I want to leave an honest review for Honda of Hayward, and especially for Anna in customer service. After a car accident, I was dealing with multiple complicated and stressful issues—especially after another shop failed to properly fix my car. The situation was overwhelming, frustrating, and exhausting. From the moment Anna stepped in, everything changed. Anna took her time to understand the full situation, listened patiently, and handled everything with care, professionalism, and genuine compassion. She truly did her job perfectly and put real effort into every step of the process. It was incredibly refreshing to work with someone who was not only knowledgeable, but also kind, understanding, and calm during such a stressful time. She made a very difficult situation feel much more manageable, and I genuinely appreciate her support. Anna is an amazing human being and a true asset to Honda of Hayward. Had an excellent experience with the customer service representative. She is second to none. Came in for a routine maintenance and they didn’t fill my windshield washer fluid so that was a bummer. I have to go back because my car is stalling at red lights and they didn’t have time to diagnose it with Honda because I had a late appointment. I don’t fault them for that but I’m curious why Honda doesn’t know what the problem is since they have had many 25 Honda Oddyseys with this problem. There’s even a class action lawsuit brewing.

My experience with Hayward Honda from purchase to ongoing service, has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the fantastic team. For service, Michael Thompson is fantastic. Recently, there was a small mix-up with my appointment, but Michael and the service manager Basma, stepped in and fixed everything right away. They were super apologetic and made it more than right. This proactive approach from management turned a potential negative into a reinforced positive. It's clear this dealership is committed to customer satisfaction. It's so refreshing when a company actually listens and acts immediately. This is my first Honda and this is my go-to dealership from now on! Highly recommend.

Great Customer Service received from my Service Advisor Ms. Ana Martinez! She is very pleasant to deal with, always smiling and sweet and very helpful. She answered all my questions to my satisfaction. We were also greeted by Jonathan DeLuz when we came for our appointment and he notified Ana that we are there for our appointment. Jonathan DeLuz was nice and helpful and also provided great customer service to me and my family when we were there for our Odyssey’s Maintenance Service. In addition, we didn’t have to wait long for the services to be done. It only took an hour as Ana said. I’m happy with the customer service received from Ana Martinez, Jonathan DeLuz and Hayward Honda Service Dept.! Thank you very much Ana and Jonathan! You are both an asset to Hayward Honda. My car hit 30k miles and I needed several services done including oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and tire rotation done. While yes it is more expensive to get it done at a dealership I do rely on my car to make a living. Maintenance is cheaper than a new vehicle. What impressed me the most was that one I was a bit late for my appointment but they still checked me in and the second was that they were able to finish everything in a timely manner. Last they did go over what the found on my vehicle and documented it with photos and videos.

Stopped by with an appointment around 11:45A on a Saturday- Their online appointment system is very convenient and easy to maneuver, it makes rescheduling easy as well since I was running late We were helped by Dan Nguyen! He was very friendly, knowledgable and patient with us He happened to have some batteries available for our key fobs and didn’t charge us for the replacement Took my honda pilot in for the A1 service notification which was- oil change and tire rotations Overall, super quick and friendly service Highly recommended and will definitely be back Thank you Dan and the Honda team at Hayward Honda!

Wait time: Made an appointment for the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving holiday. They were very busy when I arrived so I was in line behind others waiting. It took some time for a service advisor to get to me. Once my car was processed the quote was about 1hr 15mins, but took around 2 hours instead. Wait area: I waited onsite for the service to be completed. Comfortable, clean , and spacious waiting area. Complimentary coffee and tea available. Customer Service: Ana was my service advisor. She was thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. She provided logical and informative advice on services I was considering. Another employee provided a recommendation of a nearby body shop since I was considering getting my vehicle repainted. The recommended body shop responded to my inquiry quickly and with a reasonable quote. Overall: The two times I've come to Hayward Honda for service, they've been very busy. Wait time to be seen by a service advisor might be the only place for growth I experienced. Customer service, work quality, pricing, and well-organized location make up for it. I highly recommend this service center.

I took my Honda CR-V Hybrid in for an oil change and brake fluid change. My Service Advisor, Robert Miller, is always helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant. He noted the technician found a rodent nest in my engine, so he cleaned it all out and sprayed it with a deterrent. I’ve ordered an LED device that repels rodents for a more permanent solution, and I will take it to Robert to install when I receive it. This is the first time I’ve bought a new car and continued to get all my service done at the dealership after the warranty expired. My experiences with Robert at Hayward Honda have changed my mind about that. Their fees are reasonable, they have a nice waiting area and they’ll call you a Lyft for longer jobs. First class operation in my book.

Robert, a service advisor, made this visit 5 stars for me. I appreciated his attention to detail when walking me through the service team’s findings with my vehicle as well as identifying other things for me to keep an eye on without making it feel like he was trying to sell me anything. He was very honest and it was refreshing to just have things presented without pushiness of it needing to be done that day. It was like taking your car to a trusted friend. This is my first service visit at Howard Honda Service Center, where we purchased our new car, Honda CR-V Hybrid - Sports Touring SUV in early 2025. Took my CRV 2024 Honda into Hayward Honda and had the best customer service ever. Things have really improved and changed at Hayward Honda, since 2014 when I purchased my first brand new Honda Accord Sport. I decided in December 2025 to give Hayward Honda another chance. All I can say is Wow, Wow! Customer service has improved and services for the vehicle has changed dramatically. Also, I appreciate all the great service received along with a Lyft home until my vehicle was done. Beautiful, Beautiful ❤️❤️The great video sent to show me the health of my vehicle also was awesome. It gave me a clear picture of the health of my used vehicle. I'm so happy to have my vehicle serviced in the community I live in. Thanks Hayward Honda and thanks Ana Martinez. Ana is a very nice advisor and knows her job well. She has superb customer service skills and cares about the customer. This is the first time I've ever felt welcomed at Hayward Honda in a long time. I want to leave an honest review for Honda of Hayward, especially for Anna in customer service. Ana is very professional, honest, and trustworthy. My sister lives in Hayward and previously had a great experience with her, so she strongly recommended that I come here. I live in West Sacramento and was hesitant to drive that far for an AC inspection and repair. As a college student who doesn’t know much about cars, I was worried about being overcharged or not fully understanding the issue. After my sister spoke with Ana and explained the problem, I decided to make the drive from Sacramento to Hayward — and I’m very glad I did. Ana carefully inspected my vehicle, recharged the AC system, replaced the AC compressor, and replaced another related component. Everything was covered under a manufacturer recall, so there was no cost to me. They were efficient and helped coordinate getting my car picked up and returned quickly. The entire process was smooth and professional. If I had gone somewhere else, I may not have been informed about the recall and could have paid a significant amount unnecessarily. Ana was transparent throughout the process, and my AC is now working perfectly. I truly appreciate her honesty and integrity. I highly recommend Honda of Hayward. The staff is friendly, and Ana is exceptional

tl:dr: if you value your car, time, and money, I highly suggest going somewhere else that is more deserving of your business that this shop. Update **Service manager reached out and asked me to bring the vehicle over so they can inspect the damages. Brought the car over and they took photos of the damage. They also informed me that they did not do the tire rotation as the security lug nuts were stripped, I was charged for the service initially but got refunded. I told them that the right side was definitely rotated and the tires are no longer where they were before dropping it off and it definitely drove different after picking up the car. Advisor then tells a different story of them being able to remove the right side wheels but not the left, so they just put the right side back to how it was. I told that they definitely rotated it and I was just requesting to put it back to how it was before. They can no longer do it as the security lug nut key is too stripped and it just spins. Service manager asked me to review the footage of their inspection and proceeds to gaslight me into thinking that I don’t know anything about my car that I’ve been driving and kept pointing at the video of the brand of tire that was at front - proving that they put it back to how it was. At this point I was already done with them so I just left. This whole “making it right” costed 2 hours of my time wasted, and $200 of labor and parts to correct their mistake that they won’t admit to, and no resolution to the problem. ** Came for engine oil and transmission fluid change, tire rotation, and to repair a leak on my Acura. Dropped off my car and requested to opt out of their complimentary car wash as I do not trust automatic car wash so I hand wash, always. When I returned to pick up my car, they ran it through their car wash that I specifically asked them not to do, but did it anyway. So now my car has fresh swirl marks and water spots… I hurried back home to properly wash the car and try to reverse the damage made. That’s when I noticed more damages were made. One wheel now has fresh curb marks. Door ding on the driver side with deep scratches that I could not buff out. Deep scratches on the rear spoiler, also could not fully buff out. Car has two different pair of tires, but each axle matches. Tire rotation was performed in an x pattern instead of front to back, which would still keep same tires together, so now both axles have mismatched tires, which causes the car to pull to the left. All of this was brought to the service advisor’s attention, which then made it to the manager. They offered to polish the scratches and fix the tire rotation, but at this point I just don’t trust them with my car anymore. Hopefully the repairs and service done to my car were actually done properly. It’s a shame as my experience was actually great, up until I picked up the car. Ana was very helpful. I just wish that they would be more careful handling customer’s vehicles that they spent their hard earned money on, and honor customer requests.

I had a great experience at Hayward Honda thanks to Robert Miller. He provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Robert was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain everything about my car service. I really appreciated his honesty and how smooth he made the whole process. It’s not always easy finding someone you trust with your car, but Robert definitely earned mine. Highly recommend asking for him if you need service
