Very unprofessional, says they are 5 years behind because only 2 people work there. Have seen his work being repaired at other shops, cuts LOTS of corners and thinks he know more than what he does about campers. Told me my Regal home cabin was something else. I had the title and called the RV hall of fame and museum and they laughed at him for not knowing what it was.

We have known Tim Heintz since joining the Tin Can Tourists back in 2016. We met him at a TCT rally in GA and he was down to earth and made us feel very welcome. We consider him a good friend as well. Tim is very professional, honest and is a walking encyclopedia regarding vintage campers. We continue to be amazed at his knowledge. He loves his job and takes great pride in every camper that enters his shop. While working on our '57 Airstream and '70 Shasta, I often contacted Tim with numerous questions and concerns. He always took the time to answer and address each and every one. Had we gotten to a stumbling point and could proceed no more, we would have made the pull up to his shop for him to complete them. When it came time for an appraisal on each of the above campers for insurance purposes, Tim sent us a very professional appraisal on each one. I would have no problem with Tim and his excellent staff working on any camper of ours. If there is a wait list, get on it. You won't be sorry. You will receive perfection and will truly be a "Happy Camper".

After having no success with two dealerships, Tim Heintz and his staff were able to find and repair an intermittent leak we had in our Airstream. He did a thorough inspection before we took our trailer on an extended cross-country trip. The trailer was returned to us with a detailed inspection report, and it was extremely clean, as if no one had been in it. We were very pleased with the service we received from Heintz Designs.

If I could put no Stars I would. My first mistake was to leave my Airstream 310 at this workshop to have all my sliding windows to be resealed along with slider tracks. The outside frames were butchered and the tracks weren’t replaced, instead I was told that the slider tracks were cleaned and swapped between top and bottom, One of the windows had the track removed and not put back. The work definitely didn’t happen and yet I was charged over $800 just for the slider tracks. Also one of the 12 volt charger outlets was supposed to be fixed at a cost of nearly $200 was still blowing any plus that was put into it. I brought this to Tim’s attention and was hoping to get refunded, instead I was threatened with a lawsuit if I was to post a negative review on the internet. I took Tim at blind faith and singed off the work, shortly after a gruelling 18 hours of traveling from the Uk. My wife and I just wanted to hit the road. I’d also like to mention that in the year Tom had my RV, his communication with me was almost non existent, I would email and call countless times with zero response for months, this became stressful and frustrating. The pics can speak for themselves. Tim’s respond in his own words. please be aware that while the First Amendment protects freedom of speech, it still allows individuals who publish those statements to be sued for defamation. I recently had an AC unit installed in my 1963 shasta camper by Tim Heinz, and I couldn’t be happier. The AC is very quiet and low profile! I had to take my camper back due to the AC leaking from the condensation into my camper and they promptly fixed the issue without any hassle. Additionally, they helped resolve several other problems with my camper, making it much more comfortable to live in full-time. I highly recommend! Thank you!
