and we did not allow ourselves to be upsold on thousands of dollars of additional work, for a car that only needs to be able to drive 40 miles a week.

I've been going to Joe and Kerstin for awhile for my 2014 Chevy Equinox, which has been a relatively solid car despite the model's notorious problems (burning oil, especially). They recently checked out the car before I had a road trip and gave me a couple of "yellow flags" that could wait awhile but said I should be good to go, including my brake pads. My sister was driving the car into Santa Fe when she said the car was shuddering when she braked. Worried we were about to have something really bad happen, I pulled into a local place. Welllll...they totally swindled me: new pads, warped rotors, a torn boot, all sorts of stuff. The car was about to fall apart and strand us in the desert, clearly. Eager to move on to my next destination and not be stuck, I reluctantly gave them my credit card. I texted with Kerstin and let her know what happened. She called me back right away and explained in no uncertain terms that I was to go find a second opinion and not pay for anything (whoops, too late...I guess it's a norm at a mechanics not to pay for anything up front, unspoken rule). She checked with Joe about the recent diagnostic and talked me through the possibilities of what was actually happening with my car and supported me going up there and requesting a refund and only paying for what had been completed (new brake pads and rotors in back, still a ripoff for probably fine rotors and pads that were at 3.5mm but a more doable one). Yes, I felt like an idiot. Yes, initially they refused the refund and "had to call corporate", blah blah blah. But I probably saved $1700 in the process. Then, Kerstin stuck with me for doing basic troubleshooting for the shuddering. Joe proposed that it could be "bad gas", at one of the random stations we'd stopped at. He said that we could test filling up the balance of the tank with high octane Maverick gas (no ethanol). Would you believe that did the trick? All the car's symptom's disappeared (turned out it hadn't been shuddering upon brake, just shuddering in general). I completed my road trip without any issues and soon after went back to Gary's for a different test (discussed awhile back before all this went down for my aging car). They double checked the shady mechanic's work and said that they saw very little that needed addressing, and certainly nothing in the thousands. The car has driven fine since then. Anyway, highly recommend Gary's. They stand by their work!

I am a long time customer. On 3 separate occasions I had a dealership tell me that I needed extensive repairs. When Gary's looked over the vehicle they told me the repairs which were recommended were not necessary at that time!! I don't know any other repair shops which would do this!! Can't recommend them enough!!!

My husband and I found Gary's Full Service Auto after years of shoddy work and horrible experiences at other auto repair shops. Keirsten and Joe have always been extremely friendly, patient, and understanding. They have always kept me informed and have helped me determine the "red" items that need to be repaired immediately and the "yellows" that allow me a bit of time and budgeting. My 2014 Honda CRV has only made it this far because of them! They are a bright shop in the neighborhood and have always treated us with respect even when we struggled to make repair decisions based on our budget without stretching beyond our means. They have a customer for life and we appreciate the hard work they always put in.

There is not enough stars or words in the world to praise these guys! After my catalytic converter went out I was completely screwed, given massive price quotes from other shops all over town. When I finally found Gary’s, Kersten immediately went above and beyond. After the diag she started doing all the research she could on my catalytic converter, if aftermarket was available, called air care Colorado to get more information on it. At the end of the day the federal government has Colorado by the balls with our exhaust systems so it was still a hefty price however that was Hyundais hefty price not Gary’s. The care and compassion I felt from this shop is unrivaled from any mechanic or garage I’ve ever been to. They’ve won over my business for life. I live in castle rock and will happily drive or tow my vehicles to Gary’s for service. Thank you guys so much for getting us back on the road and for doing so much more than was even asked. YOU GUYS ROCK!!🤘

I have been using Gary's Full Service Auto for about 2.5 years now for my Nissan Sentra, and I will happily continue going to them for all my car needs while in Denver! I have an older vehicle that's had a variety of problems pop up over the past few years, and Gary's Full Service Auto has helped my with everything from oil changes to figuring out why my car kept stalling in the middle of driving. Kerstin is amazing and is always very transparent about pricing and keeping me informed throughout the whole process while we are working together. I appreciate that I have never felt like I was being pushed into getting a service I didn't need, and she is great about explaining why I need (or don't need) a service, how it works, how it impacts the longevity of the car, when I need to get, etc. They are also great at understanding and working within my budget constraints, focusing on the most pressing services first and then giving a realistic timeline of how long the other services can wait. Gary's Auto goes above and beyond in helping you feel heard as a customer - once, I was able to drive around with Joe to help identify the odd clanking noise that I was hearing. Another time, they invited me into the shop to show that another rattling noise was actually just a cosmetic issue rather than a safety issue. I love Gary's Auto because of the honesty and transparency I get from Kerstin, and I truly feel like a valued customer. Gary's Auto is also LGBTQ+ and women friendly, plus sometimes the shop dogs will greet you at the door which is always an added bonus :)

Joe and Kirsten were very honest and straightforward about the price and procedures of what they were doing to my Japanese import. Vehicle safety was their number one priority. After being turned away by several 'full-service' Toyota garages that claimed my car’s issue was too complex or outside their scope, Joe diagnosed the problem immediately and handled the repair with total confidence. It’s rare to find a mechanic with this level of technical expertise and problem-solving ability. If you have a job that no one else seems able to fix, save yourself the stress and bring it here first. Truly a master of the craft!"

What a wonderful shop with people who care and do great work. We arrived in Denver from out of town and noticed something was wrong with our transfer case. Having to be at the hospital and needing transportation back home in a few days the team at Gary's Full Service Auto Repair pulled off a remarkable task. Not only were they able to get the transfer case rebuilt and installed but they also were able to get a other needed repairs so we could safely travel back home on time. Their pricing was very fair and reasonable. Simply astonishing. We are so grateful and would highly recommend them for you auto repair needs! Thank you!!!
