$400 for a truck inspection. that’s who, that’s what. there was ZERO work done to the truck, just a simple truck inspection that was overpriced. I had left no comment about it, just a one star.

They were very nice, very helpful. Fixed what they thought could be wrong with our truck. It is a bit better now so I think it was partly what they thought. Wasnt too much. Got it done fast. I appriciate all the help. Very nice place. Will be going back to fix the rest.

My boyfriend and I broke down in Erie on new years eve, our brakes were scraping/screeching and we called Gerry to see if he could take a look. Not only did they get us in even though they were closing, they found us a brake/rotor package for a reasonable price even though with the holidays they were in a pinch. They even installed them for us and gave us a discount as my boyfriend's dad is a retired veteran. If we hadnt called them we could have been in an accident or broke down on the highway on a holiday. Highly recommend them, great business.

Took forever to actually look at the vehicle and upon diagnosis, requested obnoxious deductibles that were never settled upon original negotiation. Other auto body shops/ mechanics do not do this and certainly wouldn't be shady about it. Essentially holding keys as hostage for an over inflated price for simply looking at a vehicle. If you need a diagnosis, go elsewhere.

So I just wanna put this out there now they do violate federal laws and will give out your personal information to their employees without your consent which falls under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Electronic Communication Privacy Act and The Telephone Consumer Protection Act I do not trust this company and they do not fix vehicles right and this is coming from someone who actually is specialized in cars they will mess up your vehicle every time I hope this catches everyone’s concern about this place the mechanics are not certified and just want your money and for you to keep coming back and they will say they fixed your car but they don’t actually do it and will charge you for it and when you contact them they will deny it and not take responsibility for their mistakes and I can name off the employee aswell

Patrick understood the predicament & was able to fit her in the schedule the next day. Craig diagnosed the car & personally spoke with me on the phone with his findings. I've always taken my car here, my whole family does. I used to live in Oregon and I kid you not, I drove it to Gerry Butts (4-5 day drive). I have had a lot of mechanics mess up my cars, so I have trust issues. Here, they have always found out what is wrong, fixed it, and charged a reasonable price. I just scheduled my boyfriend to go here as well. As our family grows, hopefully they will keep the shop up and running so the younger generations may come here as well.
