Chris is great at what he does. He's an honest mechanic which is hard to find in Fort Collins. I have a Chevy and use to take my car to the Chevy dealership. They'd charge you $100 just to look at your car. Chris was referred to me by a colleague and man, am I sure glad I found him! He has never done me wrong and always gives me a straight forward fix; whether I want to spend less money or more money. I will always take my car to C and T auto. Thank you Terry and Chris for always doing right by me.

I recently moved to Fort Collins and needed to find a tire/oil change/mechanic company for our needs. I found Chris and his team and they have been nothing short of fantastic. I've already bought a set of tires for one of my vehicles and they have been great. I highly recommend, great service!

Chris and his team are the best in town! This past week I went into the Houska garage to have tires mounted and balanced. When paying for this service I was told I needed to have an alignment completed. So I made the appointment for two days later. I was irritated this was not apart of the mounting and balancing during the install, and was never asked if I wanted an alignment when scheduling. Later that afternoon I receive phone call stating an alignment would not be recommended due to needing a new steering rack, the power steering fluid was leaking and needed replaced and flushed, the struts and sway bar needed replaced all adding up to 4k! I was completely shocked with the cost! I was not really surprised things needed to be replaced due to my car being an 04'. But labor alone was quoted to be more then the parts! I took my vehicle for a second opinion to Chris at C&T and had the same work done there for $1300. Chris and his team have always been good to me in the past and I will continue taking my car here for superior service!! Thank you all so much!

My tire went out near here, so I left it overnight in hopes they could fix it in the morning. They didn't have a tire that fit my car, so they gave me a personal tire in order to get me back on the road as soon as possible. I could not believe how generous this was, and it was for an absolute steal of a price. I've only ever gotten tires at the bigger name shops, but I'll be going here exclusively from now on. They made me feel like such a priority and so well taken care of! I cannot recommend them enough.

Have been bringing my Cayenne here for years and can’t say enough great things about Chris Lion and this business. You won’t find another mechanic with more personal integrity or honesty. They’re already slammed with business but they deserve a great review. 5 stars isn’t enough!

CT tires is not a place you should go if you want reliable and accurate and fair work done on your car the first red flag for me should’ve been when I asked the owner Chris back in January during my first appointment how things were going and he said the financial status of his company wasn’t doing too well at the time. at that point I needed my thermostat fixed in my car and when I brought it in, he fixed the water pump when I picked it I realized the heater was still not blowing hot air called him again. Had to bring the car back in and was told yes it was the Thermostat so I then have to pay again for that repair and labor about a month later, I brought it in and Jerome looked at it, letting me know the front struts and control arm needed to be replaced. Chris was out of the office at this time when I brought it in the following week to get it fixed I was charged a significant more amount of money than I was quoted by Jerome and the control arm wasn’t even fixed so when I brought it back to Chris A few days later, he said oh I didn’t even know that needed to be fixed. When Jerome was the one that told me it needed to be fixed Chris then continue to say it wasn’t a safety issue and wasn’t a problem then when I try to receive some funding from the county to get it fixed because of my car was unsafe to drive as it threw us into the other lane on the highway. He told them it wasn’t necessary and they denied the funding. Therefore, I am out all the money he overcharged me with no explanation. He very much took advantage of a single mom very disappointed.

Chris is the man. Does services on my work truck and personal vehicles. Very up front and honest guy. Don't pay any attention to these couple bad reviews. I think the good outweighs the negative comments in this situation

I am so happy that C&T Tire & Automotive was able to fit me, a new customer, in quickly after my radiator sprung a leak! Chris was awesome! He communicated well regarding what was wrong and what the fix would be, and how much it would cost. Additionally, he came across as extremely knowledgeable and he provided service in a quick, fast, and efficient manner in my opinion. I am now going to adopt C&T Tire & Automotive as my mechanic of choice moving forward. Thank you, Chris!

Nothing but shoddy work and hostile conversations to be had here. To start from the beginning I asked for a lift kit to be installed. A couple of hours after dropping the car off I get a call and they say after instillation during the test drive the car was making strange noises. He then went on to accuse me of bringing it in driving like that and it was not their issue to solve. I explained that the car had just driven over 600 miles no issue, so I was very sure that it wasn’t there before the lift kit. He ended up conceding and agreeing it wasn’t in that condition before. We decided the lift kit probably didn’t fit well and he took it out, charging me for labor and parts along the way… with zero work done, a lift kit installed then uninstalled, car in identical condition. Except for a couple of things, I was left with a crappy alignment, the car was heavily veering to the left at any speed above 20mph. Now that I’m doing some work on the car myself, on brake pads and suspension, I am seeing multiple bolts stripped and overtightened beyond necessity. I will not be coming here again, however, I had a great experience with Rocky Mountain Automotive, they cleared warning lights caused by this experience.

If you are looking for a trusted professional C & T tires and auto is NOT the shop for you *zip-ties included* In the beginning, Chris seemed overly enthusiastic to work with me, answering all the questions I had. This is what led me to trusting this shop at first. I dropped my car off Sunday evening. As soon as they opened Monday morning I made a call before work was to start. Jerome notified me that there seemed to be a mix up in the “shock job” I thought I needed. I confirmed with him that through this diagnostic, that it was the front shocks that needed to be seen to. After that I didn’t get a call again from them until it was time to pick up my car on Wednesday evening. At this point Chris was on the other line and I asked “does everything look okay?” & “how much will this be?”. He insured everything was fine and he “didn’t know the price because it wasn’t pulled up on his computer.” This is where it gets shady. I walked in with my card ready and the first thing Chris does is INSIST on pulling my boyfriend and I into the back of the shop to look at the parts that were replaced. Thoroughly going over the job that was done on the clutch, showing diagrams that seemed to be overzealous. He kept talking and talking. But at the very end he said “oh yeah there was a part that broke in our hands as we tried to unclip it from the steering cable, So we zip tied it up and it should be fine for now.” Between being completely overwhelmed with all of the random info he threw at us, I then felt shocked that something had happened and I wasn’t notified. Chris also never thought to show us the broken clip. He insisted the job was complete even though in the same sentence the zip ties were a temporary solution. I drove away paying $2,400 for a clutch kit that was incomplete and the shocks in a box that they didn’t put on because my shocks still had life to them. I paid for the shocks because Chris suggested that I had to pay for shipping for the specialized shocks to be sent back. Assuming they were the right parts, I just went with it and figured I’d save them for the future. And here it gets even more sketchy. THE NEXT MORNING. When I drove my car not even 5 miles down the road, my car starts overheating. A problem I have never once had. Not only this but my shift knob, was broken, when before entering this shop, was not. I called C&T to notify of the overheating and they told me to drive it over for them to take a look. Once they opened the hood, transmission fluid exploded everywhere as Chris tried to fix the shifter situation right after he told me “I shoved it up and then the part fell down again, so I shoved it up again and maybe it’ll stay?” His solution to fixing my shifter was you guessed it, gluing it up and adding a zip tie, C&Ts signature it seems. Again driving away knowing zip ties were in my transmission and now on my shifter with an overheating car, I decided it was time to do some research. Between the manufacturer, a jeep dealership, doge, and another mechanic in town, they all suggested that this job was shoddy and that it should never has been done. They ALL suggested taking my car to another shop to repair the damages C&T had done. An accident or not, I should’ve been notified at the very least, as the professionals had told me. I went back for the very last time to C&T to return the shocks because the wrong ones were ordered. This time an overwhelming silence as Chris walked into the room. Not a hello, just coldness as he got right to the point on returning the parts. I then expressed all of my concerns and frustrations and he said again and again that he would NOT pay for the parts but give me labor. He said loud and clear “this is the best we could do” and laughed in my face when I said I didn’t feel comfortable for him to ever touch my car again. So what else could we do with an angry man who was unwilling to fix his zip ties in a professional manor. We left. It will cost about $1000 parts&labor to fix this zip tie mistake.

Took my vehicle to the local dealership where I bought it for some work. I was having some major grinding noises on my driver side when making turns and backing up. The dealership quoted me over $3000 and days in the shop for the fix. I called C & T Tire based on a very strong recommendation from some friends. Worked with Chris, who was awesome. He got my vehicle in that day, explained exactly what he thought the issue was and what my options were. Zero pressure. He had the vehicle back to me next day (only because I couldn't pick it up that same night because of my schedule!) and charged me a fraction of what the dealership wanted to charge me. All problems with the vehicle were fixed. They've won my business for all car related issues going forward. Honest folks doing honest work, and doing it extremely well!
