Jim’s Garage fixed my flat tire while I waited and got me back on the road in about 10 minutes. Very thankful for this! Previously this year, they solved an intermittent lean condition that other shops were unable to fix. Also, as hot weather set in , I had some overheating problems that they diagnosed and repaired in a few hours. I began taking my vehicle to Jim’s Garage earlier this year at the recommendation of a friend and I’m glad I did. Friendly, competent staff, speedy repairs and the price is right. Also, their shop is only a few miles from my house. Very pleased with my experiences here!

Jim’s Garage, on Lexington Road is the best auto shop I’ve been to in Athens, Georgia! I give them the highest recommendation: After my car was overheating during this last summer, I experienced the “trials of Job” trying to get it repaired. I took it to two different mechanics/auto shops. They both took forever to fix it and did a terrible job. Both shops said it was completely fixed but it certainly wasn’t and it even got worse. Finally, upon the recommendations of friends, I took it to Jim’s Garage, which opened last year. Their expertise, affability, reliability and timeliness are unrivaled in Athens. Their mechanics know their stuff and they even have an engineer on staff! Bill, at Jim’s Garage, always called me back and talked me through the process (which had become quite involved at that point due to further damage from not getting it fixed correctly) They were quick to fix it and it wasn’t an easy repair. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an auto shop that has reliable honest expert mechanics, a friendly knowledgeable staff, and reasonable prices!

I was referred by a friend to Jim’s Garage after purchasing a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado. I previously had been to other mechanics with an old truck I own and never had great experiences with mechanics being able to properly or honestly diagnosing issues as they came up. Jim’s Garage is different - they are honest and thorough and I can trust what they’re telling me to repair on my vehicles. I take my 2020 Audi, the Cadillac, and my Ford F100 for service and repair and they take care of it all! Highly recommend them!
