I had a small job, my hood needed to be stripped and re-painted. They did a very good job, and matched almost perfectly, 15 year old paint. The staff was polite and informative. I cannot speak highly enough about this shop. I brought my truck in after extensive water damage had occurred. My truck was ultimately deemed totaled but Katie went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease with the process. She called me several times with every update from the insurance company. Very professional and above anything else she’s kind! To say I was devastated over my truck being totaled is an understatement. I would recommend anyone to use this shop!

This poor review is not for the shop itself but for their call center. I made an appointment for an estimate on a certain day and time. Drove an hour away for them to tell me there was no appointment made. Drove an hour back with a car that is falling into pieces risking lives and having to make the trip again (hopefully the appointment is scheduled this time).

I highly recommend Body Builders. They did an excellent job in repairing the damage done from a wreck with another car. They estimated 10 working days to repair and their estimate was accurate plus they called every two days to keep us informed of the progress. I had an excellent experience with Body Builders. They not only did a beautiful job of repairing my auto body issues, but they detailed the car inside and out, including the engine. They had the car longer than expected due to insurance delays and parts ordering, but it was worth the wait for the job they did. Service was excellent from intake to pickup, with regular communications in between. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

What an excellent experience. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. My vehicle was ready when promised and the repairs were flawless, including the paint job. They went above and beyond with customer service including update phones calls on the status of my car. They me offered rides to my work and even rescued me at closing time when the car rental company no showed with my rental car. My car was cleaned inside and out upon pick up. They took the time to explain all the repairs done. If you are looking for a reputable repair shop, you wont find a better one.

My Camry speaks for itself. Paint matches so perfectly that no matter how hard I try, I cant find anything wrong with it. No orange peel, overspray etc. I wish all shops were as good as body builders. They'll get my business every time

Gerber on Industrial drive does fabulous work! They proved it to me again in my latest visit. I have a 15+ year old car and they find a way to perfectly match paint and make the car look like it's never had a dent! It didn't take too long to repair both the front and rear bumpers. Communication throughout the process was frequent and they never left me wondering where we were in the repair process. Everything was worked efficiently through my insurance company. All these reasons are why I've been taking my car to them for repairs for many, many years.

They did repair work on my car after a wreck and it did look good, however the main issue I brought up wasn’t addressed as they said they couldn’t “replicate the problem” but it was the first thing I noticed when I got it back. (They called and asked to have it dropped off because it was convenient for them. I wasn’t able to pick the car up and the person who picked it up for me is too nice for confrontation so he didn’t say anything) I called back and they really just didn’t help. Won’t be coming back for mechanical work but they do a good job with body work and the pricing is actually good compared to other shops.

Has got to be the WORST place in Tallahassee to take your car. The manager had the nastiest, most disrespectful, lazy, rude attitude I’ve ever dealt with, it was almost unbelievable how unprofessional they were. The whole crew matched that energy: lazy, careless, and completely unhelpful. And get this, they didn’t even bother to put my car back together correctly. When I brought it to the dealership, they told me flat-out that Gerber had “half-assed” the job and left my car basically thrown together. Who does that?! Paying for service and getting back a vehicle in worse shape is outrageous. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration, this place is an absolute disaster. Worst experience ever.

I am not happy with my any of my time here. My car was wrecked in July by an idiot twenty-year-old without insurance. I understood that my car wouldn’t be quite right from where it was, and overlooked how things were slightly askew. I was willing to overlook that I had to pop the right front bumper back into place, not really being the best advocate for myself in this situation. I was even willing to over look that when i got the car the electrical systems were unplugged rendering the windows and mirrors useless. Having said that this situation has progressed, and I decided to see if they would honor the warranty on the work that had been done. Katie was very pleasant and told me all the things that would normally be reassuring, that it would take 15 minutes and it should be an easy fix. I get a phone call that I’m then told the warranty won’t be covered because I must have driven over something and it ripped the brackets (that I suspect were never installed) off. Keep in mind that I drive to work and home, this is a car with under 20 k miles on it and I am then given a quote of 1344.07 to have a new bumper installed. I have pictures that the work was always shoddy or haphazardly installed, slightly askew. I get they don’t want to honor the warranty so be warned when taking your vehicle to this company. I was inclined to do this because my insurance covered this place, outside of that if you can find a different body shop by all means go to it. As an Update I have also contacted my insurance company. I have remained highly suspicious of the work that was completed. Update I have added pictures from yesterday when I drove home. I showed a family member who works in auto repair, he confirmed that this looks like no clips were added
