I’ve been going to this place to service my cars since 2015, I take all 4 of my cars for oil changes and other services if needed! They are truly honest and the main mechanic is great. Always gets the job done and if they can’t they refer me to someone who can!

I went there to get my oil changed and I was out in less than a 1/2. An hour at a great price. I will definitely return and recommend others.

Tucked behind the Arco Gas Station but within the same premises, Honest Auto Corp. truly lives up to its name. Efficient, professional, friendly, affordable and honest. I come here for all my Auto work and I've never been dissappointed. Comes highly recommended.

I came there for one thing, they helped me it without charging me - then put air in my tires. They were very polite and professional. I would go back for any repairs and feel confident that I am being taken care of - without wondering if I am being overcharged.

Honest Auto Group really lives up to its name. I was quoted $363 by Toyota Riverside to fix my window Seal that falls off by itself. Alex and Joseph from Honest Auto group fixed it for lot cheaper - not even $100. Moreover, while i was there at the shop, an older gentleman came and said one of his signal light cover needs a replacement. Alex looked up the model that fits his car and told him to order from Amazon for $19.95 vs for Alex to order the part for $40 from the 3rd party. He then said to the gentleman that once you have the light cover, bring it to me and i will put it on for free for you. They do care about customers. I am glad I have found them. Thank you Honest Auto Group!

I have going here for 8 years. Alway good service. On my last visit I was going on a trio to San Louis Obispo, I took it in had oil change and all fluid levels checked. Next morning as I was leaving, I got as far as Nogales and Amar. Smoke coming out from the hood, I pulled over went back to see Alex to show him the problem. He said "I've been doing this for over 30 years no way I did that". He forgot to set the handle on the transmission dip stick.i had transmission oil all over my truck motor. Everyone makes mistakes, we're not perfect. But he denied doing it. If he had apologized and cleaned and re check the oil level, I would have said for your kindness and that would have been it. But when you make a mistake and deny it, that's wrong. 2 years now, I haven't gone back. Auto Zone has mechanics that come to the house and change your oil. Francisco dose does a great job and very honest.

Best service ever? There are cheaper places. There are more technically skilled places. But there is no more honest mechanics than the mechanics at Honest Auto. The service is fantastic- fast, relatively inexpensive, and high quality. The experience is all-around headache and worry-free. Come here for excellent service, stay for the honest character of Honest Auto.

This would be my preferred to-go place whenever I needed an oil change for my car. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always ready to help. They also truly live up to their name, they do not seek to charge me more than what I need. I don't go here as often anymore as I moved out to another city, but if I could I'd continue to get services from them. Would recommend!

Had a terrible experience here the 2nd time I had my car serviced. A couple of weeks ago, I had my car serviced for oil change, tune up, suspension, and a couple more maintenance items. So it’s a significant amount of money that I am paying. The job was finished in about 5 hours. Upon getting the car back, the owner told me that they noticed some vibrations which he suspects is a misfire. I did not personally experience any misfire while owning the car, and most importantly, did not have symptoms when I brought it to their shop. I decided to just take the car and observe what he was saying. A few days after, I inspected my intake tube was cracked and transmission breather hose detached from the firewall. I thought maybe I should just address these and perhaps the intake tube is the culprit of the misfire-like symptoms. Changed it, same symptoms. Finally, about 2 weeks after, I got a P0306 code, which means cyl 6 detected a misfire. Changed the coil myself, no help. I did not want to inspect nor change the plugs since I did not want to void any warranties on their end. Brought the car to their shop to inform them about the issue and I said that I suspect that the plugs are bad. Alex said it was all working properly. He switched the 5 & 6 coils to eliminate the possibility of the coil being the culprit. A few hours later, got the same code. I was told by Alex that I will be needing a valve adjustment to fix the issue. Brought it back the following week to have my valves adjusted. A couple of hours later, I was told that they did not continue with the valve adjustment and they did a compression test instead. They said that cylinder 6 had low compression. Gave me 2 options: (1) rebuild the engine (2) buy a new engine. I told him that I will have to think about it since it is a big decision that involves a lot of money. After a few days, with all fault codes cleared, I noticed that the CEL showed that I now have a P0305. Which means cylinder 5 is now the issue. I finally made a decision to inspect the plugs myself since it’s basically a rebuild or a new engine for me anyway. Upon removal of the plug in cylinder 5, I noticed that it had a long hairline crack and looks in a real bad shape. Replaced it myself and the misfiring and rough idle is now gone. Misdiagnosed? ✅ Rebuild engine ❌ New engine ❌ Dishonest ✅ Called to ask for reimbursement for the plugs and was told that they do not do that, only offered store credit. I had a good feeling about this shop before, but after this incident, I would say that they do not act and perform as good as the name of their company. Never going back.

Highly recommended. Found them on Google about 2 years ago, and now I’m a regular. Honest, professional, accommodating, prompt and extremely kind. Definitely the most reliable auto guys out there. They will and can fix anything other people can’t, at an affordable price! They are the cheapest AND best around. I have referred many friends to them since, and they all had nothing but perfect feedback. Give them a try!

Not as honest as expected. I went in for a brake pad change, but ended up with a bunch of things broken(they are all very closed to the brake pads). Joseph and his employees claimed that they did not touch those, so they would not be able to replace them for me for free. A brake pad change ended up costing me over $600. I even offered to split the cost, but Joseph refused. After about a year, I found out that at other shops, if things break at their shop, they would replace it for free. Definitely not recommending doing anything else other than an oil change at this place.

The owner of this shop is not honest. With your professional level, the rear wheels of some cars cannot be adjusted. I told you that there was a problem with the rear wheel. After you installed the machine, you told me that the rear wheel could not be adjusted, and you still charged me. Doesn't this make you seem very dishonest? This is the first point. Second, you told me that there was a nail in my right rear wheel. I have encountered this kind of routine too many times in Los Angeles. I checked it before going to your shop. I told you not to worry about the nail. I checked it myself not far from your door. There was no nail at all, and there was no leak. Fortunately, you had a conscience and did not hammer the nail in for me, otherwise this would be a big deal. Because I had a video before entering your shop. Your repair shop can only charge me this time. Do you want me to come again next time? I also introduced two customers to your shop for maintenance. It's really not good.

The name says it all—this shop is nobullshit and gets straight to the point. They’re highly professional with very reasonable pricing. Other places quoted me twice as much, but this shop got it done for half the price

A highly recommended auto repair shop—the staff are very professional, and the owner is honest. My family has been taking our cars there for maintenance and repairs for over 10 years, and we've never had to worry about a thing.

I had to get multiple things fixed for my car and I am so satisfied with the service! They took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and even showed me every part that needed replacement. They got it all done within the work day too! I HIGHLY recommend this place. They aren't like other places that will just try to drain you of your money.

I came to Honest Auto Shop a while back for an oil change on my 2003 Corolla and brought my own 5-quart container of Mobil 1 oil. My car only needs about 4.4 quarts, so I usually get the leftover back to use for top-offs between oil changes (due to a slow leak) or save it for next time. At other shops, the mechanics always return the unused portion — no questions asked. But when I asked for the remainder here, I was told they used it all because of the leak. That didn’t sit right with me. It felt like they were either careless or just didn’t want to give the leftover oil back. Either way, it left me questioning their honesty. To make matters worse, they quoted me over $600 for some maintenance & repairs — I ended up getting the same issue fixed by another trusted mechanic for $200. Small things, but they add up. Ladies, especially, be cautious and get a second opinion. I won’t be returning.

Very professional. My car can’t turn on after putting gas in ARCO. The owner helps me to push the car to their shop and found out the problem quick. The price is reasonable with warranty.
