I had my car repaired there at nick orso’s about 4 years ago after someone plowed into the side of my car. i know the shop has since changed ownership but I’m sharing my experience regardless. I was sold a premium experience but I immediately had to return there because my fender alignment was off(mind you this was a minor collision repair). They “fixed it” but I noticed almost immediately it still wasn’t right, I figured it wasn’t worth the effort to go back again so I’ve lived with it like that all these years. Now the rust, they have lifetime guarantee on their work. Come to find out that my door is rusting where some of the body work was performed. I called Nulook for assistance and they refused to help, I repaired it myself but I can tell they didn’t prep the area correctly as the bondo kept the rust from showing through for a few years. Not to worry just took a few beers and some paint but I won’t be returning, they should do it right the first time. They charged premium prices but did not provide premium service.

Daughter is attending Syracuse and was in minor wreck. Being in Alabama didn't know anything local. Called Gerber and Will, Brian and their amazing crew took Great care of us. Car looks Amazing and we're completely satisfied. Location was also key. Close to campus and Enterprise is basically across the street. Hopefully won't need them anytime soon, but would definitely use them again if needed.

I had a flat tire and pulled into Nu Look Collision, called my husband and he came down to put on the spare. It wasnt long before James Roberts and another Nu Look employee came out to offer help. They took my car in and fixed asap. I cant say enough about them and how nice they were. As an aside, my son had body work done here around 3 months ago and they did a fantastic job and communicated with me throughout the process. Five stars!!

Wow! Great service! We had a fender bender, and tried new look for the repairs. On-site rental, and we got our cat back looking like new. They even detailed the inside at no additional cost! I am definately bring my other car in! My car feels brand new again!

I had an accident and hit a deer. I went there because of the location being close to downtown and a block away from my insurance agent. They repaired the damage done by the deer. My jeep looks better than it did before it was hit. They also said it would take about 4 weeks. They had it done in 2 weeks. And to put the icing on the cake. I was gonna bring it back at a later time to repair a dent in the drivers side door that was unrelated to the accident. They straightened it up for me and didn't even charge me for it. You can best believe I'll be sending every one I know there. I had a friend in the auto body business that retired. I didn't think there was anybody around like him anymore. I was wrong.

Was instructed to rent a car from Gerber through Hertz. Reservation was made two weeks in advance. Two hours before we were supposed to pick it up Gerber calls and leaves a message "sorry - we don't have the vehicle you reserved" we can give you this other one as a substitute (one that wouldn't work for us). I give a call and no one picks up the phone after multiple calls - just rolls over to the national number. I then call the Gerber number. Person who answers says "Hertz doesn't do business here". I explain that I have a confirm with their name and address and he says "this is Gerber not Hertz". I then ask why would Hertz give me your address? Then he changes his story and says "oh - Hertz rents a desk from me in my office, but I don't know anything that they do". I explained that I was under a time crunch and asked if he could transfer me to them because their number isn't working. He says "nope - not by company". I asked if he was the franchisee of Gerber, and he said no "I'm the office manager". It would have taken him 30 seconds to yell over to the "person who rents a desk in my office" that he didn't know existed at the beginning of the call. I realize management will probably leave a comment of "we are two separate entities" and I get that, but it is still Gerber's name on the door and it reflects very poorly on them. If I was in need of glass or collision repair this interaction would cause me to look elsewhere.

I was referred to Nu-Look Collision in Syracuse by my insurance company, for which Nu-Look is a certified repair shop -- which makes everything convenient. That said, they were absolutely fantastic, and I'd recommend them for any body work you need done. I drive an old Honda Accord, with about 120k miles on it --- not a fancy car, but one that needs to last. Nu-Look not only found the repair parts at prices that avoided totaling my old car, but my kids all said that the car now looks years younger. They even detailed and cleaned the car -- outstanding value and outstanding service.

I was pleased with the service right up until the day my car was supposed to be done. After not hearing from them by early afternoon I called to get a time frame to pick up my vehicle. I was told that the tech working on my car had left due to a sick child and that no one else would be completing so my car probably wouldn’t be done until the following day. So not only was my car not going to be ready on time, but they couldn’t be bothered to call and tell me. I can only hope the techs situation is resolved quickly or who knows when I’ll get my car by.

I was pleasantly surprised by how honest, professional and efficient the service was at the Syracuse location. Although I failed to make an appointment, I was accommodated on a lunch break, my vehicle was serviced quickly and I was treated with respect. The level of professionalism displayed and honesty about my vehicle’s needs was exactly what gained a new returning customer. As a young female, I know how intimidating tending to auto care needs can be. I appreciated knowing I can trust the staff and feel that I wasn’t being misled. Great job! I got in a fender bender and was referred to Orso's through my insurance provider to get my car fixed. I was very impressed with their communication, speed, and quality of work. Chris updated me on my car and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He even brought up some maintenance I may want to get done soon to keep my car in good condition. You can't even tell my bumper was hit now! It looks fantastic. They also cleaned my car up quite a bit which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise! I highly recommend this place for all collision issues and car fixes. Such lovely staff!

I dropped my vehicle with them before reading a negative review someone posted about charging high and doing average job. I discussed my concerns with them and was assured they have improved the quality of their services. I needed my car fixed urgently because Davidson Collision kept it for 2 weeks and turned around to say they don’t have the equipment to fix it.. Gerber said they can do it and are looking at a one month time. Just 3 weeks later my SUV was ready. Took it home and I received an email for feedback on how they did . I said they were great but 95% satisfied. They told me to bring back my car and they can make it a 100%. I was hesitant because I live in Watertown, but they said they will provide a rental for free. I took back my car and they made it beautiful like brand new in about a week due to outsourcing the calibration professionall. Thanks to the Lady supervisor in their repair shop. for making sure I was completely happy. She rejected my $50 tip after giving me my good car.

I recently had my vehicle repaired at Gerber Collision, and while the repair itself was ultimately completed, the overall experience left much to be desired. The process was extremely slow, with numerous delays—some within their control and others not. What was especially frustrating was being told several times that the car was "almost ready," only for new delays to pop up again and again. To make matters worse, communication was lacking throughout. I often had to call multiple times a day just to get someone on the phone for an update, which added unnecessary stress to an already inconvenient situation. A particularly disappointing moment came after the initial repair was supposedly finished—I had to bring the car back because a part had gone missing and needed to be reordered. This obviously extended the timeline even more. One major downside worth noting: Gerber does not provide a loaner vehicle, which is a big deal if your insurance doesn’t include rental coverage. Many dealerships offer a loaner for long-term repairs, so if you don’t have that rental option, you may want to consider going elsewhere. That said, there was one positive takeaway—a GM at the location acknowledged the issues and personally reached out with updates, which I appreciated. When I had to bring the car back a second time, they also arranged for a loaner vehicle, which helped alleviate some of the inconvenience. In summary: while the repair got done and there was a sincere effort at the end to make things right, the poor communication, repeated delays, and lack of a loaner vehicle policy made this a frustrating experience overall. There’s definitely room for improvement in how they manage timelines and customer communication.

My downstairs neighbor backed into my drivers door and left a $3100 Dent I later came to find out by my adjuster and scratch. Insurance handled it and I picked it up today and BABY!!!!😌🤌 GERBER DID THEY THING WITH CAMI DA CAMRY🥰🥰 she looks amazing I had the biggest grin on my face when they pulled her outta the garage. The staff was amazing they worked with me financially, professional from day one until the finish. Very welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better job. It looks like it's fresh off the lot. HORRIBLE customer service, shop never informed me they leave customer vehicles unlocked throughout the day and I had over $300 in tools, an OBD2 scan tool and a few other small things stolen from my truck. Never once was I informed to remove any valuables from my vehicle. Called the shop to express my concerns and make a suggestion to maybe vocally inform customers in the future to avoid anything like this from happening again in case they don’t see a sign on the front desk? I sure didn’t see it! 0/10 would never and will never recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for body work or repair work done.

Absolutely horrible experience. Someone hit me, my car clearly needed collision repair, insurance sent my car here, my car was here for about a month. They said they would text me updates I called several times got sent to voicemail, never got calls back never got texts about my car. Finally I got through to them and told them I hadn't been receiving updates, they read a number to me and it was not even remotely close to my phone number. They said it would be ready next week. I called the next week they said it was ready and everything was all good to go so, I went and picked it up and dropped off my rental, I received charges from the rental company the week after I returned the car as Gerber had told me to do, rental company said they were never notified I returned the car. Then called Gerber back and told them there was humming that wasn't there before in the rear on the side that got hit (had it checked briefly by someone else they said a wheel barring or something to do with the wheel that got hit). Called them back, very rude who I spoke to, said that I was wrong they fixed everything there isn't any humming. Called them back after I had the first guy look at it and they said oh we can look at it again I said nope I was taking it to another shop to get looked at since they said I was wrong the first time. They said they would email me the list that the mechanic fixed that they sent it out to, never got that. Got it looked at by another shop, and Gerber didn't fix anything didn't replace the tire that got hit, didn't do the alignment, didn't even do the paint job correctly. They handed me a paper that listed everything they "did" but clearly didn't do since the other shop handed me another list of all the things they found still wrong with it in relation to the accident. These people are rude, don't care about their customers and definitely do not do their jobs right. Do not go here.

This is the worst place to take your car to because I had an accident and my insurance told to there and I have my car December 26 and waited more then a month and no update from them about their service or when the Vehicle then last week they call and told me the car is done and ready to be picked and I want to there this morning to get the car and when I turn the on, It sounds so bad and loud and I have told them the beginning when I was dropping off the car and The person who took the key from and he said that he will take of it and the still sound the same. Soo disappointed from December26 until now nothing was completed the way to supposed to be
