Was involved in my first accident ever, being hit from behind and the driver kept going. My insurance recommended Gerber to me to have them fix my car. Oh my goodness, they could not have chosen a better repair place for me! The team was so professional and thorough in fixing my car! The receptionist was amazing as well! Recently used them for collision repair and my experience was awesome! Firstly, their customer service is really good. Secondly, I received text updates for status of my repairs which definitely takes off some of the worrying after dealing with a wreck. I was recommended by my insurance agent as part of claim for repairs. Insurance agent sent claim and vehicle info to Gerber in advance of my appointment. I Myself called 3 days before to schedule appointment and informed office representative that my vehicle was a 1998 year model. Upon arriving for appointment I was immediately told by estimator that because my vehicle was 25 years old they would not fix it. Why couldn't I have been told this when I made the appointment? It sure would have been nice to had known ahead of time so that I could have looked for other body shops and not wasted my time. Good customer service and consideration of others is getting harder and harder to find these days.

Extremely friendly staff throughout all our interactions. They updated me as i was having alot of issues with my insurance after a crash. Very open and honest with me about my vehicle. I have used this location for a few insurance claims. Currently using for an incident involving my daughter’s car. She showed up to pick up the car based on the text update we received throughout the repair. She showed up and paid but then was told the car wasn’t ready and it would be at least a couple of more days. I called back up there and expressed my dissatisfaction. I requested to speak with the GM but he was offsite at a meeting/training but when he returned he would call me back. I’m then called their main office and filed a complaint and asked for someone in charge to call me. I ended up getting called back by the last person at this location I spoke to and provided me with an update on the part arriving on Thursday and they will notify me by phone when it’s ready for sure. The next day I received a call from the area manager and he took immediate ownership and said that he has addressed the importance of making sure customers are contacted because making arrangements to pick up a vehicle is difficult and for it not to be ready is very disappointing and impactful to their customers. I appreciated hearing that and it put me back into the mindset of being a valued customer vs another payout. Plus the quality of work here has always been top tier.

Brian promised 3 THREE times to call with an update on my vehicle. He was always at lunch when we called. Never returned our calls. Cost me an extra 2 days without a vehicle. As a realtor and a customer of State Farm this is just not acceptable. I spoke with the mgr. But no apologies to date. You had our name as “DWIGHT”. It’s Russell lance.

Such a quick and painless process! I had a large dent on the back of my suv that I was procrastinating to get fixed. They got me in same day for an estimate. I was able to drop off for repair a few days later and they had it completely done in just a few days. They worked directly with my insurance and I didn’t have to do anything but drop it off and pick it up! I got daily updates on the progress and they also notified Enterprise when I needed picked up for a rental and even got it returned for me. All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. I went to one Gerber collision location around the corner from my home and the receptionist was not friendly so I left. I called the North Thompson location and spoke with Chase. Needless to say not all Gerber locations are created equally. Chase was fantastic; I emailed him insurance documents and he took care of the rest.
