I was quoted a price to have a replacement key made and my car reprogrammed. When I returned to pick up my car, the cost was almost $100 more. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper! Though the car was purchased at HG, in the future, I will take it elsewhere(maybe Gray Daniels) in the future for any issues I have.

They are slow they said they were behind 3 days and couldn't get to my car until at least 1 p.m. when all I needed was to CK the A/C and that was after sitting in the service lane for at least 10 if not 15 minutes I left there and went to Goodyear in Pearl Goodyear took excellent care of me and only took maybe an hour if that long.

I would advise people to stay away from Herrin Gear Service Department, they are unprofessional and don’t want to be bothered. They are not friendly at all, and dealing with them is an uncomfortable experience, I dread taking my car in for repairs and wish I had purchased it from somewhere else.

The manager did not seem concerned, they are the only dealership that I know of that refuse to supply loaner vehicles. My advice is to not do business with them. Purchased a $36,000 vehicle from the dealership and have taken it in for repairs 3 times and the problem still exists

My family and I have patronized this dealership my entire life buying numerous cars from them and utilizing their repair services as well. A week before Christmas I took my car to Herein Gear’s Chevrolet Service Department. A car purchased from this dealership. I asked for a loaner vehicle and was told they “had none” and that I would be put on a list and a month later they still have my vehicle unfinished and I am carless. I have called numerous times inquiring about a loaner and I keep getting pushed aside by everything at this dealership from the service technician Fod or Fob and the management of this dealership. I am displeased and disappointed with this dealership because Ive lost income because I am carless. Needless to say I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership if this is how they treat their longtime customers.

The worst experience I have ever had at a so called professional dealership service department. The only service department that refuses to give loaner cars when the car that I purchased from their dealership needed repairs. The manager and his manager are very unconcerned. I guess a person has to be a certain color to get good service over there.

Because I have a very efficient service technician who is friendly, professional and works hard to get you in and verifies with me up front what is due as far as maintenance including the reason for my service appointments proposed by me and according to mileage requirements. His attitude when asked what the cost will be is not offensive and he does not mind your inquiry. I have been blessed by his ability to do his job well and keep truthfully to the time of getting me in and out in good time. I'll recommend him to anyone.

I have not had the best experiences in the past when dealing with Herrin Gear and have heard many horror stories. If it was not for Fod in the service department I would not be back. He is a true asset to this department. Very polite, knowledgeable and understanding to the limits he has been given. They should constantly remind him of how great they are to have him in the building. Somethings I can tell is outside of his control be he handles it well. I wanted to say thank you for your help!

Took forever to get my vehicle back. I understand supply chain issues. But they did not give regular communication about the status of my vehicle or the reason for the delay. We didn't hear anything for over a week. When I called, I was hung up on multiple times. When I complained about that, they asked, "Well what do you want me to do?". I never expected to be treated this way. And as a faithful customer for over 4 years I found this unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Not the usual service that I expect from any Herrin Gear Service Center. DISAPPOINTED.

On June 4 10pm oil change appointment but still waited 2 hours 30 minutes. I was very satisfied with Jonathan's customer service. However my previous service tech, Fog failed to speak to me! In which I believe due to complaints I made about his poor customer service skills & lack of service performed on my 2010 dts Cadillac. As a result I experienced much stress/frustrations to receive the service I requested. And lost trust in Fog to receive proper car service.Sadly Fog fails to hold himself accountable but God does!!

I had a good experience a few years ago but based on what we've experienced just this week & about a year ago, no, I personally would not recommend them for service. We have one Chevrolet vehicle. There are some things which require that the vehicle be taken to a Chevrolet dealer to be serviced. Such is life. Our most recent "burn" so to speak, was the fact that they called about my son's car which was being repaired & told him it was $1,400. My wife called the week that we were going to pick the car up to let them know we were on the way to get it & get an exact amount & was told the bill was $2,800. Yes, as you can imagine we had a spirited discussion when we picked up the car. We requested to speak to the service technician that actually handled it. He said the amount that was quoted to my son was the amount in parts. Labor was not quoted nor was it mentioned as an additional potential charge. Lesson burned, lesson learned. They are the last resort for any repair work done on our Chevrolet vehicle & will only be used when we absolutely must take it to them.

Fod was excellent. My mom passed away July 6 and Fod showed us so much compassion. As soon as I pulled up in her car he asked where she was thinking she was in the car. Once I told him she had passed he immediately expressed his condolences. Just him remember my mom made us feel welcomed. Thank you again for being so compassionate and also working on my mom's car and mine also.

I spent thousands of dollars on my car here having several things repaired. I took my 2008 Cadillac in to have the air conditioning repaired and was without the car for a month or more. I had to take the car in 4 seperate times to have it complety repaired. Herrin gear did provide me with a loaner, but returned my car to me with the front floor boards covered in grease and a ripped front seat, none of which was wrong with the car when I originally dropped it off with them. Oh, and we spoke with the general manager and gave him the list of things wrong with the vehicle when we got it back. None of which was wrong when we gave it to them. He fixed some of it, but I'm stuck with a scratched passenger seat and loose panels.

Herrin-Gear Service Dept is pretty great. My alternator died and I had to get my Chevy Colorado towed. Herrin-Gear was the closest to where I broke down. Not knowing what else to do I had it towed there. I was super stressed about taking my truck to a dealership. I was a bit frustrated but a guy named Fob Fullerton took care of me, kept me informed and the price wasn't as bad as expected. They finished several days earlier than expected. The kind gentleman who gave me a ride home after the tow was wonderful and the ladies in the service dept were friendly. Thank God I didn't have to buy a new vehicle, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate doing business with that crew.
