Whoever said this man was not honest did not actually visit this shop. He saved me $500 on necessary repairs. He saved a friend of mine $1,000 compared to dealer shop prices. My friend knows far more about cars than I and has trusted Hans for 3 years now. This is my first trip.

Han has been my wrench since I moved to the valley 14 years ago and a more magnificent pagan god of the automobile I have yet to meet. He has always been forthright and honest in his dealings with me, his service impeccable, his prices reasonable, and his solicitous ministrations on my vehicle helped to keep it running efficiently well after its presumed expiration date. So long as his shop is open, and I hope it will be for many years to come, he'll have my business.

He misdiagnosed my car, the problem was with the fuel pump and not the battery. The battery was bought around a year ago, so we still have the receipt for it. It broke down the road right after I paid for the bill. I got it towed and brought it to another mechanic who found out the problem was the fuel pump and also had to charge the supposed new battery Hans had replaced. He refused to give a refund for his mistakes, and also claimed that if it doesn’t do that while it’s with me I can’t fix it. So basically he will misdiagnose and expect you to waste your hard earned money for his mistakes.

If honesty and integrity are qualities you are looking for in your mechanic then Hans is your man. It is a small one man shop, but it is worth the wait to have Hans work on your car. Hans has over 20 years of experience as a Honda certified mechanic working for dealerships. Even that doesn't matter as much as his honesty and ethics, traits that can be in short supply in the auto mechanic field.

I recently had an oil leak in my 2011 Honda Fit. I took it to Hans to get it diagnosed and after a couple of mins on the lift he said that it was the rear main seal. If you are looking for a Honda specialist to do more service oriented repairs on your older Honda, Hans is the guy. It's a small but organized shop just off of Peoria and I highly recommend it.

Last year I had a highly rated Auto Center in Scottsdale replace the front brakes on my 2013 Lexus. Within a few days I noticed squeaking when I backed up my car from the driveway on cold wet mornings. I called the shop and ask them if they had used OEM brakes like I asked. He hadn't. That brake job was crazy expensive so I just lived with my squeaky wheels on cold wet mornings. Nine months later, after moving to Sun City, I felt it was time to do the rear brakes and found Han's and his Google reviews. I contacted him and left a message that I would like an estimate to replace all 4 brakes with OEM parts. Not only did he get back to me within a few hours with a price, the quote was two hundred dollars cheaper than what I was charged in Scottsdale for only my front brakes. Hans! You made a customer for life and thank you for using the parts I asked for. I had a panic stop the other day on the 101 and they performed just like they did when they were brand new.
