Awesome experience! Took my wife's car here on a Sunday morning for a oil change on the fly- Full synthetic starting at $89.99 for her model and only $25 extra for an alignment! We were able to utilize a coupon code in the shop as well so I walked out of there only spending about $100

I usually always take my car to this location for services. Well, for my last oil change/general service, I took it to the Timberline location because it was more convenient at the time. That was a BIG mistake because they didn't even do the full service I paid for, which was supposed to include a coolant topoff. I came back to this location to get that corrected, and Chris took an entire extra step for me. I went in with body damage that prevented my driver side door from opening, and he took a minute to readjust the surrounding frame and now it opens again. All of this costed me $0 and less than 15 minutes. Lesson learned, and this location is the best one in Fort Collins!

Long story short, I was pleasantly surprised by my service at this Grease Monkey. I am apprehensive about oil shops. I’ve been ride or die for dealership oil changes for a long time. Went here out of necessity and convenience. My dealership and two more out of town were booked out for 6 days. This grease monkey told me I could come in now, walks in welcome. I only waited 5-10 minutes, every guy in there was nice and knowledgeable, they didn’t try to upsell me. Great chat. No new vehicle issues arose on my drive home. The whole team is 10/10

The *nicest* people work here! Taylor worked on our vehicle today and did an awesome job. They are fast and the car is left clean. They are also consistent in what they tell me between oil changes so I don't feel like I'm getting cheated or tricked. I've been going here for probably a decade or so but the last 2 oil changes have just left a particularly good impression.

The only upsetting thing about my time here was when one of the guys on a phone call started gossiping about my car and how bad the air filter was, but it was also after I had just told them multiple times I didn't have the money to change my air filter, so that was a little disappointing and embarrassing to have done in front of me. but other than that really great place, really nice people, they explained everything awesomely and they helped me out a lot and I am thinking about going back there 🙂

Been coming here for years. Always great service. Latest was a used car we just bought and Chris went WAY above and beyond. Turns out there was an old mouse nest in the cabin air filter (yuck!). He even looked deeper in the dash (at no cost) to make sure he found it all. Lo and behold there was some “nest fluff” in the heater blower. Took me back to the car and showed me everything he was doing. Thank you so much for all your help!

I just want wanted to say thank you so much for everyone who works at this location for being an amazing person. I came in the morning to get an oil change and they took care of my car as soon as i got there. Chris was the person who helped me and he was awesome, we talked for a little after they changed my oil and he is one of the nicest most heart filling person I've meet. i couldn't stop smiling because of how nice he treated me. if you ever need service done on your car talk to Chris, he is the man to talk to!!!

This has been the best Grease Monkey I’ve ever been to! I’ve been going to this location since moving to Colorado, and this one just keeps exceeding my expectations. The team is always kind, realistic, and quick. It really seems like the managers do a great job keeping employees happy and communication strong. I’ve visited a few other locations, but this one is always my favorite. I appreciate how they talk to customers like real people, not like corporate. It has that true local feel, and that’s because of the awesome employees here. They’re always working hard, even with new faces on the team. I hope they get the recognition they deserve because there are some total badasses here! I’ll be back every time I can!

Wow! Three jovial, motivated folks serviced my car immediately upon my drive up. I was impressed by their honesty about what was and was not needed, and there was visual support provided. (My air filter looked like it had been on a combine in a corn field, lol). They were diligently caring and acting towards my returning, and as tis was my second visit there with a showing of quality treatment, they won! Hats off to the young staff on Shields by Horsetooth who quickly took the time to teach me more about what it means to receive a smooth happening with my not so smooth car... you rock!

I usually have had easy and solid visits here for oil changes for a few years, but at my most recent one they rang up my car's oil change as someone else's, then tried to hand my keys to a stranger. Later driving to Denver my engine overheated and almost seized. I checked the oil level and it was very low, I had to put in another quart. Love you guys but that was rough. EDIT: their regional Ed called and reached out, he graciously made things right after leaving this review. Will be going back there for my next oil change!

I run a local delivery business and rely on same-day and next-day jobs, so I need a shop that’s reliable, upfront, and respectful of my time. This team has been stellar every single visit. I bring my entire fleet here (three trucks and a Transit van) and the communication, honesty, and turnaround are always on point. When one of my older trucks had an oil pan/drain plug issue that wasn’t their fault, they went above and beyond to create a real solution and stop the leak. Even though this is a larger brand, it’s a locally owned franchise run by a genuinely friendly owner with a family here in Fort Collins. Don’t hesitate to support this business. They support local businesses like mine.

I recently took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. This was the first time I had gone there for service. I chose it primarily due to proximity to my house but I also noticed the high star rating on Google maps, which also influenced my decision. My experience did not disappoint. Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable and the work was completed satisfactorily. There was a minor issue that occurred during the tire rotation that necessitated a visit to a repair shop. Chris went above and beyond to remedy the situation including paying for the repair work, which he didn’t have to do. As a result of their incredibly high standard of customer service, I look forward to continuing to have my vehicle serviced here. I encourage anyone looking for a great place to have your vehicle serviced to give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I had an amazing experience this morning. I pulled in and was met with a swift can do attitude. The service was seamless and efficient. So much so that I didn't get the name of the gentleman who helped me but I could tell he was the boss. He made sure I understood everything and got me in and out quick. It wasn't super busy when I arrived which helped expedite the process. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I came in with a nearly completely stripped drain plug on my oil pan after I tried to do my girlfriend's oil change my self but could not remove the drain plug for the life of me. I work on my own cars and rebuilt my 95 Jeep Wrangler but this drain plug wouldn't budge no matter what I tried. But it wasn't an issue for these guys which shows their experience. I appreciate ya'll so much! Definitely recommending anyone I know your direction!
