They are unprofessional. The red head at the front desk is horribly disrespectful. This is my first negative review EVER. Unfortunately, I'd like to warn anyone from doing business here.

Have a VW? You be very happy with them. I had 2 rear panels replaced on my 71 Transporter. It was seamless, perfect.

I took my 69 bug to Hook's for a very affordable oil change and tune-up. He checked out every aspect of the car and let me know the current condition of every component. When I picked it up it felt like I was driving a brand new car. I won't take my vw anywhere else!

He's saddly a crook. Took my first thousands. Found out the parts I was buying from him to fix my bus came straight from Spalding's and Pull and Save. I was not aware or this but I paid a good price for them. Was in there once I twice a week getting my bus running. It would die about 4 hrs after its visit with Hook. Van never has run right and to his delight I would have kept paying him to fix it and it would never get fixed. I waisted 6500.00 on repairs the engine I had boughten rebuilt so there was no problem there he didn't touch it to much. But still it's messed up now. I stopped going to him after he freaked out on me because I caught him in a 250.00$ lie. I pulled out a prark plug wire by accident when once again it broke down. So it went back to him. After he told me I was wrong about how it broke down, there was oil pouring out of the bottom so I told him, I looked and saw oil drops forming and told him I was correct. He said it was oil from the oil change, I didn't need, and that was spilt oil. Since I then realized what a aucker I was I went to the engine and found the spark plugs and and wires had not been messed with and the one cable was still ripped out of the plug holder thing. To say the least he turned three shades of red and went off on me. Not sure why except he was caught. Just be aware if you chose to take your vehical there. I'm sure it's been going on for a while. And don't be surprised if you keep going back to him over and over and find yourself stuck on the side of the road alot. I'm great ful I had a camper bus. I sure did need it. BE VERY CAUTIOUS AND CHECK HIS WORK!

Truly a terrible experience Initially quoted 30k for restoration, Hook kept asking for more $$, at 43k was told the 68 bus was done. Horn honked with turn signal use, wipers, radio not working. Drivers door wouldn’t close. Attempted to drive home, started smoking, wouldn’t pull 4th gear. Motor leaking oil. Had bus towed to another shop, $3700 later new motor. Cylinders had rust on the walls, rings couldn’t seat. Blake had put on a cheap Chinese heads. CROOKS. STAY CLEAR.

My 67 Bug has never run so smooth after Blake rebuilt the carburetors. He knows these machines so well and he fixes it right the first time and in a timely manner. I especially like that he walks through everything he did by showing you on your vehicle. I will not take my Bug anywhere else.

Awesome place. Highly recommended. Hook and Blake helped us out on a cross-country road trip by getting our heater working in a '73 Beetle and fixing one of the tail lights. Thanks for your help, fellas!

Knowledgeable beyond belief Bartholomew the younger tech sure knows his way around the shop! The whole family couldn’t be nicer and if they don’t have it in one form or another, it doesn’t exist. This place was beyond accommodating and saved our road trip with a huge instant repair. 100 stars!

Blake is great to work with. He is so knowledgeable. We had our engine rebuilt on a 1979 Westy and its life was restored! Thanks so much for giving us many years as we go forward with our bus!
