The only reason we come here is because it’s close to us. Their services for the most simplest things take ALL day long. We come in periodically to do these 3 things. Tire rotation, balance and alignment. Each time it takes an average of 6 hours or longer. We can be the first ones at the shop, but we’re the last ones picking our vehicle back up. 6-7 hours to swap some tires, balance it and do an alignment is bizarre. They also always get the PSI wrong for our sprinter vans even if it’s in the notes and right inside the driver door showing the tech what it needs to be at. We’ve expressed this issue many times over the years we’ve been coming here, but it seems like we may just need to take our business elsewhere, even if it means going further out to get service. Repetitive issues, excessive waiting for some tires and an alignment, and it’s always “sorry.” Have even had an issue where our tires were being eaten bad and they admitted their machine was not calibrated correctly for the last alignment. I wish I recorded the conversation as both me and my fiance heard it because when we went in there in person, all of a sudden it’s “we don’t know what you’re talking about.” How convenient is it that, as I’m writing this, our vehicle is still there 6 hours later waiting for an alignment.

I used to buy all my tires from Porterfield tire. I guess they changed ownership and they did not want to honor my lifetime tire balance on a set of four tires that I had purchased at this location. I had to argue tooth & nail with them to get them to honor it, which I thought was pretty lousy. They said next time I have to pay when it was their policy to have a lifetime tire balance. This is no way to keep customers and I’ve spoken to friends of mine and they all had the same sentiment about this new ownership. 👎
