Called this mechanic and had appointment scheduled for tuesday at 2:00pm. I never heard from him, not a call, text nothing. People have schedules and make appointments for a reason If your looking for someone you can depend on LOOK ELSEWHERE THIS GUY WILL HAVE YOU WAITING ALL DAY

I called for him to come and fix my car today so he said to text him my address and that he could fix my car at 3:30. I texted him my address at 1:30 , called him at 2:30 and called again at 3:30, nothing. The one star reviews are right, this dudes a flake. And he quoted me $120 I never wanted it done for free we agreed on that, do not come here, save your time.

I paid for a full vehicle inspection but the mechanic only came by briefly to visually inspect the under side of the vehicle and look at the engine. I was supposed to get a diagnostic that was never performed and I requested a hard copy report in case of future resell. I continually followed up with the mechanic to come by the next week for the due diagnostic and as I drove in to town specifically for that the mechanic said he was too busy. I also continually followed up for him to email me the report and though he assured me he would send it, I have yet to receive it. He was very hard to reach and has since stopped responding to any inquiries. Terrible service and I don't recommend going to this place.

Exchanged my tire out with a new tire from a local tire store which was about to close but had them stay open a bit longer as it was a Sunday. Our alternator went out in ojai during hot weather, I called Gabe and he was was super quick to respond and kept good communication with us the whole time he was commuting to us , he even went out of his way to drive to us from SB his rates were still better then the mobile mechanic I called in Ventura , Gabe is super legit he even gave me a little fan to keep the baby cool while he did the work. I happened to meet Alphonse at a store on Thanksgiving after my RV breaking down in Santa Barbara. He came out and did a great job, running for parts after diagnosing the problem and finding little things once he started that many mechanics had missed before. Above his knowledge and professionalism I highly recommend Alphonse for his compassion, patience and willingness to work on something unknown to him. Traits you will come to appreciate when stranded. My car's "check engine light" came on and the code was P0401. I needed a new EGR Valve for my (23 year old car) and to have the duct cleaned out. Gabe is thorough and detailed and so amazingly GOOD! He is mobile and will come to you. The man clearly knows cars, ALL cars. If you feel thwarted by dealerships and other repair shops, you can absolutely trust this man to get the job(s) done. I needed a inspection for a used car quickly after the dealership said it was ready and contacted Gabe in the morning during Thanksgiving weekend.He contacted me quickly by text and arrived at the dealership when needed. Gabe came the next day on a Sunday (which i wasn't expecting him to work on Sundays) and located a short that was causing the issue. He fixed her car while it was slightly raining too. He did replace some parts and get my RV running a couple of times, but for the bulk of the costs associated with parts he never installed them and I haven't received the parts or a refund for over $1000. He kept saying he would show up and never came, every month for several months. After I got fed up with waiting, I asked for a refund. Same pattern - he kept saying he would send a refund and never did. been waiting since January 2025 for my refund. Have to take him to small claims court to get my refund.

It was a tough job to get to our battery in our heavily modified car, but he was great at figuring out how to do it. He was also very communicative on when he could get out to help us. He did great work on my van a few times - I even was going to recommend him Then he took my key fob in the beginning of February to replace the battery and get it working I’ve been trying to reach him since - I get little to no answers and now have been blocked on my phone. I also bought parts with him in February for a scooter - it took him months to do it and he didn’t even finish - the communication was pretty bad This is malpractice and stealing. Bad values. Will likely have to take this to court to hold him accountable for his actions.
