I've been bringing my Volvo to Orange Motors since January 2015, and a recent experience with United Automotive Service has made me fully appreciate what an outstanding job Orange Motors does in every aspect of the experience. Recently while driving on the highway the nut & bolt connecting my front left tire to the suspension rod came undone, causing me to lose control of the tire and pull over. AAA gave me a choice of where to tow to, and I requested the AAA certified mechanic closest to my home. The shop, United Automotive service, charged me a $108 diagnoses fee and estimated the cost of repairs at $1300 with a 2-3 day wait. Instead, I had my cat towed to Orange Motors, where they properly diagnosed it, charged $740 and finished in one day. The owners legitimately care about providing the best possible service, which includes explaining exactly what they're doing in a way you can understand, saving you as much money as possible, and being incredibly courteous. To top it off, they're extremely talented mechanics and will stretch your dollar as much as possible in order to make the best repairs. Instead of performing the unnecessary alignment United Automotive Service recommended, Orange Motors used the money to replace the poorly installed break pads. In conclusion, I regret my decision to have my cat towed to an AAA certified mechanic- from now on, Orange Motors is the shop I know I can trust.

I've been going to Addy for over 10 years or more now for my 1997 Z3 BMW. It took just one visit of having Orange Motors do services/repairs and I knew I found a shop I could trust. I truly believe you get what you pay for in most things and the repairs at times over the years are costly that's the way it is with the make of car I chose but again I've always been satisfied with Addy and his techs.

So happy with Addy and his crew!!! My service light came on on my way from Santa Monica back home to San Diego. Managed to get off the freeway and called the closest shop that works on Volvo, which also happened to have good reviews. I got towed to the shop by 2 pm, and Addy had it diagnosed right away. Unfortunately, my alternator needed to be replaced, so not the quick fix I was hoping for, but Addy was on it and assured me he would get me back on the road by noon the next day. As promised, my car was ready by noon. Orange Motors surely saved me from what could have been a very ugly, and drawn out predicament. Honest and trustworthy and truly cared about helping this woman traveling alone, just passing through town. Thank you Addy and crew!

The worst experience ever. Took my car in and told addie that my car had two issues. One being that i had a battery message come up and the check engine light on due to the gears sometimes get stuck and i have to turn off and back on. Not sure why he decided to just fix the battery issue and charged me $1300 to replace a new mercedez battery, labor, and inspection fee. He said that my car was so complicated and that they spend hours on my car (even though he specializes in german cars). A week later i get the check engine light on and i took it back for what ? Wo he can charge another $150 for inspection and he said that he cannot find the problem and that he drove it 18 miles and light went away. He said they scanned it with the machine and nothing came up. When i picked it up and he said to never bring my car in. A few weeks later i have the check engine light. SO DONT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE.l!!!

I had an oil leak and they were able to help with a very fair price and in just a day! They understood the issue because they do know their cars. I plan to go back to them in the future for any other issues. Also! They communicated very well. They gave me a call once my car was done and to let me know about any other concerns they had while they were under the hood. They didn't try to upsell me which was a huge relief. Fantastic shop, nice people and great communication!!

The main mechanic that runs the place (older dude with mustache) was honest during the diagnosis on my 2009 550i. He fixed the trans issue with my car at no charge (loose ground wire). He only charged me for the diagnosis. He may seem rude at first but he is extremely knowledgeable and knows what he is doing with his work.

We've been taking our cars to Orange Motors for years now. They are very competitive in pricing, and we've never had an issue that wasn't easily resolved, as Addie is always looking out for you! What I like is that they really look over the vehicles and let you know what's needed now verses perhaps waiting for a while... especially on the more expensive work. I am a repeat costumer with Orange Motors. The first thing I notice when i go there is the straight forward estimate of the job and no following additional costs. Addy is very knowledgeable and can diagnose the technical issues with the car in a short time and you can be sure to get a great service. I have had american and foreign built cars and have seen value in their service on both. I will always use them and suggest them to my friends too.

We had an issue with aftermarket headlights on our Sprinter. The previous owner installed them but they never worked correctly. Sadly we had to get new lights which were expensive, but Addy at Orange Motors sourced them for us and had them installed. We recently went for regular maintenance and the prices were quite reasonable compared to the dealers. We will continue to use Addy and Orange Motors while we have a Sprinter!

The white guy mechanic is one of the most honest people I've met. I accidentally left about 3000$ in cash inside the car and when I went to go pick the car up every single one of my bills was still there and he mentioned to never leave it inside my car. That lesson was learned. I can see why they are always booked when I call them!

I took my GLE Mercedes to this auto shop as it advertised its specialised in German cars. The main issue was the battery and there were few more issues. The owner of the shop called me few hours after I dropped it off and told me he can only change batteries today (both main and auxiliary batteries). He quoted me $1360 for both batteries. The main battery was not Mercedes original one. At the end of the day he called me and said he could not find were was the auxiliary battery located. Them for the other issues he said I need to bring it for at least two days. I ended up paying $861 for replacing just one battery with one that is not original one (price of which is likely in $200 range). He charged me several hours of labor for this simple job. On top of his ignorance, bad material and being overpriced, he used rude and arrogant. Will never go there again.

quite by chance I stopped by Orange Motors to my surprise I got A really good estimate on air conditioning for my 1995 Jaguar the work was done quickly and I am very pleased to have air conditioning again. I would not hesitate to have them work on my car again. Thank you guys.
