He has checked cars for me before buying, fixed cars for me he told me not to buy, given advice on how to fix something myself and ALWAYS asked before fixing something and ALWAYS done great work at a great price. I have had equal experiences with the gentlemen he has hired. No better mechanic for me.

They came highly recommended by a friend of their family. I have no idea if they can fix a car or not, they very possibly are great mechanics but I will not be taking my car back there to find out after the way that I was treated by one of the mechanics on the phone. I took my car in to be worked on and the guy at the front desk was a very elderly gentleman, very sweet but didn't seem really in tune. He seemed more like someone's Dad who just putters around the shop. I tried to talk to him about my warranty information but I could tell he wasn't really taking it in. So, I called them after I got home, trying to ensure that they had the info they needed, the guy that I talked to was so rude, sarcastic and condescending that I was spitting fire by the time I got off the phone. I went in and picked my car up and will not be back. They obviously have all of the business they can handle if they can afford to treat customers like that.

Very honest and good friendly people!!! Always answer all your questions and upfront about their answers. Had my daughter take her car there to have front ball joint looked at found a loose bolt. They tighted it. Called us and told us that's what it was. No charge. Had other work done quotes are right on the money. Never the ohh..well we found this wrong also and had to do this game. Now it cost more then quoted.Great auto shop and great people. Highly recommend!!!

I appreciated that they were able to get my vehicle in and serviced, and that they were able to handle the part I needed replaced for less than the dealership. it wasn't a lot less, but it was enough to explore the recommendation. I'm grateful they didn't do anything extra, and they didn't modify their quote, or their time estimate. It was done when they said it should be done, and for the price they quoted. I will return. This was only my first interaction, so I don't have the decades of interaction to lean on. Hopefully I'm not in Fort Wayne for decades as that would likely mean the rest of my life.

This is the best shop ever. When I moved to town I asked around for a good dependable repair shop. A lot of people referred me to George's. I will use only them. They do excellent work, and a very fair competitive price. I have all the faith in the world in them. It is nice to find an honest shop that you can count on. I recently had an emergency repair that they took care of 1/2 hour before close, as I was driving out of town. Can't say enough. 10 stars if possible. The best.

I took my 2007 F-150 in after getting an inaccurate diagnosis from a local (not Ford) dealership. The mechanic at George’s was able to quickly diagnose the issue and suggested replacing my HVAC Control Unit. I am super pleased with how much time they spent explaining what the issue was and providing cost-effective solutions. I highly recommend them!

I was recommended George's by a dear friend. After living in Fort Wayne for 12+ years, always having older cars, and visiting over a dozen of the local garages, I think I have finally found my go-to spot. I brought in an older vehicle throwing codes and asked them to take a look, not expecting much. They were very diligent in their review and kept me updated throughout the day. Ultimately, they suggested me to a specialized shop up the road. They also pointed out some things that I was entirely unaware of. At no point did I feel pressured or that they were trying to take advantage. Truly an honest shop full of good people. I will continue to bring my vehicles here and recommend them to friends and family.

They have always done good work with a fair price. They always stand behind the work they do. They did and estimate on my Armada and was honest and told me the repairs would cost more than the vehicle was worth. Only charged me for the for a diagnostic fee. I highly recommend them.
