I am most graciously thankful for the service I received at Guaranteed Auto today. I’ve been procrastinating for far too long about repair an oil leak in my car, mostly due to lack of finances to pay for the work. Today I was serviced by Omar in the office and Jose doing work on my vehicle. They had excellent service, skilled workers and a professional establishment. Never sign any paperwork before doing inspection or fixing car they fail it and then they will tell you to fix it and offer you repair for very high amount I was doing break and lamp the fail once then the offer me $400 for fixing which was $50 repair And also once everything done the mechanic was check the smog system which was not belong to break and lamp inspection they were trying to get find something again and get money There scammer be careful to not agree on any amount and don’t sign anything then they will hostage the car and tell you your already sign the paper check other place before going there I had very bad experience never go again and not recommend it to someone else

I took my vehicle back in October, yes they were friendly they called me when they found out what the problem was so I can authorize the repair. I got it fixed, took it home and it shut off on me while I was driving. I called my brother in law to come look at it and one of the parts was not put on properly. So I take it back and let them know that the part was loose so if they can fix it. I picked it up they had told me they topped the fluids for me so that was nice of them. I was not working at the time so I was not driving as much. I finally started working and my starter needed to be replaced. I took it to another mechanic to get that fixed. Then one day it started sounding the same way as when I first took it to guarantee. So I got it diagnosed He told me it might have too much oil in it. So I had a mechanic look at it and sure enough the dipstick was full of oil. It was drained and wow. I also found that the vacuum they supposed to fix was not even properly put on. So they took it off and tightened it and put it back on. Now my vehicle runs smooth. I took it to guarantee because they had worked on my daughter's car and they did a great job. Yes they are friendly. I'm just disapointed and I won't ever take my vehicle back. This is the picture of all the oil that was drained yesterday. Update: I had to buy another car and nobody has contacted me.

I will say that they were upfront with what my car needed. Rick and Marcos were very helpful and honest. My car runs great and was returned in less time than expected. The only complaint is that my car was left dirty and greasy on the inside but I will return for regular maintenance. Thank you guys!

Great service, great people and the best prices. My vehicle needed a catalytic converter repair and the check engine light came on at the worst possible time. Had a horrible experience they kept my car for three days and didn’t fix a thing They said they couldn’t fix it because all the codes are old, which I know for a fact that is not true my Cadillac converters were messed up and they still are definitely would not recommend this place ever to anybody

Bye the rules of smog check they are supposed to do a walk around first while car is running to see if visually see if it smokes. They didn't do that until after they put tests on . So make sure they do a walk around first while car is running. It could have saved me money.

Went in for a brake and lamp inspection was told over the phone it would cost 140 then in person i was told 200. After waiting a day for them to inspect it they said it failed for my fenders and splash shield not being on the car. I told the guy over the phone that the parts were in my trunk because I had been working on my car and took them off and asked if they could put it on so it could pass and they wanted to charge 2 hours of labor which came out to an additional 300 bucks. It takes 20 min max to put a couple clips in… wouldn’t go here again 😕 Edit: hopefully you can go back to my phone call on 5/15 at 3:06 and hear if your employee said 140 or 200 because I definitely heard 140. If having the fender liners and splash shield off the car was a fail it should’ve been the first thing you seen when looking at my brakes and tires what’s the point wasting time with the whole inspection if that’s gonna fail it to begin with. I wouldn’t have minded paying your service fee if you weren’t trying to charge 2 hours of labor for a 20 min job 🤦🏽‍♂️.

For the California tune in tune up program. This shop was very good and got my car to pass smog. The only problem I have is they are very not good talking the phone. If they would have been more professional it’ll make it 10x better. But for the service they did to my car it was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you have the voucher for smog.

Had a smog check done and it was fast staff was friendly. Would get a 5 stars but I asked about an AC recharge and charging $160 just to diagnose when other places diagnose for free was a bit much, being that all I needed was a recharge $160+ the recharge amount (which was $268 at another shop which included an inspection and diagnostic) was a lot.
