Horrible experience with Hank’s Body Shop & Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Billings!
DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I was hit & ran and specifically told them that my rear tire was crooked & the car was unsafe to drive when I took it in. They did not include it in the estimate, and stated “we will align it and that should fix the issue”.
Fast forward 2 weeks, Brad Ohlin (manager) calls me and tells me they found an issue with the breaks, the rear wheel, etc etc and that it would cost almost double what I was quoted.
I FINALLY got my car back over a month later and immediately upon driving off the lot, noticed my car was now making a horrible noise (it sounded like I’m driving a dirt bike & my car had never made this sound before).
I drop it back off the next morning, and they then say it will be around another $500 to fix an issue that should have been found & fixed during the initial MONTH of having my vehicle & they refused to do anything to bring down the labor costs! This should have been fixed before giving my car back the first time!
HORRIBLE customer service & more frustrating because I had to pay thousands of dollars right at the holidays for an issue I didn’t cause & the car should have been throughly inspected for damage to begin with!
I have been LOYAL to Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Billings for 7 years since getting my Jeep & their affiliated body shop! To be milked for more and more money for a Hit & Run accident and their poor diagnostic work is awful & appalling!

First off, my truck is my pride and joy. I inspect it multiple times a day, and have done all maintenance on my own. Now for the details. Hanks did a great job with the actual damage repair, but upon inspection at home I noticed damaged/missing R&I parts and overall careless work. My truck was dead in the parking lot upon pickup, in which I was told to give it a look outside while the repaired side of my truck was parked mirror to mirror with another vehicle. Chip in the door, dimple in interior from leaning parts on the panel, screws missing from mudflap, window visors missing clips and installed incorrectly, positive cable cap floating around in engine bay, wheel weights just casually sitting in my cupholder with no mention of why, and more. Had a CEL upon leaving, was instantly told “we weren’t in the engine bay so it sounds like a service issue”… no. I should have known better to deal with Lithia AGAIN. If you need a vehicle repaired, don’t follow the reviews post-buyout.
