Very rude and very unprofessional went get estimates done on my car because I am trying get fixed the best I can CO of the company and receptionist got mad because I said I didn’t want full work and can they fixed main issue I need fixed I can not afford everything yet instead of being understand they did not want to service me not mentioned made slick comments about pricing being out of my budget I am single mom of two kids one year old and 5 year I am sorry I don’t have 1613 to afford everything my budget was between 800-1000 never had this problem before with them I just find it very rude and unprofessional of y’all getting mad because I can’t afford full service and only one my power steering fixed first then come back for others to be fixed

I had freeze plugs that needed to be replaced. RJ worked with me on the cost and, even with an unexpected part replacement, stayed true to the estimate. In fact, the final bill was only a dollar and change over the estimate. What more can you ask for? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys due to their integrity, courtesy, empathy, and technical knowledge. You will not be disappointed if you get your service done here! (I ecpected that, since they were helping me out in a pinch, I would be a low priority. In truth, I was treated just as if I were one of their best customers. These guys rock. )

If you are lucky enough to have these guys work on your car you better take it to them… 2 other shops quoted me 4x as much as here and wanted to do a bunch of unnecessary things… I got really lucky and was able to get them to work on it… great work fair prices I didn’t know places like this existed…

The owner operator and general manager operator are both good guys. They offer fair prices and they stand behind their work They have enough tools and equipment to handle all of your automotive needs. They have quality high-end mechanics that are skilled and competent in their trade. I definitely feel comfortable doing business at Tallahassee Auto repair.

This has become the only place I will trust with my vehicles. Every time I need something they are honest and friendly. My car broke in the middle of the night and I had it towed to them while they were closed. I called the next day and they began working on it. It turned out to be much less of a problem than other places stated and saved me from having to replace my transmission. This is the second time they have saved my bank account from being cleaned out by others. RJ truly goes above and beyond for every customer!

If you want a totally unethical car repair shop and take 6-12 months by all means take it to them. They lied about the estimate never call back when asking for updated. It is in worse condition then when I took it in. It has scratches in the paint where none where before. Was told that a part was broken and I had to wait for an undefined amount of time. If you got thru to ask for updates the answer was I don’t know. When I finally frustrated enough. I told them I wanted my vehicle back. They said the could not release it to me. I finally get it back its twice the price of the estimate and twice as broke.

I cannot commend this business enough! I was traveling from Destin to Tampa Bay area, alone when my vehicle started acting funky. I pulled off the exist, googled nearest Auto repair and TAR came up, it was super close. I made my way to the shop. I was greeted with proffesionisim and kindness. They immediately gave me an estimate, ordered the part and fixed the problem. I was back on the road less then 2 hours. The best part of the experience was how the staff made me feel safe and and secure that everything was going to be ok. That means the world to a female traveling alone. Thank you so much TAR, you guys are top notch!!

I drive a 9 year old lifted Diesel that needed a lot maintenance, tires and body mounts. Called TAR on Friday they took me the following Monday, when I left the truck at the shop I instructed them to carefully inspect my old girl for any other issues. They mounted and balanced my 38s, installed body mounts, serviced transmission, oil change, replaced 3 fuel filters, upper pan oil filter, aligned front end and had her back to me that Friday morning at 7:30 am. Absolute on point service charged a fair price and didn’t find a bunch of unnecessary repairs to inflate my bill.💪

Never in my life have I ever gone to a shop and met such an honest and helpful group of mechanics. Our GMC Yukon randomly broke down on the freeway we barley made it to this shop. We were 100’s of miles from home on a road trip. The guys there asked us what happened and we told them. Then they put us ahead of the other cars to try and get us back on the road that same day. The owner, Brent came out and spoke with us for a while and eventually drove us himself to a rental place to get a temporary car while we wait. Long story short, these guys put a ton of effort into fixing it only to find out that we couldn’t afford to pay for the fix. Brent did everything he could to help lower the price and even offered to let us make payments. We ended up choosing just to get rid of it and get a new car. Before we left to go home we stopped by the shop to pay him what we owed for all the work. He refused to take our money and wants to wait until we sell the car to make sure that we were financially good. Not to mention he is helping us sell the car. This is a honest to god honest and down to earth business owner and the world needs more people like these people. If you live in Tallahassee or break down here this is where to come.

Had my Jeep Cherokee towed in to this crew w a transmission problem. They could’ve told me it was anything, but they found the problem and fixed it for a fair price. They’re not the kind of shop that just throws parts at a vehicle, charges us for it, then just hope it works. They’re were quick, super professional, super friendly. The auto repair industry is a minefield, these guys are a safe route.
