Serviced on my Mercedes twice and also took care of the parts when a beach mouse made a home in my engine. Have had very good experience with Guy and the price is better than the dealership. I had awful service at the Pensacola Centennial Mercedes dealership. Wish they had a shuttle service but the car service has been great!

I’ve had my Audi TT fixed twice at this shop. Guy is extremely honest, passionate about what he does, and always ensures I walk out of there with my car in mint condition for about a third of the price I would expect. He charges way less in labor costs than any other shop I’ve been to and does exceptional work. After the first visit, I decided I was never going anywhere else. If you’re looking for an honest shop where you can get top quality work done for a third of the price you would expect from a dealer, come to this place. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Well, I can’t praise this shop enough. After my 2019 Porsche Cayenne would not start while at the grocery store parking lot, I found out my warranty was up three months prior! Porsche dealership in Mobile needed my car towed (at $750) in order to diagnose. I called Palofox Imports and they said I could have towed there. Used Fletcher towing (amazing ,too, btw) and Guy, the owner, looked at it immediately after coming off tow truck. Couldn’t see obvious problem, said he would look at it more closely later in the day. But the time I returned home, 45 minutes later, Guy had called and figured out the problem! An easy fuse fix that he had researched. Said it was ready for pick up and DID NOT charge me a penny for diagnosis and fix! Brought the fellas a case of beer for their help! Gotta reward when rewards are earned!! Great shop to work with and will use them exclusively from now on for all our import repairs.

This is hands down the best auto service shop I have ever taken my Mercedes to! Will and Guy are wonderful people who take their time to explain everything in detail. They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and honest. They are not pushy nor do they try to upsell me on anything. I give them an A+ and plan to come back for every future service need.

Extremely pleased with Palafox imports. Not only were they extremely thorough, but they were also communicative and professional. I had been experiencing some issues with my VW that the dealership could not find and not only did Palafox imports find the issue, but they also resolved it and made sure that I understood what was happening every step of the way. I am grateful that I have found them and will be using them exclusively moving forward.

I will never take my Jetta to anyone else in town ever again. Thomas was especially helpful along with the mechanics that really knew what they were doing. Outstanding communication the entire time. Realistic expectations of time and cost needed. I couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re reading this, thanks again to you all for amazing service.

I don't review often except when something is exceptionally good or unexpectedly disappointing. I was a little hesitant about not going to the dealer with a pricey Mercedes van conversion later model that had an electrical problem and possibly more. It required a tow and I had no clue what was in store for me. I noticed most of the cars in the lot were very expensive imports so I was more confidant. I gave them a chance and I realized my concern was unfounded. Very impressed with the front office guy Thomas but especially impressed with Guy (the owner). After speaking with him for a few minutes I realized I found that guy that knows what he’s doing. If you have an issue with an import car and are looking for someone that is straight up, honest and knows what he’s doing don’t be hesitant to go here. Hope this helps anyone needing a repair. Already planning my transmission maintenance.

The owner and his staff were so professional and nice. We were on our way back from Destin when the AirMatic system went out on our 2018 GLS450. First we went to the Mercedes Benz dealership. They told us there was 12 cars ahead of us so we would have to leave the car and get a rental. I googled foreign car repair shops near me and Palafox Imports came up. We called and the guy said to come in. They was able to get us a temporary fix to get us back home but that was wonderful and it was less than 30 minutes and we back on the rode. Thanks again for helping us out and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic.

With significant engine repair needed on my Audi, I was so unsure of the best decision of where and what. A friend suggested Palafox Imports. From the first phone call and walking in. They were courteous, efficient and respectful. Their prices were very fair. They explained right up front it was going take a bit longer than I expected. But I appreciated their upfront transparency. They even sent me pics of progress of my engine. It was so refreshing to have this experience. And I can’t say enough about their quality service and repair.

This shop is without a doubt one of the best in Pensacola. Thomas and the crew of technicians are educated, attentive, and thorough. They kept me informed throughout the process in getting my 2014 Audi R8 V10 Sypder back on the road. The repair was completed correctly and timely. I have definitely added them to my 2024 Christmas list!

Words can’t express the gratitude I have for this place; I can’t recommend them enough! They are the most genuine and knowledgeable mechanics I’ve ever met and they truly care about your car and finding the root of issue instead of charging you thousands of dollars for an entire replacement like other places. I took my Volkswagen to a different auto shop down the road and was told I need a new transmission. They said they couldn’t find the part and would have to order it which would take 1-2 weeks. Being on vacation, I didn’t really know what to do. After calling around, a transmission shop recommended I call Palafox Imports. I had my car towed from the auto shop to Palafox Imports and, within the hour, they had found the issue with my car: simply a 2 inch long connector that had come off. They were so honest explaining everything with detail, even giving me helpful tips and info on how to care for my specific car, and sending me on my way, same day. If you own a European car, trust me and don’t go to a regular mechanic. You will end up wasting your money in the long run as they’ll give you the quick expensive fix which might not even fix the issue. Put your car in the hands of guys who have the knowledge and experience of working with these kinds of cars and therefore know what they’re looking for.

Do not rely on these guys. They had our car for week to provide an estimate that they were going to charge $190 for. We finally picked up the car and found that they had damaged the convertible top boot when they put down the top without releasing an expander in the trunk. They were not able to diagnose the problem, did not fix anything and damaged the car...and had kept our car for a week. They told us the estimate would take 2 days. We called on day 3 and were told they were getting a part list together and would call the next day with an estimate. Since we did not get a call, we drove there on day 5 and found that nothing had been done aside from breaking the expander in the trunk. We took the car. Guy told us that there was no charge because they couldn't diagnose the problem. We now have an additional repair to make on our car and are no closer to getting the repair we needed.

My experience was decent with the owner Guy. It is the mechanic Thomas who wants to be the owner that is unprofessional to me. The price he quoted me to fix the drive shaft was decent; but I was told after the diagnosis that it also needed a catalyst converter on an E300; the price quoted was ridiculous., but they came highly recommended. Guy seemed to know his stuff but it’s unprofessional people like Thomas that will drive an upstanding business downhill. He doesn’t know how to speak to paying customers. He is rude and really need to take a class on customer service with a little bit of respect. He’s probably the main reason there are so many cars still sitting there. He has an attitude like he’s the boss when he’s just the freaking mechanic. Let Guy run his own business and you do what you’re “good” at work on cars; because you’re running all the customers away with your stinking attitude Geesh!

AVOID....AVOID....AVOID...AVOID...AVOID They had my 911 for over 3 years and I paid over 7K for repairs and they could not get the car running properly. Transferred car to another shop and was found to have a multitude of errors from PALAFOX IMPORTS. They installed a Mercedes Benz camshaft sensor in the vehicle. Reprogrammed the ECM with a Boxster ECM..and failed to torque crankshaft pulley causing pin to shear. IMO THIS IS A PART CHANGING SHOP.....THEY ARE NOT REALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE MECHANICS

We had my Mom's Audi in for repairs a couple of times this year and they are always quick, friendly, and communicative. I know we can drop off Mom's Audi and it's in good hands.

Avoid this shop. Hourly rate is extremely too high for the quality of work produced. Had an oil change, left with a flat tire from their parking lot. Was told "sorry yeah we try to run a magnet through the parking lot every week, whoopsies." With no recourse on how to make this up or even fix it. "No sorry we don't do tire work." Well you should probably return the vehicle the way it was turned into the shop. After my oil change, within 24 hours my Range Rover was throwing codes for contaminated engine oil. Spent $3000 for new Porsche brakes that squeal. The solution was to bring it back and have them hold it for a couple days so their tech can drive it around and make check whats wrong. They squealed the day I left with "brand new" brakes. I would not trust this shop to make sound and accurate repairs or to maintenance your vehicle.

Avoid this shop. I really wanted this shop to be great, because they’re one of the only indy Porsche repair facilities in town. Unfortunately I had an all around bad experience here, and I left with a dirty, damaged, and un-repaired car. I took my 911 there to perform some regular fluid/oil/filter maintenance and also to troubleshoot a worsening extended cranking issue. My research led me to believe it was a high pressure fuel pump—a known issue for the model year. The car was freshly detailed when I dropped it off. I explained to Thomas that the car was special to me and I wanted it well taken care of. When the maintenance work was finished, I was told the fuel pumps were still “good” and that I should just keep driving it until it “got worse.” Upon arriving to pick up my car, I found it absolutely covered in dust/dirt/fluid smears. The windows were down, so the interior was also covered in dust. The property itself is dirty and in disrepair, which also reflects on how they treat their customers’ cars apparently. After taking my car home to clean it again, I found two new chips in the paint on the door, and a scratch on the fender that were not present when I dropped the car off there. Furthermore the extended start issue was now worse and resulted in the car dying after a cold start. I contacted Thomas at the shop to express my disappointment in the service and to report the paint damage. He gave me a number to text some photos to, and then he simply never responded. Unbelievable. After subsequently taking my car to another Porsche specialist out of town (that washed my car and provided a loaner), it turns out I did need to replace my fuel pump after all, among a few other issues that were not discovered by Palafox Imports. The other shop had it correctly diagnosed within an hour. Buyer beware!

I have a 2008 Porsche Cayman S and have taken it to Palafix Imports a number of times for maintenance and/or repairs. I have been extremely pleased on each occasion. They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and get the job done in a timely manner. Their quotes are reasonable and spot on with jobs done. The price only changes, up or down, if they discover something different when they get into the job. Always a good experience. I highly recommend Guy and his business. In fact I am taking my car in again for some work soon.
