omgosh where do i even start…this shop completely ruined my trust and service after the outstanding amounts of work their new estimator, Jennifer, put in to my insurance company of her judgments that were only based on the judging of my car (mind you which is why i wanted it serviced by them in the first place), then her judgments of myself and who i am, she reported false claims of being suspicious to her opinion..? i’ve never EVER in my life felt like this place didn’t want my business. the judgment i felt by her considering i am a black woman with a car that needs paint work done. mind you i was waiting for an appt with them for 6 months after speaking to their former last estimator Ulie who gave me the best service and the most comfortability (rip to him 🫶🏽). his passing has placed Jennifer in charge and upon bringing my car into the shop for my appointment (6 months later) she decides to re open the estimate and proceeds with the above described behavior. absolutely unprofessional and speaks to her true colors as she made it personal and not about business. disgusted.

Just purchased car that was repaired at Gerber auto repair and the badge fell off. No wonder it fell off they repaired it with double sided tape. Avoid this shop they do horrible work. Also the paint on the door actually has air bubbles still in the paint. Update: spoke with manager today and he explained everything that happened and the employee that did the repair was removed. Very understanding and now I will try service with them in the future

Being a younger driver and never having to go through a claim for full coverage was very simple with them. Beth helped me every way possible went way out of her way to help me! They have a great team! If i ever need body work I would bring it back. 10/10 they were awesome. I had a audi a7 that need some extensive repairs and I had a slight oil leak and they topped it off everytime they moved it just to make sure it was good. *Update was told I was okay to bring new rims and tires for a alignment and it was included in my progressive claim. I was actually billed for my alignment and wasnt able to get my car a week later and I had to pay out of pocket because of this. And to find out they cant even aline my AUDI because of there tools.

I had a great experience with Gerber collision. They fixed a dent near my third brake light on my Tacoma and they also repainted my tailgate where there was a scratch down to the metal. They did everything in a very timely matter and called with updates every week to let me know how things were going. I received my truck once it was finished and they not only fixed it but also detailed and buffed all the scratches out of it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very happy with the service we recently received at Gerber. While the insurance company unfortunately decided to total our vehicle, Gerber was friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. They worked with us to keep our vehicle until the audio equipment could be pulled out, and quickly jumped the battery when we went to get it for the final time. Thanks for the great customer service!

There service is really bad. They said two/three weeks,it's going on five/six weeks and still haven't gotten it back. They send Tuesday and Thursday updates that really don't tell you what going on. Like your van is tore apart and we found a couple brackets broken. That would have worked for me but it took two weeks to get" sorry it's taking me longer it was a larger repair than thought. A week later after putting in the 2nd claim my van was totaled by the insurance company. Now they have the van apart, it's been a week and I'm still trying to get my van back that I bought back from the insurance company. Like I said before five to six weeks now and it still has not been touched....can you imagine how long it would take if they keep it to fix it. I would not recommend this company if it's your only vehicle...,..Alright took 6 weeks to get my van back and this repair shop broke things and tried to get my insurance company to pay for them.....bad business....They even left one of the broken parts on my dash so I could figure out where it goes myself....bad business.... they can't tell me a deer snapped off clips from the inside door panel. And here's the biggest thing of all My Tow Strap is missing and staple gun is missing out of the van.... Beware not a good place .

I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received from start to finish! I visited the Muskegon, MI location on Sternberg. I received constant communication about the status of my car. My car was done earlier than anticipated so that was a bonus. The repairs seem to be flawless. They even cleaned front floor mats and the cargo area mat! I will use Gerber again in the future if I have the need and will highly recommend them! Thank you all for a job well done! Gerber has locations across the country, so it’s safe to say the rating of each shop is a huge reflection of the staff at that location. This location is staffed with absolute professionals. I’ve mainly worked with Brad...he is top notch. My interactions with everyone from the receptionist all the way up to the regional manager, Jason, have been outstanding. My 2016 WRX has been in the shop twice and both times I have left knowing these people value my business and truly want me to leave as a happy customer. They go above and beyond to make sure your damaged car is made whole. Can’t recommend this shop and it’s staff enough. 5 stars for service and I owe them a huge thank you for the empathy they deploy. Excellent job!

Great customer service and communication. I also think they did great work repairing my vehicle after we were rear ended. They took care of just about everything, making it easy for me. They also stayed in constant contact with me, keeping me updated on the progress. The only reason I'm rating them 4 stars out of 5 (instead of the full 5) is because of the amount of time I had to wait to get my vehicle in for repairs, which was completely understandable and out of their hands, especially during winter in Michigan. Overall, a great experience.

I was so pleased with Gerber! When I was in my accident, they looked my car over even though they were minutes from closing, took pictures, and screwed it back together until I could get my car in. Once I was able to get my car in, the process was so smooth and the communication was excellent in regards to updating me with what was going on as well as communicating with insurance and my rental car place so that I didn't have to. They made getting your car repaired so so easy, everyone was super friendly, and my car looks great! I hope my car doesn't get in an accident again, but I'd be back in a heartbeat if it did!

FIRST OFF, I WANT TO GIVE THE MANAGER, BRAD S. A 10 STAR RATING!!!!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!! For having the Most patience in the world! My son wrecked his Toyota Supra and caused extensive damage to the front end, which required almost 200 parts to be replaced! Due to his car being rare in this area, it took many special parts to complete the job. We worked with Brad for over 6 months trying to receive the parts we needed to get my son back on the road. Gerber staff were always polite, professional and Brad would call me with weekly updates on the repairs and status of ordered parts. He even tried to spare my feelings around my wedding and honeymoon time, so I wouldn’t receive bad news of a tow company causing damage to the vehicle and part delays. ♥️😆. I never heard a drop of irritation in Brad’s voice, not once during the entire six months!! I would highly recommend Gerber on Sternberg Road for your collision service repair needs. They have a lifetime warranty on their repairs. Also, Gerber previously repaired my bumper on another vehicle I own. Other places in town tried to say I needed an entire new bumper replacement. So, I would say Gerber is also trustworthy and offered me cost effective solutions for my repair. I will definitely use their services again and again in the future. I wish I could give zero stars. Gerber Collision had my car for about five weeks. They did not fix all of the repairs that they were supposed to and that my insurance paid them to fix on my way home after they told me they made repairs and my car was good to go I Had to pull the Emergency brake because I had zero pedal/brakes at all, so they did not do a safety check on my vehicle at all and didn’t fix major issues. I have major engine problems as well that they did not fix so now my car is on its way to a different shop. I Recommend you do not take your car to Gerber Collision. They are trash. Do not care about your safety , lie and try to scam insurance companies And customers.

While the staff were friendly, and did their best, they get a 3, because if the front staff had not been it would have been a 1. They installed the wrong parts on my vehicle, if I had not noticed they would have just let me go and never said anything because either they were trying to scam or no one was paying attention to what was being installed. Then on top of it the part they installed was defective and needed to be replaced anyway. While they did correct their mistakes it did take more time away for me and the use of my vehicle. The work itself seems fine, paint and finish, but the front staff, mainly Beth, saved this overall experience.

Wife called and asked if she could have her car towed here for repair, explained exactly what the issue was and was told they could take care of it. Car was towed to Gerber, they informed us they in fact could not do the repair and then charged us to have the car towed next door to My Auto Import. Friendly but terrible way to take care of a customer for their mistake. Will definitely stick with Caliber Collision in the future.

Jennifer was great. I got updates on my truck every Tuesday and Thursday as promised. I was told call anytime with questions and never had an issue. All concerns were heard and taken care of. When I showed up to pick my truck up, after waiting 7 weeks for the repairs, Jennifer took time to walk around the truck with me and go over all the details. I am happy I brought it to Gerber so far. I haven’t noticed anything that wasn’t done right yet, but they say the work has a lifetime warranty if there are any issues with their work. Awesome customer service, Jennifer. Thank you!
