Great service and excellent customer experience! Steve and Mike (Mechanic) were very honest and transparent about what needed to be done. They took the time to explain everything and offered helpful recommendations for what to replace on the next service. I ask a lot of questions, and they answered every one of them patiently. The pricing was also reasonable—much better than what the Porsche dealer quoted. Highly recommend!

House Automotive was very helpful in getting my car fixed up after an oil leak cause by a negligent mechanic at another shop. They were honest and transparent with pricing and provided clear, responsive communication throughout the process. I found my new go-to shop!

This was my first time taking my car to this House location, as I live right between Encino and Thousand Oaks, but I was instantly blown away by the hospitality and kindness from Steve and the technicians. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and completely transparent (which is a rarity when it comes to car maintenance and repairs). If you're looking for a trustworthy team to keep your Porsche running smoothly and performing at its best, look no further because this is the place to go!

My experience at House was fantastic. Steve took great care of me and most importantly my car from the beginning to the end. Communication was great and I wasn’t pressured into doing unnecessary repairs. They fixed my oil leak and said after their inspection everything else on the car was good and no need to do anything else. Porsche repairs can be super expensive and a lot of mechanics will over charge for everything and have you do unnecessary things. That wasn’t the case here. It was my first time going there and they won me over as a customer going forward.

I brought my Porsche Panamera in for service to House Auto in Thousand Oaks. My experience was fabulous! The service advisor, Tara, was knowledgeable, professional, and provided excellent customer service. The pricing was fair and the work was completed with efficient timing. I highly recommend House Auto and Tara for all your Porsche needs!

Do NOT waste your time. I went in for what was supposed to be a simple estimate on some miscellaneous work for one of my Porsches, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. 1. The labor rate is outrageous — $325 per hour. For that price you can take your car to an actual Porsche dealership where ALL the technicians are factory certified. 2. I was told the consultation would be free, yet I was charged $250 for a “diagnosis” even though I explained exactly what I needed done. 3. The front office person had zero Porsche knowledge, which is surprising for a shop claiming to be Porsche specialists. He couldn’t answer basic questions and just pushed everything onto the estimate. 4. My estimate came back at $25–30k NOT including parts for basic repairs like a non-working door handle and suspension bushings. We’re not talking about an engine-out rebuild here. 5. Their website advertises vehicle transport/pickup but in reality it’s only within 7 miles — something they should clearly state. My own Uber ended up costing me $50 out of pocket. In the end, I spent $300 just for them to look at the car, and walked away with nothing of value. The positive reviews here do not reflect the experience I had. Anyone willing to pay $325 per hour for non-certified work is out of their mind. It’s unfortunate because I own five Porsches and was hoping to build a long-term relationship with a local specialist. Luckily, I have other excellent mechanics nearby. Just sharing my experience so others don’t waste your time like I did or get taken advantage of.

I recently brought in my 1996 Porsche Carrera for service at House Automotive, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The manager and technicians communicated with me clearly throughout the process and took the time to explain the work being done. I trust their team completely. The work was completed thoroughly, and I feel confident and safe driving my car again. For an older Porsche, that kind of peace of mind matters a lot. My car feels solid, reliable, and almost brand new. House Automotive has earned my trust, and I highly recommend them for anyone who wants quality work and genuine professionalism.

I normally take my Porsches to my local dealer, but there are some jobs the dealer isn't equipped to handle in a way that's not factory authorized. Case in point - the first and second generation Boxster and water cooled Carrera uses a heater flap control that over time partially disintegrates and requires a several day repair to replace a part. It's actually a VW part, and the foam on the flaps disintegrates, blowing foam chunks out the vents (not healthy to breathe) and rendering the heat and A/C (including defrost) ineffective. Replacing the part will cause the problem to reoccur again. The better approach is to go in through the dash, remove any remaining foam, and seal up the vent flap holes with plugs and tape, which is a permanent and much more cost effective solution (search YouTube for details). HOUSE recently opened near me, has a stellar reputation, and could do the work, so I scheduled with them. Tara, the TO shop service manager contacted me ahead of time to discuss the work and make sure everything was ready. When I arrived she greeted me, reviewed details for the work to be performed, answered my questions, then kept me informed of progress. No surprises, just the consummate professional with years of Porsche expertise I would expect from a top rated Porsche service facility. All the work was done correctly and thoroughly by experienced knowledgeable Porsche techs, with this problem solved for good. The service I got from Tara and the rest of the HOUSE team was top notch, and I will definitely use them again for my service and repair needs.

Steve and Mike were absolutely incredible. Steve took the time to walk me through everything my Porsche needed, explained why each service was necessary and important, and made sure I understood the work being done. They collectively worked together diagnosing any and all issues needing to be addressed. Steve also offered helpful optional recommendations with zero pressure, which I really appreciated. They were professional, knowledgeable, and quick to address every question I had. I’ll definitely be bringing my Porsche back to House for all future service and maintenance — I trust them completely.

I had a great experience at House Automotive. Steve Kramer performed a thorough inspection on my 2015 Porsche 911 Cabriolet, and the level of detail was impressive. He took the time to clearly explain the current condition of the car and walk me through the upcoming routine maintenance that will be needed. Steve was honest, knowledgeable, and demonstrated excellent customer service throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated his transparency and professionalism. I will absolutely return to House Automotive when the services are needed and highly recommend them to other Porsche owners.

I recently brought my 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman to House Automotive to have the mesh radiator grilles installed. I had already purchased the grilles myself and wasn’t sure if they would be willing to install customer-supplied parts. Not only were they happy to help, but the entire experience exceeded my expectations. They initially quoted me a couple of hours of labor, but completed the job in just about an hour, and that included installing both the front grilles and the side vent grilles. The fit and finish were excellent, and the car looks fantastic. What really stood out was their professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency. The team was welcoming, transparent, and respectful of my time. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers. My wife drives a 2026 Porsche Panamera, and we’ll definitely be returning to have front mesh grilles installed on her vehicle as well. If you’re looking for quality work, honest service, and a professional team, I highly recommend House Automotive. I’ll absolutely be back.
