I bought a 1997 C280 with 160k. Miles. Car sputtered and died in Big Bear. Went to my local 5 star mechanic who doesn't mess around with Mercedes. Referring me to Gary without ever meeting him. Word of mouth from a master mechanic referral good enough for me. Pre covid and busy as good Mercedes mechanics are. I couldn't get in For 7 days. Impatient I went to another mechanic ( not Mercedes only) caliber. 1100 later started sputtering and filling spark plugs with oil? Knock sensor was not it. My referral mechanic said did you go to Johnson? Mistake. Gary & staff are very knowledgeable professional and helpful. Rainy pushed car inside as battery died and windows were down. I need to get oil and fluids topped off and maybe Gary will see this before call.? Lol It's important that they have no other car's but Mercedes Benz that they service.

I recently purchased a 1983 240D and had the car gone through here. Let me tell you, they did an absolutely fantastic job. The car is running noticeably smoother and is way less anemic. The mechanics here are subject matter experts when it comes to all things Mercedes, especially on the older ones. I could not be happier with the service provided and the quality of their work. Finding a good Mercedes mechanic is getting harder and harder to do and Orange County residents should consider themselves lucky to have such a great shop local. Bring your w123 and other models here, you won’t be disappointed.
