For an automatic wash, there is no automated scrubbing. It sprays soap on, then sprays water on. It did get the pollen off my car though which was my main reason for going, but will try to find a better car wash. I didn't try the self serve stations.

Good location for self service car wash all of the settings worked on brush hose and vacuum. Bring cash because my bay didn’t not have a card slot.

Pretty decent little fairly priced carwash, the owner seems to keep the place up and stays pretty clean and it's located in a pretty decent past of town. Would recommend this to anyone good vacuums all around one of the best in the Roanoke area for sure!

do not recommend. you have to wash your car in 3 mins before you have to keep putting coins in. takes too much time. brush had mud all over so made my car muddy. don’t recommend go to ultimate shine!! :))

It’s a nice, convenient car wash! You have the option to go through the drive wash or to do it yourself. The vacuums work well, too!

Got my card stuck under the machine and had to call the owner he responded very fast and was friendly and professional the entire time.Even stood around a talked for a little bit. We always chose this car wash no matter what and it is by far the best.

Great car wash! One of the few left that doesn't do the silly tokens. I wish the people that use the car wash and vacuums were more respectful of the property. A lot of times people trash it. If I find it that way when I go, I always pick up the trash for them.

Nice car wash! I was looking for somewhere in Roanoke to wash my car and ended up choosing here. The self wash bays ONLY take coins, so be aware! They do not take card. The change machine takes 1s and 5s only. I didn’t have a bill small enough, so I ended up trying the automatic car wash. I purchased the deluxe wash for $10 as the automatic wash does accept card! It did a good job and got my car clean from the salted roads and bugs. Paid $1 to vacuum my car for four minutes and this was a plus, though it does only take quarters. If you come here be sure to bring quarters or cash, or you’ll be going through the automatic wash like me. Will definitely come back! 🙂

Touch free automatic car wash was a little pricey for what you get. Especially with it needing to be serviced. The passenger side sprayer seemed clogged and wasn't covering near what the driver side was. Vacuums and wash it yourself bays are reasonably priced for the area. Relatively clean property with basic car wash amenities.

Has automatic car wash and the do it yourself ones. Soap brush and turn dial worked, they accept tap pay, chip and cash and the water was hot! Great for getting all the winter road grime off.

So I stopped by due to owners response about having card readers. It doesn't (as of mid July 2023). But the place has good stuff. It doesn't accept 20s either so I had to leave and come back. That's all. Would come again.

Turned into a dump. They don't even refill the spray wax and wheel cleaner. So 3rd time in a row this week no wax ot wheel cleaner. Never again. Used to be the best!!

Mark,I have used Hollins Car wash several times on my way the Veterans hospital in Salem. I live in Bedford County and Chris the owner and car wash both are exceptional! I highly recommend Hollins Car Wash!

UPDATE: The owner is on vacation but took the time to reach back out to me. He will check the log and see what went wrong when he is available. Also, he was super nice! I was at this car wash and I just swiped my card for the car wash and it charged me $10. I had 9 mins and 40 seconds on the timer and it literally cut off on me before my time was even up. I literally was about to wash my car mats and it cut off. Tried to call the number listed for this car wash and no one answered. So now I have to dispute that $10 for a wash that I couldn’t even use.

Finding a conveniently located car wash thats well cared for and managed , reasonably priced and has the services you’re looking for isn’t always as easy as it sounds I have learned!! This one definitely checks all those boxes for me though which I love. There’s a brand new automatic wash at this location and it’s amazing ! The exterior of my car was cleaner than I expected—didn’t take long at all-has a dryer and all! Anytime I’m near Hollins/Peters Creek Rd area this is always my first choice of where to come. I know I can count on things to be well maintained here and that the owner is very customer service oriented and cares about making sure your experience here is great. It’s super easy to pay with a credit card if you want to and the convenience of it being open 24 hours a day Is so helpful and especially when it’s well lit at night and in a good location. Definitely check out this place if you haven’t yet and need a happier cleaner car —you’ll be glad you did and will keep coming back for many years to come, I’m sure of it!
