One of my cars was in an accident and based on the insurance recommendation, we used Gerber. From day one, we had nothing but headaches. For starters, it took over 10 days before they started work on the vehicle. They claimed it was due to some interface between their system and the insurance company. When we called to check on the status of the vehicle (multiple times), they were rude and condescending. When we finally got the vehicle back (after a month), we noticed a lot of issues with the electrical systems. It was as if they only did the superficial work and never even looked at other problems the accident could have caused. I have contacted my insurance company and have recommended this shop be removed from their list of recommended repair facilities. I've heard through the grapevine that my experience is par for the course. Basically, they do shotty work just to profit off of insurance claims. DO NOT USE GERBER!.

2 months ago my wife, I and 2 of our granddaughters were in Panama City Beach to scatter our late 44 yr old daughter, Katie's, ashes in the Gulf from a boat charter. After a long, emotional trip from West Tennessee, I pulled into an extremely narrow parking garage spot and and a sliding door on our Honda Odyssey had been left open. It hung on a concrete pillar and drove the door back off the track severely damaging the inner workings. Several nice guys helped and were able to get the door partly closed. I looked online and found Gerber collision and went there the next morning wondering how we would get home. 2 wonderful employees, Jason and Drew worked on it and were able to get it closed and latched so we could continue our trip. They would not accept any payment and were so helpful. Thank you again!

The reason I am giving as many as 3 stars is because they did actually make the repairs which looked good. My issue involves the stories I was told during the process including from the manager. I was initially told they would have my car a week. After a week I was told it was in for paint making me think just a few more days. Then I got a text saying it would be 3 more weeks so I called to get some answers and after finally speaking to the manager, Kevin, I was told that the Sorento has two bumper systems, a one piece and a two piece and the wrong one was sent and they can't find the correct one anywhere. These parts have numbers so I am all but positive, the wrong part was ordered. Over a month later it was finally done. Also there was a small amount of work they were supposed to fix from a previous repair they did and that was not done even after being assured it would be by the manager. I think a better job title would be "Excuse Representative". I would not recommend.

Do not use this place. If I could give negative reviews I would. They painted the door on my car and it looked decent. They were supposed to fix my car seat and did not. After 4 months of waiting I can't even get a phone call returned. I call them and everytime they say they they will call me back and never do. Once I was told my insurance denied the claim. I said okay fine I will pay out of pocket. Still no return phone call. This place is a joke and I hope they go out of business

I would just like to say how thankful I am for the team at Gerber Collision. Yesterday, I was rear-ended while vacationing from Michigan with my family. The accident caused significant damage to the hatch door of my Blazer and the window was completely busted. Feeling somewhat helpless after the accident, I reached out to Gerber and they said I could bring my car in to get it crash-wrapped. I was immediately helped by John who kindly vacuumed the glass out of the vehicle and placed crash wrap where the rear window was. John was very empathetic to my situation and when I asked how much it cost he graciously said there was no charge at all. Thank you to John and the rest of the team who helped me feel a bit safer and more comfortable with driving my damaged vehicle back home to Michigan!

Horrible experience and the staff are liars. Scheduled to have my car repaired starting on December 20th for a repair I was told would take 1 week, On February 26th work has finally been completed. I'm told because they kept ordering the wrong parts but the manager insists that ordering the wrong parts repeatedly isn't a mistake that's just how auto body works. Meanwhile, my insurance stopped paying for a rental car on January 20th so Gerber's mistakes cost their clients money. When confronted with these things the manager Jeremy lied multiple times and treated me like I was being unreasonable. Gerber employs liars and incompetents and I would never recommend them. Gerber management,Jeremy has No business in customer service. Response to owner. Untrue. All communications have been initiated by me, just yesterday I had to stop in because my cars twilight fell out while driving because Gerber collision didn't put the screws back in. Service there is a disaster front to back.

Gerber Collision & Glass repair was extremely helpful and friendly. My wife and I both were in fender benders and needed someone who could give us an honest estimate of the damage as well as turn around time to have our cars fixed. Gerber Collision looked at both of our vehicles the same day we called, laid everything out for us in a way that was easy to understand and extremely honest when it came to turn around time as well as how things with insurance would work. We were involved in a hit and run while on vacation in Panama. Our Insurance sent us here for an estimate and to see if they could help secure front bumper for safety reasons for the trip home. This has been the most wonderful experience! A deer ran out in front of me while leaving Panama City Beach on my way to Nashville, TN. The repairs were handled as if I were just down the road rather than 8 hours away. Jessica Childree had contacted me consistently with updates to the truck making me feel completely at ease! She was professional, friendly and efficient. She even helped me with transportation from the airport. (Thank you Jennifer.) This repair was done in a timely fashion and looks great! We drove into your busy parking lot expecting to simply get a quote for some staining we wanted professionally cleaned. We NEVER expected you to personally come out just minutes later and fix the discoloration right then and there! After running over debris on Hathaway Bridge in Panama City Beach my front bumper became partially detached. Man what can't I say I had a small accident on April 22. A few days later I'm getting a call from April at Gerber saying they got my car and are ready to start, I just need to sign off. Jeff the awesome guy that took us in said we would be in great hands and wow! For me to get my car back in two and a half weeks and it look like nothing ever happened to it!
