Just stopped at Markley Honda because I needed some information on brake controllers for towing for my Ridgeline. Scott P. assisted me and gave me all the info I needed and was great at explaining everything. This was new territory for me and I greatly appreciated his help!

My wife and I LOVE Markley Motors for two reasons. One is they sell Hondas, the second is the Service Department. Within that, we are so thankful for Arnie Giron. Brilliant, good energy, courteous, responsible and committed to customers, he is the face of Markley Motors for us. We're on our second Markley Honda and it will not be the last--because of people like Arnie in the Service Department, and the reliability of Hondas. Rick & Heather Knight p.s. We also so value Nancy's calls after every service!

Poor service . Brought my Buick in for a retrofit. Had to leave it overnight. We live an hour away!! About 2 weeks later they said they missed something on the module. I called made an appointment. They said it would take 15 min. Got here for my appointment time. They said. It would be an hour .. ok left for an hour and came back. Was told he had’t even started on it,was just about ready to start on it.Really another hour!!! This is ridiculous. More gas and time because they forgot to do something. No compensation for 4 hrs drive time and a day and 1/2 of time!!

I had an oil change and tire rotation plus I wanted my transmission checked because it had a jerky feeling when you pressed on the accelerator when stopped. I booked an early morning time and had my own ride. I received a call within 2 hours. There was a transmission update and the oil change and tire rotation had been completed. They asked if I wanted the car washed and it would be ready in 15 mins. I was very happy about the timeframe. I would have liked that the transmission test was free and charged only if something needed to be done. However, since I've had oil changes here before, I had enough punches that this one was free and was pleased with that.

*BEWARE* I would have loved to have said that I used Markley Motors but after waiting for a salesman Bob to tell us that we were waiting for a wiring harness to be fixed. We waited 3 months and we possibly passed up lots of other very good deals at other dealerships off of a benefit of the doubt that bob was helping us. That is not the case, they sold the car behind our backs without telling us, and only did after we called to check up. They wanted to feed us some line about how the dealership is becoming too involved with the vehicle and sold it to wholesale because it was too much of a hassle and also it was apparently too much of a hassle to give us a call too.

This is my first Honda after decades of owning Toyotas. Markley Honda has helped repair my broken trust in dealerships. Everyone here has been excellent, especially Will in Service. The owners Carrie Baumgart and Cindy Degroot have contacted me personally more than once to follow up. I sincerely appreciate the free Uber rides. Thank you

My car died while driving after they did an oil change and inspection. I got it towed there and they found the problem and fixed it quickly, debris on my mass air flow sensor from opening the air box. I was upset when I got there but the guy in the red shirt David was helpful and understanding. They didn't charge me anything for fixing a mistake that was inadvertently caused by their techs. These people care about your cars after being there multiple times for regular service on my 2010 CR-V with 72k on it. They'll fix problems they may or may not have caused for free or cheap. Thanks again and sorry for the little bit of anger David.

Let me start out by saying my family has done business with Markley Motors for over 20 years and have always had great service in both the sales and service areas - that is until today. Markley did offer a express service for oil changes and I arrived this morning at 7 to have that service completed. The service guy was rude, told me he had appointments and maybe if I was willing to leave my car he could get to it in 3 or 4 hours. This experience left me angry and sad because their service used to be so good. I will not return to Markley for service or to buy a car again because of this experience.... Good for you Markley -- you lost a great customer

My college aged son went there as the car was cutting off, the first time they replaced the battery same issue happened a week later. This time they said we needed to replace all the brakes. However the brakes had already been replaced a few weeks earlier. The technician then decided to charge for the inspection only when I called them and asked why they would need to change brand new brakes did they revert the $150 inspection charge. These technicians are paid based on work they quote - be careful. The manager rectified the issue and apologised on behalf of the technician but clearly they have issues and their compensation maybe driving to bad business practices.

I took my car in to identify a noise. I told them clearly what noise it was making. The noise was easy to track because it was in the transmission. It took less than an hour. They told me they cannot fix transmissions any more and Honda doesn’t even make the transmissions any more. They charged me for a multipoint inspection that I did not even ask for. It was back in less than an hour, and because of the multipoint inspection, I’m sure the multipoint inspection took a lot of that time. Charged me $200.

I have been a customer of Markley Honda since I purchased my first Accord in 1991. The Service Department has been stellar; and Scott Parek exemplifies the finest in customer focused service. He is always cheerful, and in particular, focuses on my car and my understanding what it needs to perform well. Thanks, Scott Stan Wolff-Mills

I had an efficient oil change and service appointment today! My Service Advisor, Will Stenner, was thorough and very thoughtful in making sure I knew expected costs. He went above and beyond to help make sure the job was completed on time.

I came in this past Tuesday, I was running late for a 4:30 appointment, not knowing that technicians go home at 5pm. William Stenner was very accommodating and kind, he got me in despite my lateness and asked the very thorough and kind technician, Callum Ashley, to rush the report so I could pay and leave before my next appointment. I really appreciate Will's excellent level of customer service. Thank you so much for always taking such great care of my car and me!!

My husband and I have been taking our cars to the Markley Honda service department for many years. We always feel confident that we are getting great service at fair prices. I just had my car in for service and was very pleased with the care I received from Will Stenner. He was courteous, kind, and very knowledgable regarding my car's needs. I was pleased to have my service completed within the promised timeframe.

On September 16, 2024 I took my vehicle to Markley for an oil change. Unlike the last time, this time I had a great experience. I was very lucky to have John Grabowski as my service consultant. John was very nice and helpful. I feel much better now about going back to Markley for service in the future. Thanks John!!

Friendly service, but I am very concerned about the lack of knowledge I encountered. I bought a used car from Markley and the sale was contingent on them replacing the CV joint. Well 2 days later I noticed a rattling/crunching sound from that wheel. It was very disturbing, but I was not able to take it in until something like 10 days after the sale. They found a whole host of other things they wanted me to have done (even though they did a "full inspection" before sale and it was "clean"), but more or less told me that the sound was nonexistent and I was imagining things, and that the car was past the warranty period. I have been driving this car for months now and hearing the sound get progressively louder and more disturbing. Markley starts telling me it is time to replace the timing belt. I took the car to a trusted repair shop my family has had good experiences with, and they found the source of the rattle was a poor reassembly job after the CV replacement. They tightened it up and now the noise is gone. Also, my car does not even have a timing belt so the repair shop and myself are concerned how Markley would recommend in-person and over email to replace my timing belt. Did they even pop the hood? I am thankful for kind and respectful employees, but I would not recommend using their repair services.

Called for a service history on a vehicle and got me all the history very quick with no hassle. Service advisors there seem very kind and professional! I worked with Trinity and would recommend.

The first time I went to the Honda Service of Markley Motors everything went good. They did what they said and when they said it would be done. However the second time I scheduled an appointment for brakes and some lighting issues they text me that they had canceled my appointment and to give them a call to reschedule. I had taken time off that morning to bring in my Civic in. I am currently looking for alternatives to Markley as I guess their time is more important than my time.

Called and got a quote for what it would cost to do a basic diagnostic due to my check engine light turning on in my truck. I gave all the information to the technician over the phone and he gave me a quote of $105. A couple days later I go to drop my truck off and the technician has me sign an estimate of $242, substantially higher than my initial quote. Between my call and when I dropped the truck off, nothing changed, no additional information was given, and no further diagnosis was done, but now all of a sudden the price is changed? Apparently I was initially given an incorrect estimate over the phone and the technician refused to honor the original amount, saying I was given the hose leak price and not the check engine light price. I left and went somewhere else where I was quoted significantly cheaper. If this is my experience within the first 10minutes at the service shop, I can’t imagine the rest of the experience being any less shady or disorganized. Save your time and stress and go somewhere else…

It’s a dealership so you will pay dealership prices BUT it’s worth it because they’re on the top of the game and always make sure to take care of customers. There are so many wonderful people who work here and always make sure everything is done right. Arnie, Mike, Dustin, Jake just to name a few…even Kevin and Ivan in parts are awesome! Also would recommend getting tires here. They will match prices on the GM side and if you get the tires from Honda the prices are competitive and you get free road hazard coverage for flats, unrepairable tires and blow outs. Thank You!
