I hate writing reviews, but in this case I thought I’d make an exception: - this was the only place that didn’t tell me they had a 3-5 week wait list to fix my Transmission - Adrian told me exactly (and up front) what kind of expense I could expect with this type of repair and what my options were - no last minute surprises - they worked with my requested time line without even raising an eyebrow - I’ve since driven about 4 hours worth, and my car feels like new! - also, their door alarm kept screaming at me every time I walked in, made me feel like home :) Highly Recommend!

Guys are polite and were able to get my truck looked at quickly but their prices were double all nearby competitors. Went to J&S Gear Co. up the street and paid nearly the same amount($200) to fix my differential leak as these guys charged($180) me to look at the leak. Oh they also tried to sell a $1600 service that was not needed...

HB Transmission is the ONLY place I will go to for transmission work. They rebuilt my 4R100 in my 2000 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke with heavy duty components, Kevlar clutches, HD torque converter at a fair price. I run a Hydra chip on the 65HP tune with it, and I beat the snot out of it. Absolutely zero problems and they rebuilt it 2 years ago. I can honestly say this is the only mechanic shop I’ve been to where I didn’t notice someone worked on my truck, the install was that seamless. They even reinstalled my trans temperature gauge sender, a lot of shops wouldn’t do that in my experience. These guys will take care of you.

We had a transmission issue with my mom’s F150 truck, and I had really no idea where to start on where I was taking it to get looked at. I saw HB Transmission on Google, and seemed to be a local business with good reviews. Adrian was very welcoming and got right to investigating the issue with the transmission. He made sure to call me before anything was done to the truck to explain what he’d be doing, and the cost. The truck ended up having a full transmission rebuild and was done in less than a week. Everything Adrian quoted on the rebuild was accurate when we picked it up, and paid for the repairs. I would highly recommend this family owned business for any of your car or truck repairs. I really appreciate Adrian and the Team! I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe that needed a full transmission rebuild, plus other work such as seals and belts. They got me in same day with no appointment needed, called me next day with all of the diagnostics and got to rebuilding and other repairs the same week. I picked the Tahoe up and was all set within 5 days and it felt better than new. I’ve gone back since again for other check ups and work done, still no appointment needed and fixed within 24 hours. Super honest Team and explained in great detail all of the repairs and status. Was much cheaper than the other shops nearby by almost 2 thousand dollars for a transmission rebuild. Buyer beware !!! They rebuilt my transmission, I payed them for a heavy duty rebuild on my 4R100 I dident last 2,500 miles. Cost me over 1,000 in hotel and car and towing. They said it was a bad torque converter but they wouldn't tell me the manufacturer. They dident properly fix but they said I was good to go so I towed my trailer to Washington and dident put more then 1,400 miles and it blew up again thousand of dollars later I had it rebuilt at Amco they told me all the parts from the last rebuild were low quality parts it was the planetary assembly that blew up and they said the reason it was slipping on the way to Washington was a poor quality torque converter so the h.b. transmission rebuild cost me like 6,400 + all the towing and hotel and rental brought the $ amount close to 10,000 fora crap rebuild job. Don't take a chance with this shop the parts and labor are crap.

Also~ While getting ready to leave I realized I needed my ladder on the back of my van repaired. Adrian at HB Transmission & Auto Repair truly deserves all the praise. I had the transmission filter and fluid replaced with Amsoil, along with a PPE transmission pan installed on my 2023 F-150 Raptor. The team did an outstanding job with clear, professional communication from start to finish. They even re-tightened a loose jam nut I had previously noticed and took the time to let me know about it. It’s a great feeling knowing I can trust a shop like this. I was so impressed, I already scheduled another appointment to have the radiator flushed on my daughter’s 2020 Sonata Hybrid. Highly recommend!
