I thought that my radiator had a hole in it. I called on Friday about noon and asked if they could check out my jeep. Javier got me in at noon to diagnose the problem ( water pump with a hole in it) and out by 5:00. I was very happy that I didn't have to spend the weekend without transportation.

When my radiator sprung a leak, I took my car into the shop to see if the radiator could be repaired. Javier was very helpful and friendly. He took a look at it to see if he could repair it for me and also offered me a fair and reasonable quote for a replacement radiator, but didn't pressure me to buy it. I have been taking my cars over the years to Javier at Goleta Radiator. My dad has taken his cars as well as other friend's I have recommend to him. he truly is an honest mechanic who will you a honest diagnosis and won't waste your time or money. If you want expensive quality parts or budget parts that question is up to you to see what you want put into your car. he's very knowledgeable is his trade and if he can't help out with a certain repair he tells you honestly and depending on the repair can recommend another shop that he trusts. He once referred me to Goleta Transmissions when I had a questionable issue with my car's transmission and it all worked out great with them. He is a small repair shop so please be patient, but it will be well worth it for you and your car.

Being the owner of several classic along with 3 work trucks and two sports cars I've been to most of the mechanics in town until I went to Javier at goleta radiator and automotive. Honesty is the best policy and not only being honest and hard working he is up for any task as busy as he is from swapping motors out to simple oil changes. I haven't gone any where else since. I had my alternator replaced by Goleta radiator back in October of 2019 and forgot to write a review. I'm doing it now ONLY because they did a great job and fast. They also charged me the same fair price that he quoted. This is not the first time they've worked on my cars there and I left not only relieved and happy, I am grateful to find an Honest and qualified Pro to go-to with a car issue. Been taking my vehicles to Javier for 6 years now and he consistently does quality work at a fair price. He's one of those mechanics that finds the $10 fix instead the $200 overkill. The shop is bare bones so don't expect a courtesy van to take you home but you'll get good work at a good price.

I called Javier on a Thursday afternoon to see about getting my radiator looked at. He asked me the year, make and model.. Asked if I would bring the vehicle in the next morning. We never really discussed a fee for service, Ball park number. I dropped the jeep off and went on my way. His employee called ma at 4 PM and said jeep was fixed, . The charge was no where what I expected. Less $ 100. than I expected. Great gut and great team. The only downside, he is a Yankee fan.

I was visiting from Utah and the alternator in my car went out. I was hundreds of miles from any tools and no information on where to go. I don’t trust dealerships! Best mechanic Ive ever met. Javier is a nice guy, plus he is honest and always finds the least expensive parts and offers great service. I have an old car with numerous problems and he has always been able to accomodate me with same day repair. Saved me a ton of money on a new radiator, as well as fixing numerous leaks and other problems dirt cheap. He always takes time to explain exactly what he is doing and looks for the easiest way. I reached out because my radiator just started randomly leaking coolant and I wasn’t too sure where to go since I’m originally not from here. I did a quick Google search and was led to this radiator shop, called and spoke to Juan and they managed to fit me in the next day. When I came in, they looked at my car and we found that one of the plugs on the radiator had busted. Luckily they managed to fix it within 20 minutes at a very good price and sent me on my way!
