Henry's Foreign Auto is professional, honest and reliable. They worked on number of mine and my family members cars for about 15 years now. I hope they will keep the shop going for many years - I would rather buy a bicycle than look for a new mechanic!

Talked to them on the phone last week, I had the check hybrid system light on my camry and it wasn't running, and the younger guy told me they could get to it the same day. All I needed was the codes, its something that should take about 15 minutes or less to check and write down. Car was there for a whole week. No calls until I called them on Wednesday. The older guy told me they had some emergency and couldn't get to it so I said I'd come pick it up. Next day I called and the younger guy answers, tells me they're working on it right taking a look right now, and I was surprised. So I said alright I'll come by, and as soon as I finished talking to him they call me back, it's the older guy saying the younger guy "misunderstood" and then hung up on me. So I have wasted a week at this place on something that should've taken 15 minutes, they've lied to me twice, been unprofessional as can be, and done nothing. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere.

We have trusted in Henry's Foreign auto for many years with both our 1983 Mercedes 240d, and now with our 2005 VW Passat TDI wagon. We just Love them! GREAT Service! and GREAT Pricing! With our most recent transmission flush along with replacing our timing belt, water pump and a few odd and ends (which Slavek and Luke always perform amazingly!!!.) Our Passat is ready for some road trips this summer! Thank You to the Henry's family! Todd and Rebecca Bjornson

Absolutely thrilled to have taken my car to Henry's Foreign Auto Service. Lukasz diagnosed my issue and had my VW Eurovan back to me by the week's end. I was dreading the words, "You need a new transmission," but was relieved to have it fixed and back running at a fraction of that anticipated cost.

The wife's 2005 Jaguar XJ8 is her work car and had a failing transmission. Though rare for the ZF6HP26 to fail, it had not had proper maintenance by the time we acquired the Jag. We worked with Slavek to arrange for a used transmission to be updated and installed. It ended up also needing the trans coolant lines replaced and the motor mounts. The entire job was completed under 1 week without a problem. Slavek allowed me to locate and purchase the used trans, and even commented that I had done a proper job with an attempt to replace the fluid/filter/pan. They also provided a short list of various issues the car should have repaired, but did not push to have those done by Henry's. I have since resolved those issues myself, and the Jag is back in excellent running condition. Henry's is a clean, well-run shop that I recommend to any needing a car repair properly done, honestly and quickly.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have discovered Henry's Foreign Auto Service. Earlier this year we purchased a used Toyota Tundra off of Craigslist and the "Check Engine" light came on later that day (of course!). We originally took it to the Toyota Dealership and you know how that is ... hours of waiting around, poor communication, poor diagnosis, coming back in multiple times. After a couple rounds of that we decided to see if they could help us out - not only did they accurately diagnose the problem, fix it for a reasonable rate, but also went the extra mile to help us get it to pass at DEQ. Lukasz and team have since helped us with multiple issues on multiple cars and we have nothing but great things to say!

My wife and I have been trading with Henry's now for several years. Absolutely thrilled with the work they do on our european cars. Because of their experience level, they are able to diagnose problems very quickly which means we are not in the shop for very long. They have been very good to us with reasonable repair bills. If you are looking for someone to care for your european ride, Henry's is the place! - The Lauermans

Great service. Technician Josh and manager Lukasz know their job very well. Apart from quickly diagnosing my vehicle, they provided me with valuable advice. Will return if/when I need someone professional and honest to look at my car.

Brought my Range Rover in, purchasing it a couple days prior in Portland, for scheduled service and to check everything over. Initially they quoted it’d be done by Monday night or Tuesday for $2,941. I ask if he’d do a better price if I have it all done at once he quotes $2,500, then I noticed a charge for $40 to rotate the tires, I ask what if we remove that, he agrees then to $2,450, I agree and proceed. Job #1 - diagnostics, list of recommendations Job #2 - hood cable - it is on the way from dealer Job #3 - water pump leaks - at the same time both belts and idler and tensioner Job #4 - transmission service Job #5 - engine minor service Job #6 - replace transfer case fluid Job #7 - replace differential fluids Job #8 - flush brake fluid Tuesday comes and no contact, so I email to find out it’s not ready because “Tomorrow. We had to bail out poor tourist from being stuck in our area. Hope you understand that.” My problem is not the fact that they weren’t done when promised or helped a “poor tourist”, but didn’t have the courtesy to let me know, when they knew, it wasn’t going to be done on time. Then Wednesday at 4pm, I still hadn’t heard from them, again, so I email to find out still not done. Their reply “Should be done tomorrow”. Waiting all day Thursday for the call or email to let me know it’s ready....nothing! Finally at 4:15 I call to find out it’s done. Go to pay and the charges are $2,530 ($80 higher than agreed on). I just find it unacceptable to quote somebody a time and then not have the courtesy or respect to notify them when they can’t meet their own deadline. I just hope their mechanical work is done better than their customer service. Updated 8/13/18 Drove the car about 30 miles and it went in limp mode and before I could pull over, it overheated and died. Had to push it to a safe location then have a wrecker service tow it back to Henry’s. Slavek sent email with a new list of repairs he expected me to pay for which was an additional $1,781.46. I called for explanation, he said read the email and proceeded to hang up while I was trying to ask details. They are the absolute worst place I’ve ever dealt with! No way will they ever touch any of my vehicles again. I sent tow service back out to have it picked up and serviced elsewhere. Do not take your vehicle here!!

I have been looking for quite a while for a good shop to work on my Mercedes Sprinter Van. Was going to the Mercedes Dealer and simply appalled at the high prices and lack of clear communication and attentive service. So I was referred to Henry's and my experience has been TOP RATE! Slavek and his crew were super clear in giving an estimate - checked out the van for what it needed - and charged very reasonably prices compared to the Dealer! They did the job very quickly and gave a very clear and easy to understand bill. All in all a super pleasant experience and I am soooo glad to have found a great place to work on Sprinter Vans! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had major service done here on my 1990 Volvo 240 back in 2015. New cooling system, milled head, new head gasket. Big job. Well? I’m writing you 100k miles down the road to say thanks. This car will not die. Have had 0 issues, Henry’s did an amazing job. I only wish I lived closer so I could do business with them more often.

After years of taking my (formerly) new Mercedes to the dealer for service I was so grateful to find Henry's. They are reasonable, communicate clearly with estimates and service, and the quality of work is very high. I hesitated to trade my Mercedes in until I confirmed they would work on my new Lexus as well! They always tell you what you really need for service, and what you might need coming up, but never try to upsell you to more than you actually need. I recently had a weird issue with my Lexus and Slavek researched it for me, even though the car needed to return to the dealer for the actual service. That's amazing customer service!

Fair prices for auto repair. Luke is son of owner or he’s also part owner. Very very good used cars! They deal in foreign autos. I purchased a 2011 SUV Audi and it was like new. Just like driving a car off the sales floor of an Audi dealership. Plus it is diesel so runs forever. They have also sold cars for us. Sales are always fair to all parties. I feel free to just stop by on my way to work and have mechanical question answered. Luke is my go to guy but his father ( can’t remember his name ) is just as professional. The woman in their office is top notch and very nice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy or sell a foreign vehicle. 10 stars for Henry’s in Phoenix Oregon on highway 99. My friend bout a used Jaguar there for 5,000 or less about 6-7 years ago and couldn’t be more pleased.

I went to Henry's twice. The first time I had a dashboard warning light that I hadn't seen before. Luke checked it out, tightened the fuel cap, cleared the code, and said there was no charge. 5 stars for that experience. Second visit, I scheduled an oil change and a general inspection. For a Mini Cooper, I'd expect such service to run about $100. Shocked to get a bill for over $300. They had changed the engine air filter and cabin air filters without asking me. I change those filters myself, so I know what they cost. I went in to pick up the car and discuss the charges. I told Luke that I would have liked to be informed of the need for the air filter change. His response was to say, "We just won't check the filters then." 1 star for that experience.

I took my son's vehicle in for a specific repair at Henry's. Days later they called to let me know it's fixed. And they wanted to do additional work for more money costing about $4500. Which I was surprised. My son drove the vehicle and complained of the same issue with the car shaken again. I took the car to a different local mechanic and they diagnosed the same issue Henry"s claimed to have fix. The new local mechanic fix the same plugs and coil Henry's claimed to have replaced and my son's vehicle runs perfect. And I must add the check engine light is off and I walked out of the new mechanic shop with no $4500 job that needs be done. Say alot on trust

Henry's is a very high quality foreign auto repair shop - I have been to them twice to have a water pump, pulleys, belts, ignition coil, wires, and plugs replaced on my Land Rover Disco 2 and they did a great job both times. Luke and Slavek are very experienced with Land Rovers and can diagnose the issue much faster than other shops because of their vast experience and expertise with Euro cars. They can also fit you in with their schedule even if they are busy! I have called their neighbors at Aaron's to try to have something done and every time I call they are booked out several weeks which I think is ridiculous. Even though Henry's is busy, they will fit you in and get you back on the road quickly. I will definitely be back for future repairs and maintenance.

Do not bring your car here. They don't know what they are doing and all they want is your money. We bought our Eurovan to them because it was stalling out on hills and lost power. They proceeded to spend thousands of our dollars without fixing our problem and seemed to not care about us. All they wanted was the money. I finally went online and found someone who had similar problems and they replaced the fuel pump and it ran great. So i purchased a pump and they gave me an estimate to install it and call me saying it was more complicated than they estimated and charged us another $400 dollars. They are not trustworthy.

If you own a a Jaguar or Land Rover/Range look no further than Henry’s! The whole team is super professional and very knowledgeable. They were super helpful during a pre purchase inspection where I had brought my Jaguar to them before buying and they throughly went through the car and under the car and then even brought me back to the lift and showed me some of the issues that they were gonna be putting down on the inspection instead of just writing a whole bunch of random stuff the actually showed me everything that need addressing and was able to take that back to the lot and get a better deal and free service done on my car as apart of the deal. They also fixed a big coolant leak problem I was having recently that ended up costing me around 3.4k and now everything is amazing and no coolant is burning where as another shop had tried replacing to coolant components and it continue the problem and was just a waste of my money. They really know what they are doing here at Henry’s and they have amazing part sourcing and connections. They also go above and beyond and have already been very helpful with some suggestive services and inspections on things they’ve had to replace to fix on jaguars of my year to make sure I don’t run into some of the same problems they’ve had with other customers jaguars. 10/10 experience and will continue to bring my Jaguar here anytime I need anything. They also helped me even reset my back Auto window feature that had went out due to unplugging my battery at some point for free and got it back working. Thank you Henry’s 👌🙏

They are doing repairs on my husband's 1984 Jaguar.
