Won't body shop EVER. My roommates car was supposed to be done in 2 month. We are now 4 months out and they keep giving him stupid reasons why his cars not done. Last week they said it was done at paint and would be the first car put back together now they are saying its gonna be another whole. DO NOT use this place if you want to have your car back anytime soon.

Be sure to get multiple estimates from this place and also other places to compare! We got 2 different quotes from this place for the same problem. Took our car somewhere else and it was much better, more transparent than this place.

vehicle was wrecked 2 days before Thanksgiving, after a week of it sitting in impound the body shop finally got it. They told me "we will send an update every week, usually on Tuesday afternoons" not once have I gotten an update without me asking! I send an email and replies cone back 2-3 days later!! last I heard 2 weeks ago they were waiting for parts... I have even emailed to ask a question like did they find a covid vaccine card in the car... and didnt even get a reply. I had to send a 2nd message. The communication absolutely sucks!! wondering how the work being done is going to end up. I'm not very positive. I am contacting the insurance to let them know they should NOT use this place as a "preferred bodyshop" its now Jan 5th.... still no info on the car since a couple weeks ago and no estimate when it will even be done!

I made an appointment for 8 am for an estimate and when I arrived at my appointed time, the office was closed. I found a person in the back (the parts person) and he let me in the office, saying the office guys seem to be running late. I waited about 10 minutes and then someone shows up. I tell him I am here for an appointment for an estimate and he looks in the computer. He asked when I made the appointment and I tell him on Friday. He looks some more and then tells me since the appointment was made Friday evening, there was nobody available to check the appointments and the person who does the estimates will not be available until 9 am. I told him I received emails confirming the appointment and he said there's nothing he can do. I called corporate to complain and they apologized and said they will notify the GM of the office. I got a call back from Ethan with an apology and wanting to know if I would like to reschedule. I took time off to make this appointment. It will take time to try to reschedule. Gerber Collision need to ensure this does not happen again, because you lost a customer.

Our work and family car has been in there for over 2 WEEKS and forced us to pay for a rental car out of our own pocket and THEY STATE they are waiting for parts as our bills pill up on our rental car. VERY UNIMPRESSED WITH THEIR SERVICE, both with their communication and their service!!! As of now I am MOST UNIMPRESSED with Gerber Collision and do NOT recommend since they can't even give us a time and date when we can pick up our car!!!

They gave me a low quote to get me in the door then called with a new quote that was 2000 over the original once my car was in the shop. I canceled half the work on the original phone call about the new quote then thought it over for 15 minutes and decided that I'd cancel the repair due to the new inflated bid. Called 15 later to cancel but had to leave a message saying to cancel and that I'd pickup the truck the next morning. Showed up to pickup my truck and they claimed they didn't get my message and the truck was disassembled and if I canceled the repair they would have to charge me labor and parts return. I decided not to loose my money and just get it done since I'm a customer pay guy and I wasn't going to pay for nothing to be done. You could say they tricked me pretty good start to finish and if you're paying out of pocket I would never suggest these guys. There too busy running up prices on insurance companies and do the same tricky stuff to cash customers. All in all I believe I was bait and switched and didn't have the time or energy to argue with them. They did a great job on the repair though for all it's worth. AVOID IF SELF PAY

Good lord! What a frustrating place to deal with. My car was in a fairly minor rear end collision at the beginning of the year. I was on the phone with the insurance company the same day to start the repair process. It took a couple months to get an appointment for an estimate, then a couple more months to get an appointment for repair. I get it, labor shortage, parts shortage....things take longer. Fine. But then when my car comes in for the long awaited appointment, it sits...and sits...for almost 2 more months at the repair facility. They didn't touch it or look at it. When they eventually did look at my car they declared it totaled. The new estimate is drastically higher then the one i previously received. All of the damage on this new estimate was visible the first time i brought it in. At this point the insurance company wants me to bring back the rental car and accept a payment. But when I said i wanted to retain my car, gerber collision insisted it would take at least another week to put it back together. After a short conversation with the insurance adjuster my car was magically ready to go within a couple hours. Additionally, everytime i called to get an estimate on my car, no one knew what was happening with it. They alway had some excuse, like "its my first day" or " the insurance adjuster is the inly ine who knows what its status is, and they aren't here". How much employee turnover do they have that i talked to 3 new people during 4 calls? The bottom line is that this company doesn't have much respect for their customers or their time.

This place was recommended for my husband's challenger after an accident. They could not complete repairs and asked him to take it home, as the wrong stripe was ordered. It has been two weeks. There is no stripe on that side, and we have made MULTIPLE calls to that location. While the work that is done looks good, the fact that it is incomplete, that communication is not happening both ways and that the repair itself took weeks of them having possession of the vehicle prior to the repair (damaged side) all means that I cannot recommend this company at all.

So, to start, I just bought a car and within a week someone decided to key the front fender. I was sent to them by my insurance. Well, Ethan took a look at it, had me wait a moment, and had Loren come out and polish it up. Lo and behold they managed to take care of me on the spot no questions asked! They were kind and professional and by far the best customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. I’d highly recommend them and I will be recommending them to friends and family. I’d also like to thank the ladies at the front. They were super professional and very easy going (even offering coffee) which makes unnecessarily stressful things like this a bit easier. Thank you!

How does this take so long if the parts are there.. The car is there.... ? So you are telling me that when I call no one but the estimator can tell me how its going and if my car is being worked on? Its not in the computer? You cant look in the shop and tell me its been taken apart? It has been in the parking lot sitting there for days/weeks. The parts are all in. They have been in for a couple of months. Get it together Gerber. Anyone should be able to tell me if the car is in process. Also you could always start a car on the day your appt is made, get it done, then start the next car. Instead of people going and estimated two months without their vehicle... because....??? You have all you need right there to fix it. I will write another review when I get my car back. So far it looks like a lot of people are one star review this place as of late.

First off, I never write reviews! But I just had to for Gerber Collision. This Gerber Collision location is the best! Someone had hit my car on the way to WA where I was planning on visiting my family and I had a very tight timeline to get repairs. I had gone to about 3 auto repair shops around Olympia who all told me that they couldn't fit me in before my departure date. Luckily, one of the shops recommended that I swing by Gerber. I met Ethan, Jenni, and Sharon--all who took care of me and my car. They told me that they could get me my car in 2 weeks and they got it to me in about 6 days, just a day before Christmas Eve! I was literally in shock. Not only that, they were extremely understanding about my insurance claims (as it was my first time getting into a car accident and I had no idea what I was doing). In addition, when I went to pick up my car, I had hit some awful traffic on the way but Jenni and Ethan hung out at the store an extra 15 minutes after closing time so that I could get my car! In short, these folks went above and beyond their jobs. My car looks incredible and the staff were so helpful, patient, and reliable.

WONDERFUL and honest. ….easy to schedule, friendly front office staff. My vehicle was finished when they said it would be. Looks like new and you can’t tell where the work was done. When I got home. Who ever vacuumed the inside , found my wife’s missing 1/2 ct diamond earring on a platinum post. Placed it in the empty coin bin. That doesn’t happen these days. Thank you for finding and returning it.

the best thing this place has going is the receptionist. i was amazed that they could do the work they did for such a low price. i own a business and i don't see how this place makes any money no wonder they have so many problems. Anyway over all no complaints on the work Manship.

They were really friendly, thorough and got me in really quickly. Although they are booking out 4 months they were nice about the whole thing. I had originally talked to the other Gerber collision in Tumwater which is actually much closer to my home, but they were so rude about everything and just gave that indication that they were completely overworked and underpaid the whole time I talked to them (at the Tumwater facility) that I went to the Olympia location instead and very glad I did. Their office was super clean and quiet and they did not give off the appearance they were slammed or something the whole time. Very professional.
