Don't take your car here unless you want it totaled. I had someone run into the side of my GMC Sierra in a parking lot damaging only the back door and rocker panel (see pictures). The insurance company told me to take it here, and it wasn't until 3 weeks later that the body shop communicated properly with the insurance company, and decided to total the vehicle, leaving me only a couple weeks to purchase a new car (I take summer classes so I needed a mode of transportation fast!). That said, I highly DO NOT recommend taking your vehicle here, as they will milk the insurance company for money, leaving your beloved ride totaled. I was a loyal customer to Heyward Allen since moving to Athens (dealt with GMC up the street, always went there for an oil change or repairs I couldn't perform myself) but now I have decided to take my business elsewhere. In closing, I am highly disappointed with this body shop, and I will not be dealing with them no longer, for either service or body.

Very pleased with the work done on my 2011 Honda Accord. I worked with Thomas. He was extremely communicative during the whole process, updated me on when parts arrived, and worked with the at-fault insurance. They even had the car cleaned up for pickup (wash, tire shine, interior). If you are in an accident and looking for a Body Shop to work with, I would definitely recommend Heyward Allen Collision.

Chuck even contacted my insurance company to get a supplemental claim for a real Toyota part! They also detailed/cleaned my car while they had it! After being rear ended, my Toyota Highlander was taken to Heyward Allen at my request for an estimate of repairs. They had done amazing work for us in the past, so we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The staff there was extremely friendly and Joy, the estimator, was so great about keeping me up to date with the progress on my vehicle. After I found out from my insurance company that my car was deemed a total loss, Joy helped me with every step along the way and made sure I got the highest value for my vehicle. She was there when I came to clean out my car and took time to talk to me about my accident. Even though Heyward Allen didn’t actually do any repairs for us this time, they still did an amazing job!

I just had the best experience ever at a body shop here at Heyward Allen Toyota Collision Center. I had a small repair that needed attention on my F150 (they work on ALL makes and models!). Kevin Brooks and his crew 1) got me a quick, very reasonable estimate, 2) got me in quickly, and 3) finished well before it was promised. Oh, and most importantly, they had my F150 looking perfect when it was completed! No nonsense; great folks to do business with! While I hope I don’t need this kind of service for quite some time, I know where I will go if needed in the future without hesitation.

I brought my 2014 Toyota Sienna van in for repair after a deer hit my driver side door. From the beginning of the process to the end has been completely amazing by the staff at Toyota in the body shop department. Joy at the desk was a true blessing through the process and is so sweet and beyond helpful. She is very knowledgeable. Also very helpful with getting a rental car. I can’t say enough about the team in the body shop who helped fix my car and not have it totaled out. They fixed it up like new and even detailed and washed it before I picked it up.
