We did business with Hoffman for years; we purchased a new CRV this week but not from Hoffman. Thier price was almost $1700 more than what we paid for the car. They kept asking us to show them quotes, we shouldn't have to do that. We are loyal customers, and they treated us terribly. Move on, don't use them. They are all about money. Their customer service is terrible!

I am a return customer of Hoffman. Had a good experience 4 years ago so thought I would return to purchase another vehicle. Stopped in one afternoon and found a vehicle I thought my wife would like. Brought her in that night for a test drive and decided to purchase the vehicle. Rich and Matt initially said early in the process that we would need a deposit to hold the vehicle. We continued to talk and worked out an agreeable deal. I told them I wanted to purchase winter tires and have them put on the vehicle before delivery. Matt said to stop in the next morning and pick out the tires and sign the paperwork. There was no further discussion of a deposit. Matt texted me at 10:48 the next morning asking if I was still coming in. I replied at 10:50 and said yes that I had been held up at work a bit but would be in. I then immediately called Rich and said I would be there in 35 minutes. He then informed me that the vehicle had been sold. Matt explained that I didn’t put down a deposit and couldn’t expect the vehicle to be held “forever”. I told him I said I would be in that morning and it was still morning. He said he would try to get me in something else. I wasn’t interested. Westbrook Honda said they were very interested in earning my business and got me the same vehicle with 16000 miles less and AWD for the same price including a 5 year extended warranty. I will not return to Hoffman. They obviously don’t care about customer loyalty.

AVOID AT ALL COST. On December of 2024 I called ahead to look at a car, they knew I was coming, when I arrived the car and set up a day and time to see it. When I went to see it, it was on the lift in the mechanic shop, was told I would be called as soon as the car was ready, 4 days later I notice the price on the car was reduced, I immediately reached out and asked about the car and was told it's ready to see, unfortunately I was at work and can't just leave that I would be there in the morning, was told to leave a large deposit, I was unable to at that moment but that I would be there very early in the morning. The next morning maybe around 9:10 am I called the dealership to let them know I was almost there, and they informed me that it had sold. Very shady practice, do not recommend this place, they will play head games with you. Update; In early January a general manager contacted me and promised he would work with me to "make things right". As long as the original review I posted was removed. I had hopes that the dealership was really trying to make things right, in all honesty they just wanted the bad review removed. Im writing this in mid march, he would not answer emails, avoided me, they never helped, never intended to, they just wanted the bad review gone. I highly suggest you avoid this dealership. Businesses like these are the reason why car dealerships have such a bad reputation.

My entire experience with Hoffman Porsche of East Hartford was exciting. When Ron Palladino and I were building my Cayenne Turbo Coupe I was pleasantly surprised with the ease in which I could change the options and view them on the big screen. BMW of Waterbury may be the worst car dealer in CT. Sales department can care less about thier customers. Worst customer experience when purchasing our vehicle. Scheduled service on line with requested loaner car. Got to the service desk and that have no record of my loaner request. Said there was no record of loaner request, and could I wait 90 minutes for the service. What choice did I have at 7:30 in the morning. Others waited 60 minutes for a loaner and one customer left and said he would never come back. Very nice Poinsettia's throughout the dealer that haven’t seen water in weeks. Similar to the service of their customers.

Another pleasant car purchase from the team of Hoffman Honda and Hoffman Audi. Started with getting an oil change for my 2013 Honda Fit that I bought here in 2012. Saw an Audi Q3 in their used lot and came back a few days later to check it out. Kim Reyes was my salesman and was very helpful through the process. He helped me with the price negotiation and closing. There was a question regarding a second key fob which could not be found. Kim was able to work with Robert Hlasyszyn, at Hoffman Audi in East Hartford to order a new fob. Kim and Robert did what helps makes a good salesman. They both followed up with me every step of the way to deliver as promised. My long term relationship with Hoffman is solid and I recommend them, and their team, to check out on your next car purchase.

My sales man name was Kim and he just about did what ever was necessary for me to get the car I was looking at and I thought the whole entire team was fantastic. I leased my 2025 SQ5 from the New London location, and had such an amazing experience compared to purchasing a vehicle from anywhere else. They are friendly, polite, KNOWLEDGABLE and as the wife of a car enthusiast this meant a lot to us. I picked up my car yesterday after being in an accident. I LOVE IT! From the day I dropped it off Hoffman made it a smooth transaction. The receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable. Chris was able to give me a ride home, George was great with keeping me up to date with parts and dealing with insurance company, and John did a fantastic job matching my paint color.
