Absolutely satisfied. My tires were on their last legs and I needed something before winter. The tires I had my eyes on were on extreme back order as in the company hadn’t even produced them yet. Travis walked me though many similar tires and asked me what I wanted out of them performance wise. He led me to a tire that was equally just as good in performance but actually cheaper on the wallet. Installed in a timely manner and answered any questions I had. Very flexible with appointment times as well. If you need a reliable, no nonsense, honest mechanic, I would try this garage out.

Had to call a few places before finding any that would repair a clutch in a 2009 Toyota. Gearhead accepted, and then they helped me with reducing price- because I’m stretched super thin, AND did free things - installed serpentine belt and threw on new windshield wipers because they saw mine were shot. The car drives like a new vehicle. True professionals, honest and with full integrity! Highly recommend!

My car started shutting off on me on my way home and the engine was smoking. I had an appointment for later in the week at Gearhead but things were now dire, so thankfully my car was able to make it to Gearhead late at night, I dropped my keys in the Dropbox. Travis was understanding when I called and told him about the new issues, and said he would try to get my car taken care of earlier in week if able. Not only was the work on my car finished on the original day I had scheduled to drop it off, the price of the work was extremely reasonable. Travis was transparent every step of the way and even though it was only my first time meeting him, he’s down to earth and treats you like family from the jump. Also, he likes dogs and that’s always sign of a good person. I love to support honest people and I’m glad I took my car here instead of elsewhere.

Had been going to a very reputable Mechanic for 7+ years and was very satisfied with their price and work. I was on my work early on a Friday morning when a brake line went. My mechanic was 20 miles away from where I broke down. I asked around looking for a local mechanic, 2 of the 3 people I asked recommended Gearhead Automotive and mentioned Travis by name. I needed the car repaired as I was travelling out of town the following day. I took the car in and had them check it out. Travis told me that the brake lines on my 20 year old winter car were all in the same salt corroded shape and recommended that the all get done. I explained the tight schedule that I was on and needed to be on the road early afternoon the following day. Travis talked to his crew and they agreed that it could and would be done if I left the car. Needless to say, the job was done on time with a very fair price. I now have a new automotive mechanic shop, great quality, fair price and closer to home. Cheers Gents!

I called Travis the night before and early in the morning. He returned my call right away. I was able to drop my car off and he was able to get to it in right away and find out the issue and fix it, he also brought me into the shop and went over the issue and showed me exactly what was wrong and talked me through it, which was awesome . Their whole team was very courteous, nice & honest. They also gave me a ride back to my house and picked me up when it was done. it’s hard to find a honest trustworthy mechanic these days, but I definitely found one at Gearhead. I highly recommend that you bring your car to them if you ever have any issues whatsoever or questions about your car and see what they can do to help you. I originally went here because they are really good helping my friend with her vehicle and she couldnt speak highly enough about them. I thought it was a nice local garage. Spoke with the owner in December and got a quote for Racho shocks and set a date for January. On January 7th, I was told the work was done and i paid for Rancho Shocks for my truck installation and alignment. The work at most should have been 2 hrs but I was charged 4 hrs of labor. Dropped it off at 9 and it was done by 1120 to include alignment i was told. I paid cash and they at least took off the taxes so paid 1500 cash 700 plus for the shocks and 4 hrs of labor and an alligment. I ordered and paid for them pizza for lunch. However I was surprised when i saw the bight yellow cheaper Monroe shocks were put on the first time but I was charged the Rancho Price. The truck drove worse on the Monroes and I told them I could get the Rancho shocks for under 600, and they could return those Monroes. I was told different things by the owner and employee initially. I was first told by an employee they didnt have them in when he ordered them that day. The owner then said they ordered Rancho but didnt know why Monroes were sent much less put on my truck. Later i was called by the employee explained they were damaged in shipping and Monroes were sent. They shpuld have never even been put on my truck if not the right parts. A week later they put on the Rancho for free, but it was their mistake and should have never put on the Monroe so of course it was free. However they put them on poorly and did not pull the boot socks down and zip tie them. I called Ranco and zip ties come in the kit. They just threw the boxes away and would not go look so i went to their dumpster and looked for rhe zip ties and stickers. I found one sticker. When I asked them to fix it properly I was ignored basically saying the owner was in a meeting and then sick, and the owner never did not call me. They didnt care they had been paid. Rancho is sending me the stickers and I bought the zip ties to finish the work myself. I feel like they took advantage of an out of town disabled vet with a brain injury and speech issues and I just cant believe they messed up so bad and truthfully didn't care because I paid them already.

Travis prioritizes customer service! I'm coming from out of state to buy a used vehicle, and need a pre-purchase inspection. He clearly explained everything that they usually do in that, gave me a fair upfront price, and he is squeezing me in to his schedule based on when I'm able to make the trip. If he's doing this for someone who is clearly not a regular or repeat customer, he must do an outstanding job for those in the area. I wish there were a garage like Gearhead near me!
