Went here because I had heard good reviews but once I got my quote back it seemed to be too high so I called around to other places and I found out they were going to charge me almost double and weren’t clear about the real damage to my car. So if you’re looking to go here, I’d try around other places before landing on this one.

This people don't know what they're doing! I went in to get my car tested since the engine was misfiring. They told me it was something in the engine and it would cost me a few thousand dollars to fix it. I decided not to go with it and they charge me 80 dollars so I paid them for nothing. I went to another place and the guy immediately found the problem. I wouldn't come back to this place ever. They're just ripping you off and over charging you as well.

I took my 2003 Toyota Pickup to another local shop and got a super high quote to redo my breaks. I heard about Genuine Automotive from a friend and thought I would give it a shot. It turned out that I just needed my drums and rotors turned. Genuine Automotive saved me a lot of money. Its a good size shop with great employees. I would definitely recommend them. Ask for Richard!

Questionable business ethics by upselling me stuff I not only did not need but actually had serviced less than 700 miles prior. Scheduled an appointment to help diag heim joint wear causing rattle. All they ended up doing is performing inspection — were reluctant to even quote me what I came for even though I was clear up front and they told me they could help. Sent me to another shop. The inspection also said fort and rear diff fluids need replaced. Too bad it was done 700 miles ago. Also said both inner tie rods were loose and needed replaced ASAP. Eh, I felt zero play and another shop that did alignment about 500 miles ago said nothing about tie rods being loose when they did custom alignment for me (very reputable local shop). So I paid an inspection fee only for them to not want to quote me on what I actually needed but rather trying to sell me on what I didn’t need. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing work!! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone who needs any work done on their vehicles. We had my husband welding truck's transmission rebuilt at a shop in Greeley, who literally did a hack job on it. To make matters worse it took them 3 weeks to do this hack job!!! Took his truck to this shop to get it looked over and they took the time to make notes of EVERY single mistake this other shop did, took pictures for us, showed my husband everything that was wrong and fixed everything for an amazing price!! His truck is running perfectly and looks amazing! These men are knowledgeable, quick, efficient and do everything for a great price. Highly recommend this place you will not be sorry!!

I have been bringing my car here for oil changes for years, and they are great. They do an online inspection that rates the health of your vehicle which lets you know of low fluids, brakes, etc. Their prices are reasonable, staff is very friendly and helpful, and I don't ever feel as if they are pushing repairs on me just to make some extra money. I would highly recommend them!

I originally took my vehicle into the jeep dealership to fix an electrical problem I was have with my jeep. I had explained where I suspected the issue would be and basically gave them a slam dunk fix. After several days of diagnostic which didn't include looking at where I suspected the issue was and then asking for an additional $500 to find the issue I took my car back and brought it to Genuine Automotive. I explained the same issue and told them where to find it and within a day they had the issue isolated and a solution at the ready. The key to this story is they listened and were able to fix the problem with out issue and saved me a lot of time and money. They were professional and even provided a full diagnostic of what they checked besides the electrical problem which gave recommendations, but it never felt pushy. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you!

Jim, the service writer was fantastic, and helpful, and the mechanic, Rich was very knowledgeable and insightful. I needed some work done on my Subaru, and I'm quite impressed with the job. The labor was reasonably priced, and the parts weren't marked up unreasonably either. I was able to speak with the mechanic that personally worked on my car, and he gave me reasonable recommendations, even if it meant taking it somewhere else (advanced exhaust problem). The best part of the experience, was a text message I received with a link to the service write-up for the car. It showed 5 main categories (Suspension, Brakes, General Maintenance, etc.) and showed how the mechanic scored the car, with each specific point of inspection, inside the relevant category. Not only that, but on the points the car scored poorly, there was a picture that the mechanic took and uploaded to the form, complete with highlighting on the specific concern, that told what the problem was, and what the recommended fix was. I received a text telling me the car was done. As I was pulling out of the parking lot, I sat in my repaired car, with a smile on my face. I will definitely be returning to Genuine Auto next time I need work done, and I couldn't recommend the shop high enough.

I really love this auto shop. I brought my car to them for a second opinion after another (unnamed) auto shop gave me a quote. Genuine auto essentially showed me that the other folks were charging me double and essentially recommending double the amount of actually necessary work. Would 10/10 recommend going here.

Honest. Fair. Quality work. These guys are...in a word...fantastic! If you live in Fort Collins (or Northern Colorado for that matter) and you need any automotive repair/work/maintenance done, go to these guys. I have been using their services for years and the service, the customer service, the quality of work, etc. is always great. Fair pricing, extremely honest recommendations and suggestions...Don't go anywhere else. They really are fantastic.
