When I go to a repair shop, I'm kind of at the mercy of the shop because I need my vehicle and I don't often have options if the car won't run. I don't worry about being "taken" by Hewstons. I called Mr.Hewstons on Tuesday to explain to him a noise I was hearing when I crank my 2012 Chevy Malibu, he was able to locate the problem, find a new starter and repair all within 2 hours!! My family was on vacation from Texas to Florida when our alternator died. We were able to make it to Hewston's shop and he replaced our alternator and charged our battery on his day off. He also gave us water and let us stay in his air conditioned office while he serviced our car. My wife, kids, and I all thank him for his great customer service and friendliness.I would recommend his shop to anyone. Thanks Again!

I've been bringing my cars to David since 2005-2006. Ever since the dealership tried to charge me $1100 for a gasket repair. Took it to David for a second opinion and hopefully a cheaper price. It was a small cracked pipe that he charge $350 to repair. He's had my business ever since. He fix whats needs to be fixed, lets you know what can wait for now. He's pretty quick, for as busy as he stays.

Came recommended by an auto parts store. Was very friendly and honest! We were told by the dealership that our problem was basically unfixable as it would cost more than the car was worth. Took it to him and he fixed it in one day for about $200. He came in to finish it on a Sunday, since he knew we would need it back for the work week. I cannot be more happy and satisfied than I am with his service and attitude. I will go no where else for any auto needs from now on. I'd give mr. Hewston 10 stars if the rating went that high. Excellent, EXCELLENT service. HONEST.

Traveling from Cali to Tampa, fl with a 1 year old is tough enough, but when our alternator decided to go out that was the icing on the cake. I've been doing business with him for over twenty years. He had a shop in his backyard in the days. If you think he's high. He put high quality parts with warranties. The labor is the same as others shops. You want 14.00 brake pads , good chance he's not gonna put them on for you
