I was recommended to Heppner's by a mechanic and am absolutely satisfied with the service and the fix Heppner's provided. They assisted me with the claim process with my insurance, kept me updated 1-2x per week via phone and even assisted me with getting a rental car for a trip out of town. The damage that was there on arrival to Heppner's is no longer detectable at all. They also got my car back to me detailed inside, what a great surprise! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing auto body work!

I had a very disappointing experience with the staff at this location. I called to ask about getting my own rear passenger window glass installed. The person on the phone quoted me $120, which I agreed to, and then immediately hung up without any further details or confirmation. When I called back to clarify, she said, “My guys are gone,” and ended the conversation. The tone was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I expected better communication and basic courtesy. I wouldn’t recommend this location based on how I was treated over the phone. The phone call was not cutting out. The connection was perfectly clear on my end, and the tone I received was rude and unprofessional. There was no mention of needing to call before 2 p.m. I’m not here for excuses. I left this review so others know how I was actually treated and can reconsider doing business here.

I was not able to drive it to drop it off because I couldn't drive due to a seizure that I had back in March, they came and picked it up and got it done in just over a week. They communicated with me via text every business day with updates and had it done before anticipated. Before and after photos attached.

Did good work on the accident work, but don’t believe any of their above and beyond promises. Also, don’t be surprised if your car is returned completely on E. Job took way longer than estimated. Verbally promised to take out some small dings for no additional charge, but didn’t follow through. I also had to ask 2x for a small side estimate because the first time I talked to estimator was forgotten about. After I got my car, I got text at 7 pm asking if I was completely satisfied, and I said no, mentioning a new dung and the gas being on E. Received a phone call at 8:05 am the next morning with an attitude. (Horrible way to start the day!) They said they’d speak to my estimator to get his side of the story about whether he promised to remove dings for free, but never called back with a follow up. Was told the low gas tank was my fault because they normally require cars being dropped off have a full tank of gas. Point is… don’t expect them to go above and beyond, but the stuff replaced from the accident feels and looks good 2 days in. At this point, I wouldn’t go back because of that 8 am phone call with the attitude. Also, I think my car was dinged while it was there. The angry phone caller said it’s in the claim pictures, which I’m guessing is true, but my car was there 3 days before the estimate happened. Still think it happened in their parking lot. Either way, the estimator obviously didn’t follow through on his verbal promise (that was willing given without me asking) to remove any dings for free before I got it back. EDIT: Changed rating from 3 stars to 1 star based on the fact they could reply here publicly but not call me back (which is ANOTHER broken word by this shop). Starting to think the other reviewer saying this shop gaslights might be onto something, unfortunately. I thought it was just an outlier. This shop did tell me they would remove any dings for free WITHOUT me asking that from them, and they cannot even call back to apologize for not keeping their word. I mean Marshall voluntarily told me that he would remove any dings after I shared with him that I bought the car from my elderly mom, so any dings where there before I bought the vehicle. Such a nice, kind moment was just a lie. So, like I said, do NOT trust this shop to go above and beyond. Yea, there's nothing I can do to hold them to it, but what happened to keeping your word these days? Then saying you'd talk to Marshall and get back to me, but never call back (yet can reply here, which I only added a review after enough time passed making it clear the shop wasn't going to call me back)? It's gross that you treat customers this way once you're paid. Additionally, my tire light came on 48 hours after I received the car back. The invoice says they removed/replaced the wheel, but it was only on 18 PSI and my other tires were at 33 PSI. For as long as they had my car, I do not understand why they could not keep their word and why I am having tire pressure issues already where the accident was. They had my car like two months. Given how long my car was there, I am shocked how rushed my car repair feels, including how the "detailing" job looked. I am normally an easy going person, but I am seriously regretting taking my car here. I am lacking such confidence in their work now that I'm seriously considering getting my car looked at by someone else. But, now I have to figure out the tire/rim issue first.

I do not recommend to take your vehicle here. I was lied to as well as other customers that if your car is serviced here it would be secure overnight. They listed multiple measures they take including checking doors after locking, to make sure the car is locked. So it was very alarming to me when St. Paul Police Department Sargent Garvey called to tell me stolen property of mine turned up in a backpack of a woman arrested downtown. Somehow this person or persons was able to enter my vehicle while at Heppner's on West 7th Street in Saint Paul, meaning it was not secured. They stole several items and paperwork containing my home address, phone number, and other personal information, that Heppner's had in the vehicle. When I went to retrieve my stolen property, I found items from a Jeep Wrangler, and an enterprise rental car mixed in with my items. This tells me there were more cars unlocked than just mine, and I am not even sure if these people are aware their vehicles were entered and stolen from. I was apologized to over the phone by the owner, Josh. However, I went to Heppner's in person today hoping to share the information that it was more than just my vehicle entered. Josh would not admit to Heppner's leaving my vehicle unsecured or apologize to my face. His word choice was "I apologized to you on the phone yesterday." Aside from all of this, I was already unhappy receiving my car back as they told me they needed to keep the car another day for cleaning/detailing. When I got the car back it was filthy and covered in shop dust from when they had the back end off. The car stunk so bad like musty shop I rode in it only 20 minutes, and smelled like the must at work the rest of the day. My car smelled like nice leather when I dropped it off. Both air filters have been changed and the smell is still lingering as well as finding what seems to be perhaps carpet powder that got wet and turned into a crusty mess similar to mud, minus the dirt? That's my best guess at what was all over the floor mats, that was not previously there. Between the poor workmanship and lies I would not recommend putting any trust at this shop. I wish I would have taken photos of how it looked before spending 4 hours cleaning it myself yesterday but the last thing I wanted to do was write a bad review. Customers/ potential customers deserve to know they are being lied to.

Incredible service and professionalism. I had a deep dent in the body of my car from vandalism. Dropped the car off on Monday morning and it was done by 1 pm the next day. Communication was excellent as they kept me posted via phone through each step of the process. They also washed the car and cleaned the interior, and I'm not just talking about vacuuming the carpet. They really cleaned it everywhere. Man, did my car need it too! Summer at the front desk was a pleasure to work with as well, very professional. It was also convenient that Enterprise Rent A Car shares the building with them. Convenient for those getting a rental while the car is being worked on. They were great too, but that's a different review.

Straight liars. They even refuse to warranty the work I paid separately for outside what insurance covered.There is no guarantee/warranty on workmanship,pain or anything. They do shoddy work, take shortcuts, improper prep, and damage your car whilst doing repairs. Take your car anywhere else. I will be posting phots again. Gotta dig em out since they took down the last review again. Just as a reminder, you painting my front bumper was separate from the repairs. You guys refuse to honor your lifetime warranty on it. As well as any of your workmanship on the repairs from the insurance. You had my car in twice, these photos show your results. Stop gaslighting and act like professionals. Edit: The insurance company has told me different. They are also not the ones in charge of you honoring your "guarantee". Someone is lying here.

Someone hit my parked car and scratched my bumper. I was sent to Heppner’s on 7th street for a new one and I am very pleased with how clean the exterior of my car was upon pickup. They were very professional and updated us frequently on the status of our car. I got in and noticed how clean the interior of my car was as well!!! I was pleased and thankful for all they’ve done and the time they spent cleaning my car inside and out! Staff were very welcoming and kind, I would highly recommend!

Amazing service and work. I was backed into in a parking lot and made an appointment for an estimate. Because it was a scratch and not a dent I was told it could be buffed out right away. Heppner's was great to work with start to finish for auto body work from a fender bender. Summer answered all my questions and Marshall was great at keeping me updated on the progress. A remote estimate option was available for me to send in my own photos to get the process started. Also got an exterior wash and interior vacuum detail which was a nice surprise. Probably the best customer service I’ve received anywhere in last 12 months. Helped guide me through claim process, found spot for me to get on schedule on short notice, and like detailed my car during repairs. We’re also extremely patient and communicative. Pushed to get my car done when I’d be at my office so I could easily pick it up. While I hope I don’t have another accident, if I do I won’t be going anywhere else.

Terrible place to take your vehicle to get it repaired! They gave me an estimated on the repairs when I brought my vehicle in. So I submit the estimates to the insurance. Got a check from the insurance and bring my vehicle in to get it repair. A few days later, got a call back from them saying that the repairs gonna be double what the original estimated cost was. I could have fix it myself for 1/10 of what they billed the insurance. This place is a scam. I will never do business with them again and wouldn't recommend anyone too.

Writing another review since I can't update/respond to more gaslighting. On top of refusing to do quality repairs for the insurance part of it. They also refused workmanship for the paint on the bumper that I paid separately for. The paint spattered all over my car from it. Causing a couple thousand in damage. Went ahead and paid another deductible rather than try to keep working with these guys. Sad I had you use insurance for your shoddy work and ethics. They continue to lie and refuse to warranty the work to this day. Disgusting manager/owner really.

This was a first time using Heppner's. They were extremely helpful in helping us work with the insurance company to make the experience efficient and pain-free. The estimate for both the work and the time necessary were accurate and they communicated with us every step of the way. To top it off they cleaned and detailed the car before pickup – which ended up being earlier than expected. No hesitation in recommending Heppner's.
