I was referred to have a diagnostic test on my car and possible service. From the time Amber answered the phone, she was very thorough in explaining all that would or could happen, right down to pricing, number of days that they would have the car. My car was done when expected, after one day Amber had called to offer a loaner car that came back to their shop so I wouldn’t be stranded. I would certainly recommend them for service. Amazing customer experience. Friendly staff. Did a 30-point inspection on the car and sent me an email and text that show the results and what was wrong with the my vehicle including pictures of the problem. Then repair was done promptly and my car was returned. Highly recommend.

The BEST place to get a pre-purchase inspection on a used car that you’re considering buying! The folks at Godfrey Auto are true car experts, extremely honest and straightforward, and they do a very detailed and thorough pre-purchase inspection that includes a full report with photos. They saved me from buying a 2015 Ford Escape that aesthetically seemed great, but was riddled with issues. The vehicle actually wouldn’t even start when they tried pulling it out of the bay because it couldn’t detect that it was in park. The technician was able to get it started again after doing a hard reset, but they didn’t feel comfortable allowing me to drive it back to the used car dealership, so Sam, who is super awesome, extremely knowledgeable, and very kind, gave me a ride back. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

My 2002 Thunderbird would not fire, and after checking fuses and pushing the fuel pump reset button (which had needed resetting in the past), I decide to have it towed to Godfrey to be diagnosed and repaired. They were very transparent with everything they were doing, and kept me updated with progress and costs. Very happy with the final results. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent customer service. Thoroughly, went thru the vehicle's issues and put them in order of need. Costs were spelled out and reasonable. Gave me a loaner vehicle- no cost- as my repairs took longer than one day but told me that up front and no surprises. Even while paying asked me if, I had AAA, yes, they tell me they give a discount for AAA cardholders. Firstly, no place asks you that question, they may have it posted, and/or you have to ask them normally.

Worse tow company around. They illegally released my car (2017 Lincoln MKZ) to another tow company called Jays outta Brockton ma. They had no authorization and/or signature for it to be released, but decided to do so on their own time. We had no idea we are vehicle was. Our advisor from our insurance had no idea where our vehicle was. And their explanation was sorry I don’t know where your car is. So unprofessional nothing but clowns over there, especially that little blonde they have at the front desk. They have absolutely no idea what the hell they’re doing. You all will be getting your summons real soon in the mail for court. Enjoy.

We recently dealt with a frustrating situation where our car had bad gas in the fuel tank. The Mercedes dealer charged $1,000 just to run tests (thankfully we didn’t end up paying since we’d just purchased the car from them). After that, it was nearly impossible to get any follow-up — no returned calls and repeated delays in getting the report they promised. To make matters worse, the dealership quoted $6,800 for the repair — which seemed outrageous. We finally had the car towed to Godfrey Auto Care, and what a difference! Within a day, they retested everything, emptied the bad gas, added fresh fuel, and checked several other systems to make sure the car was running properly. They completed the entire repair for $605 (including tax), and the car now runs beautifully. We couldn’t be happier with their professionalism, efficiency, and honesty. Highly recommend Godfrey Auto Care!
