Very honest. Upper mid range for an independent shop, but they wont try to pull the wool over your eyes about things and tend to be very up front about stuff. They're also very polite, do nice quality work, and offer a decent warranty.

J.R. is nice, but I got the impression they really weren't interested in working on my car. A few months later my hood release got stuck, they said they couldn't help me. Tow truck driver opened it in less than 5 minutes with a pair of channel locks and a good grip.

The BEST place to take your car. I used to take my 2009 Dodge Avenger here in college, but moved to LA since I graduated a few years ago. I've never been able to find a better mechanic than JR. I had a pervasive issue that my local mechanic couldn't figure out, and the dealer refused to diagnose because of rust (it's an East Coast car, and the dealer was being ridiculous). JR diagnosed the issue within hours. He kept me informed of how things were going and price throughout, and he really explained to me what was going on! I drove my car back to LA this morning and it's running smoother than it has in months! These guys are honest and fair, they care about the quality of their work, and they are so great at what they do. Thanks again, JR! I will be back, even if it means coming down from LA--so, so worth it.

I spent over a year looking for a competent garage for my Ford Flex. The team at Greg's has always fixed it right the first time, and for a fair price. Took my wife's Scion there with a odd brake noise that the Toyota dealer caused (and wanted another $1100 to fix) Took the car to a well regarded Tire and Brake shop but could not track down the issue. Greg's team found a warped rotor, replaced it, and lubed the caliber pins for a fraction of the dealer cost. She's very happy that her car doesn't sound like the wheels are falling off! Can't wait to bring my third car there (once it's back together)

On the way to work one morning, my car died. I had AAA take my car to Greg’s Orange Auto as it was the closest AAA approved shop near me. They took what was an otherwise nightmare situation and helped me resolve it, not through physical work on the car, but with the care and thought to do the legwork of finding out that my engine issue was within the manufacturer warranty. They could have simply told me I needed a new engine and taken the money and ran, but they operate an honest business and in an industry where so many customers are taken advantage of, they truly take care of you. JR kept me updated on everything and helped me save a ton of money on the necessary repair. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Moved to SoCal in 2010. Spoiled by the fact in NY my uncle owned a Car Dealership and Service Station. My other uncle and cousin owned a Service Station; both retired. My other cousin still owns a high-end repair shop with his grandson working their 5th generation. J.R. at Greg's has treated me with the utmost competence, fairness, and excellence over the past 15 years such that the only thing I miss about my family in NY is a few beers and cheese on Friday nights as the service from J.R. is like family.
