Simply a great experience with the BMW Santa Barbara team and BMW overall. I was at the end of my lease term but undecided on what to do next. My sales rep, Jimmy Trieste, patiently walked me through several options and guided me toward building my own model for my next lease. During the months in production, Jimmy kept me updated, and BMW Finance worked seamlessly to extend my old lease until my new car arrived. I just picked up my new X3 a couple days ago - and when Jimmy said he would have me in and out in 1 hour, he was serious and made good on that promise. While Carlos was walking me through set-up of my new car, Jeff was processing my lease return, then Darouny in Finance quickly took me through the new lease signing process; sure enough, 1 hour later, Jimmy watched me drive off the lot in my new car (and don't we all love that new car smell)! Can't say enough positive things about this BMW team in Santa Barbara!

I am a returning customer, and wanted to share my great experience with the BMW dealership.(SB Auto Group) I can honestly say that working with Jimmy and the team from start to finish was fantastic! Jimmy was knowledgeable, friendly and was patient while we all figured out the best fit for us. He was helpful in us making a decision. He then handed me over to Carlos who was a lovely young man, patient and sweet, and helpful, and helped me download the My BMW App, and guided me through the entire thing. He also checked in with me to say that he’s there for any questions I may have regarding the vehicle. Jimmy also checked in to make sure things were good and informed me that the cargo mat was ready for pick up. All in all I can say that my experience was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you! Walked in the door and the one guy standing across the showroom said “…do you need something?” I had to walk up to him. 4 other guys had the exact same energy. Not a single one even bothered to introduce themselves or even ask for my name. I was actually shocked at how horrible the service was for such a prestigious brand. I can only imagine what the execs in Munich would say. Do yourself a favor and go to Rusnak in Thousand Oaks.

We had been shopping for a higher end SUV for quite some time. We shopped from San Jose down to Thousand Oaks. Out of all the sales people we spoke with at the various locations I have to say Jimmy Trieste at BMW Santa Barbara stood out. He was the most professional, knowledgeable, attentive and was always available. He is truly an authentically nice person which we find to be equally important. Jimmy found us the exact BMW we wanted, which we couldn’t find anywhere, reached back out to us and eventually we closed the deal with a well deserved smile. Thank you to Jimmy for helping to finally end this car buying experience on a positive note. If it weren’t for your extra efforts we would have been driving up to San Jose to buy a “good enough” car. I walked into SB BMW a week ago to get info on returning my end of lease vehicle. The rep(won't say his name) at the desk just looked at me. I asked if I can speak to a used sales car rep and he said he was able to assist. I asked him if I can return my vehicle and purchase a used vehicle to avoid the disposition fee. He asked what kind of car I had and what was I looking for. I told him I have a 330E and I wanted to purchase a used convertible. He then told me that my car was not worth anything at all and to just return it end of lease and start new with a vehicle purchase. I was confused. He said they were getting a demo convertible to sell, but he had no idea anything about it. He made a smirk comment to me that the vehicle would only be about $5,000 of sticker price. He didn't seem like he was in the mood to help and that he was bothered by me. I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere with him so I walked out of the dealer and did some research online about end of lease. I called the BMW dealer in North Hollywood and I got a total different attitude. They were very helpful and told me to bring the vehicle for trade in and that I can avoid the disposition fee with a trade in for used vehicle. Started the paperwork and got myself a nice used BMW. I would have waited for the demo vehicle and purchased it from SB BMW, but the rep was not helpful at all.
