Originally I had an appointment set up with Midas to get my check engine light checked. I didn't have a great feeling about going there so I canceled the appointment and made one with Hoffman's based on the reviews I had seen. I can tell you that I will never go to another place to get any of our cars looked at or serviced. After going through the diagnostic check they were unable to find anything wrong with my car. I had been originally quoted $150ish and when I went to pay they would not take my money. I was told that since they didn't fix anything they would not accept payment. I was blown away. I have a customer service background of 25+ years and I have never received better service. These guys are the absolute best.

Just got my emissions test done here, they were so polite and fast! Plus free coffee, can't go wrong there. All I needed today was the emissions test, but I saw their prices for other repairs and they were very competitive. I'm thinking I'll go here the next time I need something done.

I went to get emissions tested at 9:00 one day. I was told they didn’t start until 10. I did some errands and came back at 12:30. I was told they only do it until noon. They didn’t mention that when I was there earlier! I went back the next week instead and there was a sign up saying they weren’t doing them at all that week! I don’t know how they stay in business.

We came here in an emergency. Our tire popped and we were far from home. Pat was in the middle of doing something and he still managed to put a new tire on our rim. It was very nice of him to stop what he was doing to help us. He was busy and still decided to help us. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a new tire! Pat was amazing! Thank you so much!

Hoffman's Auto is the most honest shop this 50 year old has ever done business with by far! After MANY needed repairs (most known and some unknown) my Expedition now drives BETTER than the day I bought it. Worth every cent! Firstly I want to say that their level of professionalism and friendliness is outstanding and I was thoroughly impressed by that. I dropped my car off at 8:30 am yesterday, by 11am the next day they had a diagnosis and a plan of action for fixing the issues and by 3pm the issues were fixed. I gave this shop a try this week for the first time as it is nearby. I was highly impressed with the customer service and work done. They caught an odd electrical issue where a small leak caused oil to get into a wire harness connection. It easily could be missed and was causing vehicle to stall. That and a new ignition switch got me back on the road. They were nice enough to give me a ride home and even picked me up when it was done. This shop now has all my future business and I highly recommend to anyone!

Great service and I would 100% recommend! I have been going to Hoffmans for the past 7 years and they do great work! They are always reliable and professional and very reasonably priced. They go out of their way to help their customers, and even gave me a ride back to work while they were working on my car so I didn’t have to sit and wait there. When I was having an issue with my oil, they offered to check it for me on a regular basis for free to make sure my car was running smoothly! I am no longer living and working in Kenosha otherwise I would continue to use them! They will be the business I miss the most in Kenosha!

Al is such a great and honest man. He knows his stuff and doesn't fix and repair stuff you don't need just because. Very respectable and works with you. He's always my go to guy when I need something done, and have been doing business with Al for about 3 years. Best mechanic/owner I've ever known who doesn't cheat or lie to you. He's changed my tune about auto shops. Period.

Do not go to these guys they are very shady and they lie. I went there to get an alternator fixed and they broke my radiator and had to replace that. And then a few weeks later while in the middle of a funeral procession the alternator pulley broke off. When I went there to talk to them about it I have them on audio saying that if it's broke down because of a part they put on that I wouldn't have to pay anything. They called me later that day to tell me that my car was fixed and I owe them $124 for a tow. I knew they were going to pull some shady shit so I recorded the conversation in the morning or the guy says I should not have to pay anything if it's from their part and they went back on their word. Oh yeah also they want to charge me $450 to put a battery in my Dodge Journey.

Hoffmans Auto is by far the most Honest and Trust worthy place I have ever been blessed to find. I have to say as a 70yr old women I’ve had more than my share of places cheating me simply because i looked like an easy mark. I have been going to Volvo in north field I’ll since I bought my car in 2013. The last couple of years I have had problems with the service Hoffmans was recommended I’ve been there twice I can only say that they treat me with respect and do the work properly. Today went for an oil change where the discovered my tires wear bad and my front brakes. They fixed everything and my car drives almost like new. They don’t treat me like an ignorant woman and showed me all the problems you can’t find mechanics like this
