This location closes at 4pm. I showed up with an extremely flat tire at 4:25pm, and just happened to catch two staff members named Matt and Alex, as they were locking up for the night. I don’t like feeling like I am keeping people late at work because we have all been there :/ so I asked them if they happened to know the nearest place I could get air put into my tire until I could come back tomorrow during business hours. Instead of just giving me a quick answer, Matt actually went around to look at my sad, sad tire and chuckled (because of its sad state) said something along the lines that I was running on basically no air and asked his coworker, Alex, if he minded helping. Embarrassed and so thankful, both guys took unpaid time out of their day to try to make mine a little bit better and they both did it out of the kindness of their own hearts. While Alex replaced my current tire with my spare one, Matt went back inside and looked up prices for a new tire without me even asking. I am usually someone who would shop around for the best deal in town, but after Matt and Alex went out of their way with with such kindness, I didn’t care about the money for my needed replacement and told him I’d be there the very next morning for my new tire. I truly hope the owner reads these reviews and if anything, at least gives a nod of appreciation to these two amazing humans. Matt and Alex didn’t have to stay to help, they weren’t being paid and were probably looking forward to enjoying what was left of their day after a hard days work. They made the choice to be kind to a stranger- and there are very few things that I can think of that are more important in life. You should be a proud employer to have such wonderful men working for you. For those who need help with their tires or any of the services this business offers, these two men and this shop deserve your business and I can’t see myself going anywhere else after my experience.

The crew at the Salem location is so great! They treated me with respect and were very thorough in fixing the issues my car had. I had a terrible experience at the Keizer location and came into this shop with low expectations due to how I was was treated at the Keizer location. The communication and transparency here were fantastic and they made me feel like they truly cared about getting my car fixed correctly. I was never treated like I was a burden and they did such an amazing job at fixing all the issues caused by the “repairs” from the Keizer location. They also took the time to make sure my car didn’t have any other problems that were unsafe for me. Matt and the rest of this amazing crew were fantastic and I don’t have enough positive things to say about them. This is the only place I’m ever bringing my car if I need anything. Thanks again guys, you’re all Amazing!

The guys working were kind and helpful and had my flat repaired and put back on in less than fifteen minutes - not even long enough for the kids to whine about being dragged to a tire shop! I can't say enough about Matt and his crew and the customer centered service I received here doing my suspension work. They searched for the most affordable yet appropriately spec'd parts, did the work timely, and at the price quoted. No surprises. Communication through the process was easy to understand and built confidence they were the best choice for the work I needed. I received an honest opinion of when I will need tires and I appreciated them not strong arming me to buy prematurely just to increase the days sales total. Among all the shops to choose from in Salem, Point S is worth every consideration.

Update: it seems Matt isn't there anymore. I stopped in today to get my tires rotated and it was like a ghost town. The individual who rotated my tires was polite and professional, but the man (I think his name is Troy) looked angry and wouldn't address me at all. Not what I would consider to be a good representation of the company. I hope this place doesn't go back downhill like it was before the previous manager took over. Matt was exceptional! He provided excellent customer service! I'll definitely be a returning customer.

My first Point S experience was Rickreall ☺️ but this location is now my local store. Jason and the rest of the crew are amazing. Very patient and diligent with each and every customer. While my car was being tended to I overheard an employee who was helping a customer with a quote. He ran the situation by his co-worker and said, "I think we can save him some money." 1.) It's refreshing to hear someone ask for a 2nd opinion. 2.) That's a great example of teamwork. 3.) This experience confirms what I already knew of Point S. They really are a great value and exceptional quality and service. Edited to add: I was there today to make sure my tires were aired properly since one of my tires had low psi. Turns out my Nokian tires that I purchased almost two years ago are still in good shape. The air valve stem needed to be replaced.

Called at 4 PM to see if they had a tire. They did. Drove the 27 miles to them. Got there at 4:45 PM. They ended up having to stay open a little late but they got my tire replaced and me back on the road so I could go visit my dad in the hospital. They were all extremely nice and the manager was very friendly and really took the time to care for us. Highly recommend.

Got a fat screw stuck in my tire driving from Salem to Albany to pick up my kids from the bus stop. Not a great way to start off the weekend. S Point was about two miles from my kid’s bus stop and my tire was holding up so I called them a half hour before they closed and they told me to come in asap and they’ll try and take care of it. Got in there right before they closed and the screw must have been in a good spot because they had it patched up in a few minutes and got me out of there in less than 15 minutes. When I tried to pay they told me not to worry about it. They seriously got me out of a bind, and were super nice and accommodating about it. Very rare to get that kind of service nowadays. Thanks to everyone there! 5 stars!

Brad, my Service Adviser was head and shoulders above any representative I have ever dealt with at any repair facility, bar none. He went way out of his way to get me 4 new tires. You got to love that! In addition, even the Store Manager, Greg, introduced himself, and thanked me for my patience, as they were having the tires delivered. No dealer or tire shop had the tires my vehicle requires, so my wait was nothing, compared to driving with unsafe tires. I was happy to do so, as they did it all in one day The staff at this store are exceptional. Even my Technician, Mike, came out to discuss my concerns. You just don't see that type of service anywhere. I would recommend this store to anyone without hesitation. Troy and his crew did a great job making my Toyota pickup steer like new again! I've been chasing a clunk that I could not figure out for a long time. They replaced the Idler arm, Steering Dampener and wheel bearings in the Rt Ft of my old Toyota and it's like new again with no clunk!. Great job guys!!! I brought my car into bills Point s in Salem for Diagnostics my engine was turning off and overheating they diagnosed the problem quickly and did the necessary repairs in record time the manager Greg and his staff could not have been more accommodating professional and great to work with. Gills Point S is now our family's one and only place to bring our cars! oh, and their prices are great, especially for the level of highly trained, experienced and skilled mechanics they have on staff.
