★☆☆☆☆ $95.00 for an oil change, and they didn’t refill the wiper fluid, they didn’t top off the antifreeze which is standard practice to apply these to any oil change at any professional business. Overall they disregarded my grandfathers concerns. They treated us like a burden, and my grandfather didn’t ask much he wasn’t pushy he simply asked and they got offended. I’m sure the work is done correctly as my grandfather stated they did the oil change and did a good job although i disagree myself with the way they handle their customers. Now my grandfather says he is going to take his business elsewhere just because of the absence of the standard practice most businesses apply with an oil change. Which is the wiper fluid and antifreeze being left out of their Service.

★☆☆☆☆ BEWARE: Damage done at Gill to the wheel lugs on two wheels was hidden from me and only discovered three years later when attempting (unsuccessfully) to remove those wheels. I had noticed at the time that the service guy was having some difficulty mounting those wheels and got help from another man, and I asked if there was a problem, and he said no, there was no problem. The event was memorable because they then went around the whole car with a torque wrench checking the other lug nuts, something that I had never noticed them doing before. Nobody is perfect, and if he had acknowledged that he had stripped the threads on one lug, and cross threaded another, I could easily have forgiven him and dealt with it at the time. BUT TO LIE TO ME ABOUT A RECOGNIZED PROBLEM PUT ME AT RISK AND IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE. I had the wheel lugs repaired at another shop that I knew to be trustworthy, and went back to Gill to ask to be reimbursed for my costs. Gill refused to stand by his work and refused to reimburse me for the modest $200 for the repair work. He just shrugged and blew me off. I had been buying tires from Gill for over 20 years, and I expected better, but never again. BUYER BEWARE! IT COULD BE YOU NEXT TIME. Charles R. McCormick, MD
